Chapter 9: Sports Festival Part 2

Having been told the points of first place, the point-hungry students has their eyes set on Ryoichi as if he was prey.

"Give it your best shot" He smirked in reponse, taking the challenge.

Midnight carried on explaining the human cavalry battle event, "The time limit is 15 minutes.

The total points of each group is the total of the points of each member.

The headband with the points can be worn anywhere as long as it's above your neck.

Even if your team's headbands are taken, it doesn't mean you're out. Until the time limit is over, you can protect or steal headbands until the timer reaches 0.

Now, look for your teammates!" She said, and the students scurried looking for teammates.

The students, not wanting the be the centre of attention during the calvary match, avoided Ryoichi.

"So, wanna join my team?" He smiled as he looked at Juvia in front of him who nodded.

"Nice, now we have all we need to actually take part in the cavalry" Ryoichi and Juvia then relaxed until the start of the event.

Unsurprisingly, no one else asked to join their team, not that they need it though.

"Now, 10 minutes is over, everybody get ready!" Midnight said.

The students walked into the small arena where the cavalry would take place.

"NOW RAISE UP YOUR WARCRIES AND FIRE THE SIGNAL!" Present Mic announced "NOW IT'S TIME FOR UA'S DEADLY-"

"Not actually" Aizawa added

"-EVENT TO BEGINNN!"

Ryoichi crouched down in front of Juvia, confusing her

"Get on, I wouldn't be a man if I let a woman carry me, would I?" He stated, to which Juvia zoned out for about 2 seconds

'Juvia... on Ryoichi's back... feel his muscles... touch him everywhere' She then pervertedly smirked with her cheeks flushed as her imagination went all over the place

"Juvia?" Ryoichi's voice snapped her out of it, who quickly jumped up onto his back.

He had his arms under her thighs for grip purposes (totally only that) and she wrapped her arms over his shoulders, pulling herself closer.

'Heh~... Ryoichi's scent~' She smirked.

"ALL RIGHT, EVERYBODY'S FORMED THEIR TEAMS.

LETS START THE COUNTDOWN TO THE VICIOUS CLASH!!" Present Mic announced enthusiastically.

"3...

2...

1...

BEEEGINNNNN!!"

And so, all the teams (A/N: All teams are same pretty much) rushed Team Ryoichi.

"Those points are mine you bastard!!" Bakugo shouted.

"I'm sorry, Ryoichi!" Izuku apologised

And a few of the other teams said other things, but Ryoichi just smirked, and so did Juvia, but both for different reasons.

"Awww, thanks guys..." All teams circled him and got closer every second "Your words mean a lot, but"

As soon as they were all a metre or two away from him, Ryoichi said the name of his move for the fun of it.

He let go of one of Juvia's thighs as he raised his arm up high and said

"Almighty... PUSH!"

Suddenly, all the opposing teams were sent flying, and some were even knocked off their 'horses', eliminating half the teams in the process.

"WELL DAYUMMMMM, THE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE AND FIRST PLACE, RYOICHI CHENEY, JUST ELIMINATED HALF THE TEAMS" Present Mic stood up in joy at the exciting events.

"WOOOO!!" The crowd cheered loudly.

"YEAH!! That's MY son!" Ryoichi's father, who was in one of the first rows, shouted in ecstasy.

"WOOO, I PUSHED THAT BOY OUT OF ME! THAT'S MY BABYYY!" Ryoichi's mother embarassingly shouted.

"TMI honey"

"Sorry, hehe"

Back to the cavalry event, Team Ryoichi was now chilling in the corner and conversating as no team dared to approach then anymore and risk being knocked off their horse.

Feeling that Juvia was starting to slip from his grip, Ryoichi threw her up slightly and quickly wiped his hands on his shirt. He then gripped her thighs again with his now-dry hands.

The action threw Juvia, who was daydreaming the whole cavalry match, off guard. Being caught by Ryoichi, Juvia couldn't help but let out a little "Mmm~", making both her and Ryoichi blush.

"Uh- Sorry" Ryoichi chuckled.

"It-It's okay, Juvia's fine!" She blushed.

The rest of the match was silent for the two of them as they had no idea what to say after the incident.

"IT'S NEARLY OVER, EVERYBODY COUNTDOWN WITH ME

10... 9...

8...7...

6...5...

4... 3...

2...

1..!

TIME UPP!!" A massive beep covered the arena following Present Mic's countdown.

"NOWWW, SHALL WE SEE WHO OUR TOP 5 ARE??

IN FIRST PLACE, TEAM RYOICHI

SECOND PLACE, TEAM TODOROKI

THIRD PLACE, TEAM BAKUGO

FOURTH PLACE, TEAM MIDORIYA

AND FINALLY...

FIFTH PLACE, TEAM SHINSO.

THESE 5 TEAMS WILL NOW STEP FORWARD AS THEY'LL MOVE ON TO THE FINAL EVENT!!" Present Mic announced, and the audience cheered.

The people who stepped forward included: Ryoichi and Juvia, Todoroki, Iida, Kaminari and Momo, Shinso and Aoyama, Hatsume, Izuku, Tokoyami, and Uraraka, Bakugo, Kirishima and Ashido

Because 2 of Shinso's teammates pulled themselves out the final for some reason, they were replaced with Tetsutetsu and Ibara.

And so...

"IT IS NOW TIME FORRRR

Some lunch" Present Mic smiled, "We'll have an hour break for some lunch before the final event takes place, see you then folks!"

.

It was now time for lunch, and the students of class 1-A were all together as they munched on some food and chatted away.

"Man, is there even a point of having the battles?" Kaminari sighed

"I know right, They may aswell say just give Ryoichi the 1st place medal now" Kirishima added, to which the class just laughed.

"Come on guys, I'm not that strong" Ryoichi tried to be humble, to which the class just deadpanned at him, "Uh, forget I said that".

"It's fine guys, we have 3 years at UA! We'll definitely catch up and beat Ryoichi some day!" Iida enthusiastically stated, pumping up the class.

"YEAHH!!" And with that, the class would all train with the goal to catch up to Ryoichi's strength and not be kept behind...

Meanwhile, Todoroki and Izuku were once again talking with one another.

"So... What do you wanna talk about this time?" Izuku asked quietly, kind of scared of Todoroki right now as he was quiet as hell.

"You blindsided me, so much so that I broke my own pledge..." Todoroki raised his left arm as he thought back to the cavalry battle where he used his flames.

"At that moment, I felt something... So I want to ask..."

Izuku gulped

"Are you...

Are you All Might's illegitimate child or something?" Todoroki asked seriously

"...Huh?" Izuku couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"Y-you've got it all wrong!!" He then went on a muttering spree until eventually Todoroki got to the main point of this conversation.

"As you probably know... I'm Endeavor, the number 2 hero's son.

If you're connected to the number 1 hero, then that means I need to win all the more"

He then went on about how his parents went through a "Quirk marriage", and talked about his mother.

"The reason I'm beating you is as a personal triumph. I won't use my father's shitty quirk, or rather...

I'll become the number 1 hero without needing to use it" Todoroki decalred with an ominous glare.

"..." Bakugo, who was near the both of them and eavesdropping, stayed silent as he carried on eavesdropping.

A minute later, the conversation ended with the both of them declaring that they won't lose to each other.

- In the secret pub -

A static TV spoke to Tomura

"So... this is the boy?" It asked with a raspy and dry voice.

"Yes... That's the boy who ruined EVERYTHING!" Tomura cried like a spoilted child who didn't get a toy that he wanted.

"Say... what did you say his quirkS were again?" The TV asked in a curious tone.

"Some type of gravity manipulation, and a quirk similar to Kurogiri where he creates portals" Tomura replied.

"Gravity, you say?... Interesting" Behind the TV was a man with a black mask and many wounds.

"Interesting indeed..." He smirked ominously.
