Chapter 10: Sports Festival Part 3
I need help with quirk training for the UA camp training and after (How to train them)
Quirk 1: Portal Creation
- Max distance: 1km currently
- Max portals created: 2 currently
Needs to work on: Distance and quantity of portals, simple.
Quirk 2: Gravity Manipulation
- Manipulate all forms of gravity (push, pull, weight, etc), but not at the fullest potential (Jack of all trades but master of none)
- Uses a lot of stamina
- Can increase gravity of others to 3x max currently.
Needs to train: Everything bring stronger I guess.
Basically, I need help from you guys: How is the MC actually meant to train his gravity manipulation?
And what should some weaknesses be (for example how Uraraka can only use zero gravity on things below a certain weight)
Please comment how in the paragraph comments above.
Also, what's a valid reason for somebody to get out of MC increasing their gravity ?

With the lunch break over, the students walked back into the arena.
"Hey, where are the girls?" Iida asked, noticing some students, all the girls, were absent.
Mineta and Kaminari, who were walking side by side, side-eyed each other and smirked while giving each other a thumbs up.
"BEFORE WE GET TO THE FINAL EVENT, I'VE GOT GOOD NEWS FOR ALL OF THOSE OUT OF THE RUNNING" Present Mic announced
"AS THIS IS A SPORTS FESTIVAL, WE'VE PREPARED A FEW RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.
WE'VE ALSO SHIPPED SOME CHEERLEADERS FROM AMERICA TO... Wait a minute, what's this?" Present Mic broke out of character
"What the hell am I looking at..." Aizawa said in his usual monotone voice.
"IT SEEMS WE HAVE A FEW LIVELY STUDENTS FROM CLASS 1-A!!" Present Mic said, seeing the girls from 1-A dressed up in cheerleading outfits.
"MINETA! KAMINARI! YOU TRICKED US!!" The girls shouted in complaint towards the two perverts who were smiling in response.
During the lunch break, when Mineta saw the American cheerleaders he had the idea to tell the girls that Aizawa wanted them to be part of the cheerleading team, so Momo used her quirk to create the outfits.
"How'd I let myself get fooled by Mineta..." Momo had her head down depressingly.
"Those idiots..." Jiro snarled whilst blushing in embarrassment.
"Hey, this could be kinda fun!" Hagakure cheered, being one of the two only enthusiastic ones.
The only other one included Juvia: 'This outfit shows a lot to Ryoichi! Juvia hope he looks this way' She thought.
"You know what, Mineta. This one time we'll allow your perverted acts to happen" Kirishima gave a thumbs up as he spoke in a serious tone.
"Agreed, a wonderful sight to see" Ryoichi followed with the same thumbs up.
"Don't allow this, guys! And Mineta, stop your villainous acts!" Iida complained.
"Hey! Kaminari was involved as well!" Mineta said, "If I go down, then HE goes down with me!"
"ONCE THESE EVENTS ARE OVER, OUR FINAL EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE WITH THE REMAINING 17 CONTESTANTS, god I hate when there's an odd number of contestants." Present Mic sighed.
And so, the sub-events went on. It was mainly your everyday team sports such as dodgeball and football (not sOcCeR) that was played for the sake of having fun.
Let's not forget the cheerleading as well... what a sight to see indeed.

"AND HERE WE ARE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT IS TIME FOR THE ONE-ON-ONE BATTLES" A tsunami of cheers from the crowd followed after Present Mic's announcement.
The students, and the girls still in their cheerleading outfit, stood in front of Midnight like all the previous events.
"We'll decide the match ups with lots! Will the 17 contestants step froward and draw!" Midnight said.
And so, the match-ups were as followed:
1st match: Midoriya vs Shinso
2nd match: Todoroki vs Aoyama
3rd match: Ibara vs Kaminari vs Ryoichi
4th match: Iida vs Hatsume
5th match: Ashido vs Juvia
6th match: Tokoyami vs Yaoyorozu
7th match: Tetsutetsu vs Kirishima
8th match: Uraraka vs Bakugo
"Damn, I'm taking part in a triple threat, am I meant to start using chairs and tables now as well?" Ryoichi chuckled to himself.
"Who'd have thought I'd be fighting Todoroki so soon..." Ryoichi heard Izuku mutter.
"Izuku Midoriya, yeah?" Shinso whispered as he walked past, "Don't be so cocky from the beginning".
"I-" Izuku was about to respond until Ojiro silenced him with his tail
"Don't respond, Midoriya. His quirk has something to do with someone replying to his words. Once you reply, you don't remember anything until you snap out of it" Ojiro clenched his teeth as he explained, remembering what happened during the cavalry.
"Thanks for the heads up" Izuku thanked.

"Alright, that about does it" Cementoss patted his hands and signaled to Present Mic.
"ALRIGHT FOLKS! ARE YOU READYYY!? IT TOOK A WHILE BUT IT'S FINALLY TIME FOR THE FINAL EVENT TO BEGINNN!! CAN I GET A YEAHHHH??!"
"YEAHH!" The crowd cheered in response.
"LET'S GO, LOVING THE ENERGY!" Present Mic said
"NOW, ON TO THE FIRST MATCH, MAKING HIS WAY INTO THE ARENA WITH AN ODD FACE, THE BOY WHO'S DONE QUITE A LOT THIS SPORTS FESTIVAL: IZUKU MIDORIYAAA FROM 1-A" The crowd cheered for Izuku as he sheepishly walked into the arena.
"OPPOSITE HIM, WE HAVE, actually he hasn't done that much so, HITOSHI SHINSO FROM GENERAL STUDIES!" The crowd cheered, but with a lot less enthusiasm compared to Izuku's.
"Thanks for the cheers, bastards..." Shinso muttered under his breathe.
"IN YOUR POSITIONS~ 3... 2... 1...
FIGHTTT!!" The match began.
"Hmph, must be nice, right?" Shinso began the match with his words
"All this cheering, all of the things happening to you, being in the hero department...
Must be nice being blessed with such a good quirk to get you all of that" Shinso's words triggered something in Izuku, someone who wasn't 'blessed' with a quirk as Shinso thought
"That's not tru-!" Izuku shouted in response, but suddenly his eyes went into a trance, and he couldn't move his body 'What the hell... why can't I control my body'
"And with that, this match is over~" Shinso announced confidentally as he slowly walked over to the frozen Izuku.
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH MIDORIYA?? HE'S SUDDENLY STOOD STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MATCH AND ISN'T DOING ANYTHING" Present Mic stated the obvious
"Damnit Midoriya, I warned you!" Ojiro sighed as he facepalmed in disappointment.
"Must be nice having everything handed to you... now turn around and walk out of the arena" Shinso ordered.
Izuku turned around and began to walk out of the arena as Shinso had ordered
'What the hell! Why wont't my body listen to me!' Izuku started panicking 'Damnit!Damnitdamnitdamnit!'
"WOAHH! MIDORIYA'S FOLLOWING HIS ORDERS LIKE A DOG!"
'Damn it! Stop moving! I can't lose!' Izuku thought as he was inching closer to the end of the arena.
'Not like this! Everyone's done so much for me!
I can't... lose here!' A black mist appeared in front of Izuku
'What... is that!?' He saw multiple heads of people appear in the mist, which suddenly allowed him to move
'I can move! I can use my-'
"This quirk of mine is like a dream. You, los-" Shinso was cut shortly by a massive burst of wind pushing him back
"WHAT?" He was confused as to why Izuku, who fell under his quirk, was now moving freely in front of him.
Not letting this opportunity go to waste, Izuku ran at Shinso.
"WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT?! MIDORIYA SNAPPED OUT OF IT AND IS NOW GOING AFTER SHINSO!" Present Mic announced.
"You shouldn't have control, what did you do?!" Shinso began to panic as he asked.
Izuku covered his mouth and didn't respond as he kept rushing Shinso.
'Damn it, did he figure it out?' Shinso thought.
"Wow, nothing to say, huh?
Must be feeling great after moving that finger of yours
Thanks to my quirk, I couldn't enter the golden gates! I can't say the same about you though.
YOU PEOPLE... BORN WITH YOUR AWESOME QUIRKS, GETTING TO FOLLOW ALL YOUR DREAMS!!" Shinso began to raise his voice and shout as he panicked from Izuku getting closer and closer.
Izuku grabbed Shinso's shoulders
"Say something already!" He punched Izuku's face.
Unfortunately, that wasn't enough as Izuku threw him out of the arena, flat on his back.
"Shinso is out of the ring! Izuku Midoriya moves on to the next round!" Midnight announced with a swing of her whip.

And so, all the first matches went by, none comparing to the intensity of the first match, other than Bakugo vs Uraraka maybe.
The match ups were as such:
Midoriya vs Todoroki
Ryoichi vs Iida
Juvia vs Tokoyami
Bakugo vs Kirishima

. (A/N: I'm not gonna write the matches jn detail, the manga/anime is there for that)

Man... That first match was crazy. Todoroki and Izuku ended up with Todoroki being the winner.
"Good job you two, that match was awesome!" Ryoichi congratulated the two.
"And Todoroki, has anybody ever told you that you remind then of Zuko from Avatar the last Airbender when you use your flames?" Ryoichi joked
"..." Todoroki deadpanned, and Izuku, who was currently in a hospital bed, laughed along with the rest of the class.
Todoroki ignored Ryoichi's comment still before looking at Izuku
"Midoriya... Thanks" That was all he said before he left the room.
"So, Iida" Ryoichi got his attention "It's our turn now" He smirked
"That's right! I won't go easy on you!" Iida stated, filled with conviction in his eyes as he looked at Ryoichi.
"As you should, after all...
You're gonna need to put yourself in the spotlight for a little while if you wanna get the heroes' attention" Ryoichi replied as he also left the room.
"..." The class were just silent.
"Hey! Was that a dig at me!?" Kaminari complained, remembering how Ryoichi knocked him and Ibara out of the ring in a few seconds.

So I underestimated how long this arc would be, so next part SHOULD be final part... hopefully.
I know story is kinda rushed right now, but after a few more arcs (After the camp arc/S3 arc most likely), the story will slow down a little bit for things to happen, aka romance mainly.
