Chapter 186:- Heart To Heart Talk

"She needs someone Fuyumi, someone who cares for her, I hope you understand," said Izuku as he kissed Fuyumi and left to freshen himself up.

The next day, Rei returned home with a happy smile on her face. As soon as she entered, she hugged Izuku tightly, kissed him on the cheek, and said, "Thanks to you, I slept very peacefully yesterday."

Eri, seeing Rei, ran towards her, calling, "Mommyyyyy!" and hugged her tightly.

Rei picked Eri up and hugged her back, saying, "How are you, my beautiful daughter?"

Eri giggled and hugged her even tighter.

Kaina, who had run behind Eri, scolded her gently, "Eri, you shouldn't run away while eating. It's disrespectful to the food. Come, finish your food and have a bath first, then you can play with her all you want. She isn't going anywhere."

"No, I want to play with Mom," Eri protested.

Izuku intervened, lifting Eri onto his shoulders. "No, Eri. Go finish your food first. Your mom and big sister Fuyumi need to talk about something. By the time they finish, you can have your breakfast and bath, okay?"

"Okay, big brother. I'll finish the food and have a bath. Then you both will play with me, right?" Eri asked.

"Yes, Eri, we will play with you," both Izuku and Rei said at the same time, making Eri giggle and nod as she went with Kaina.

"Make sure to apologize to the food for running away," Izuku called after her.

"Yes!" Eri replied.

Izuku turned to Rei. "Rei-san, Fuyumi is in that room. I told her what happened yesterday between us."

Rei flinched, remembering that Izuku was Fuyumi's man. She started to tense up.

"Don't worry, she isn't angry with you. Go have a talk with her," Izuku assured her.

Rei nodded, realizing that this conversation was bound to happen someday. The earlier, the better. She felt grateful that Izuku had decided not to hide anything from Fuyumi, even if what they had done could be considered forbidden.

Rei walked to the room and opened the door to find Fuyumi sitting on the bed. Fuyumi looked up and smiled gently. "Mom, come in."

Rei stepped inside, closing the door behind her. "Fuyumi, I... I need to apologize. I shouldn't have kissed Izuku, knowing he is your future husband. I'm so sorry." Tears welled up in her eyes as she spoke.

Fuyumi stood up and hugged her mother tightly. "Mom, there's nothing to be sorry about. I understand your pain now, and I'm sorry I couldn't see it before. I should have been there for you, and I'm sorry for not doing anything to comfort you earlier, even when I'm your daughter." She began to cry, her shoulders shaking.

Rei hugged her back, tears streaming down her face. "You don't need to apologize for anything, Fuyumi. I know you were worried about Izuku and trying to hold the family together. I understand. There's no need to apologize."

"Still mom, I shouldn't have been so neglectful to you, I made you suffer all alone, I should have comforted you as well, just like you did to me," saying that Fuyumi started crying in Rei's embrace.

"I'm really glad that Izuku could see your pain and comfort you, now you don't have to suffer alone, you can always come to me or him, whoever you feel comfortable with and share whatever you are suffering from.

I'm here for you mom, I care for you, and I'll always be with you mom" said Fuyumi as the duo had tears in their eyes as they hugged each other once again tighter than ever.

They held each other for a moment longer, sharing their pain and forgiveness. Then Rei pulled back slightly and said, "I had a big fight with Enji yesterday. I told him I won't let him control me anymore."

Fuyumi's eyes widened. "Really? What did he say?"

Rei chuckled, her mood lightening. "He was so shocked he couldn't say anything. His face was priceless.

He didn't know what hit him. Well it was bound to happen because he saw me kiss Izuku that too right in front of our house" Rei said as she stuck her tongue out in naughtiness.

"Damn mom, you have guts, you kissed Izuku right in front of our house, even dad saw it…he must have been burning like crazy," giggled Fuyumi.

"You ask, he was burning like crazy," said Rei giggling.

"Then who started the fight?" Asked Fuyumi.

"He did, all of a sudden he started caring about me, asking why I kissed him and whether I was cheating on him or not, he acting so cocky snapped me, I couldn't handle it and lashed at him, how dare he act like he owned me, when he hadn't looked at me even once as his wife.

I was so angry by his comment that I lashed out at him, maybe it was the kiss that I shared with Izuku, that was filled with love that gave me the strength to fight for what I want, or maybe it was because I had enough of Enji that I lashed out, well I'm not sure but yes, I had enough so I gave him a piece of my mind, for everything he did to me uptill now.

How could he act like that? I was even bold enough to openly say I would kiss Izuku, even sleep with him, to Enji, and he was all stunned, unable to say anything at all," said Rei as she giggled a lot.

Fuyumi laughed, a genuine, relieved sound. "I can imagine! He must have been stunned." Said Fuyumi as the mention of sleeping with Izuku caused Fuyumi's smile to falter for a second, something which Rei noticed.

They laughed together, the tension easing between them. After a moment, Rei took a deep breath, deciding to finish it once and for all. "Fuyumi, I think I have developed feelings for Izuku as well. But I will only be with him if you approve and are comfortable with it."

Rei's heart pounded as she waited for Fuyumi's response. She knew that if Fuyumi was uncomfortable with sharing Izuku, she would forget about him. Her daughter's happiness was more important than her own. If Fuyumi was happy, then Rei would be happy too. Besides, she still had Eri, who brought joy and comfort to her life.

Fuyumi's mind raced with thoughts. She knew her mother might be thinking about sacrificing her happiness for her. The realization hit her hard. She thought about how Izuku had been able to see through her mother's sadness and comfort her when she needed it the most. If Izuku could bring her mother happiness, what was wrong with that?

Fuyumi thought about how she almost lost her mother and how Rei's suffering would have gone unnoticed if Izuku hadn't stepped in. She remembered how her mother had been suffering since before her birth, never experiencing true happiness. Did she have the right to be selfish now that her mother finally had someone who made her feel loved and cherished?

Fuyumi took a deep breath and looked at her mother. "Mom, if being with Izuku makes you happy, then I'm willing to share him with you. You deserve to be happy too. You've suffered for so long, and you deserve someone who loves you and makes you feel special."

Rei's eyes filled with tears. "Fuyumi, are you sure? Your happiness means everything to me."

Fuyumi nodded, tears welling up in her own eyes. "Yes, Mom. I'm sure. Izuku saw your pain and helped you when no one else did. If he can make you happy, then I'm happy too."

Rei hugged her daughter tightly, both of them crying and sharing their emotions. "Thank you, Fuyumi. I promise I'll always be here for you, and we'll make this work together."

Eri suddenly barged into the room, pulling on Rei's arm. "Mommy, come play with me!"

Behind her came Kaina as she said, "Eri, you shouldn't barge into someone's room without knocking, it's considered bad manners, are you a bad girl?" Asked Kaina, who had started teaching her manners and other things.

"No, I'm not a bad girl, I'm sorry!" Said Eri with a puppy face as she almost had tears in her eyes.

"Good girl, now don't do this again okay?" said Kaina as she caressed Eri's hair.

Eri nodded as she held Rei's finger and started pulling her.

Rei smiled through her tears and let Eri lead her out of the room, her heart lighter than it had been in years. She knew there were still challenges ahead, but for the first time in a long time, she felt hopeful about the future.

As they left the room, Fuyumi watched them, a small smile on her face. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but seeing her mother happy was worth everything.
