After their bath, Momo and Maki played with Eri, their laughter mixing with Eri's giggles as they built a colorful tower of blocks.
Izuku watched them, his heart warm with happiness seeing Eri smile. The room was filled with joy, a sharp contrast to the dark, scary place Eri had come from.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Kaina got up to answer it, while Momo and Maki continued to play with Eri. When Kaina opened the door, she found Fuyumi standing there, looking slightly surprised.
"Fuyumi! Hi, come in," Kaina said with a welcoming smile.
However, Fuyumi hesitated for a moment. Seeing Kaina, Momo, and Maki all in Izuku's home made her heart ache a little. She couldn't help but feel like she had lost something important because she didn't realize her feelings for Izuku until now. But she quickly pushed that feeling away when Izuku appeared beside Kaina, smiling warmly.
"Fuyumi! Thanks for coming so early in the morning," Izuku said, his eyes bright with happiness. "Come on in."
"Who's she," asked Fuyumi, wondering where this child came from.
"Ohhh her, well she's mine and Kaina's daughter," said Izuku nonchalantly.
Listening to this Kaina had a blush on her face, while Fuyumi halted on her steps, shocked by the revelation.
That's when Eri came running towards Izuku saying, "Daddy play with me Daddy, mommy you too," as she held Izuku's and Kaina's arms and tried pulling them inside the room.
"Yes, yes, Daddy and Mommy will come to play with you in a moment, till then you play with them." Said Izuku.
"N-N-Nee I-I-I-Izuku Kun, when did you get a daughter?" asked Fuyumi, her voice trembling.
"Around 6 years ago I suppose, I don't remember the exact date when I got Kaina pregnant," said Izuku, acting to think of the date.
"Don't fuck with me, you said you meet Kaina just a year ago….how did you get her pregnant 6 years ago," Fuyumi lashed out, not buying the bullshit Izuku was spewing.
"Hahahha, look at your face Fuyumi, you actually bought that even when you knew I met Kaina just a year ago," laughed Izuku while Kaina being the eldest among them, simply patted Fuyumi's back consoling her.
"Don't worry, you'll get used to it, he has a habit of doing this," said Kaina as she simply sighed.
"Don't worry she isn't my daughter, but yes, she is going to stay with me from now on," said Izuku.
"Then why did she call you daddy and her mommy?" Asked Fuyumi.
"Well because I told her to call me that," said Izuku while trying to contain his laughter.
"When?" asked Fuyumi.
"When you asked who she was," said Izuku.
"But I didn't see you telling her to do so," asked Fuyumi, being very cautious.
"I'll explain it to you later, you want all the answers at the door, are you not going to come in?" Asked Izuku.
Fuyumi hesitated for a second.
"Don't worry, she's not my daughter, just look at her hair, me and Kaina both have green and purple hair, while she has greyish white, she looks more like your and my daughter," said Izuku which made Fuyumi blush.
Fuyumi smiled back, trying to calm herself down while shaking off the strange satisfaction she had knowing Eri wasn't Izuku's daughter, while she also felt a sudden warm tingling sensation when he said Eri looked more like her and Izuku's daughter, she simply said, "Thanks, Izuku." As she entered the house.
Izuku led her to the living room, where Eri was playing happily with Momo and Maki. Fuyumi's heart softened at the sight of the little girl. Eri looked so innocent and fragile, yet there was a sadness in her eyes that no child should have.
Izuku knelt down beside Eri. "Eri, this is Fuyumi. She's a very nice person, and she's going to be one of your big sisters too."
Eri looked up at Fuyumi with wide, curious eyes. "Big sister Fuyumi? Yayyy I got one more big sis, you will play with me right?" Eri asked as she looked at Fuyumi with her small eyes.
Fuyumi knelt to Eri's level, smiling gently. "Yes, Eri. We'll play a lot, and I'll help take care of you, just like your other big sisters."
Eri's eyes lit up with a shy smile. "Thank you, big sister Fuyumi." As she hugged Fuyumi and went to play with Kaina, Maki, and Momo.
Izuku sat down on the floor next to them. "Fuyumi, there's something you need to know about Eri. She's been through a lot."
Fuyumi looked at Izuku, her expression turning serious. "What happened to her, Izuku?"
Izuku took a deep breath. "Eri was trapped in a dark basement, treated very badly by a man who wanted to use her quirk for his own purposes.
She's only six years old, and yet she was subjected to brutal torture and experimentation something I'd rather not explain, simply put she's been through too much that her heart is filled with pain and fear."
Fuyumi's eyes filled with tears as she looked at Eri, who was now playing with a toy in Momo's lap. "That's horrible," she whispered, her voice breaking. "No child should have to go through that."
Izuku nodded, his eyes sad. "Yes, it's heartbreaking. Something I wish I had known earlier, I would have saved her earlier. But she's safe now, and I'm going to make sure she has a happy life, with not a single moment of sadness in her life, so rather than sending her to an orphanage, I have decided to raise her with me."
Fuyumi wiped her eyes, feeling a rush of admiration for Izuku and a deep sense of responsibility for Eri. "I understand I'll help you however I can. She deserves to be happy and loved."
Izuku smiled gently. "That's exactly why I called you. I'll make sure to always be with her, but at times like when I'm at school or doing some vigilante work when I'm far, I want you and Kaina to look after her.
Since Kaina has gotten her revenge, she's going to stay home until there's something I need her help with, so she's going to always be with Eri, but I want her to have you as well so that she doesn't feel completely lonely.
And with your and Kaina's quirk, I'm sure you guys can protect her if something happens.
And I'm not joking when I said I won't let her have a single moment of sadness from now on, if she even has as small as a scratch anywhere on her, I'll burn this whole city, down to the very core, I'll make this city a no man's land, I won't allow anyone to scare her, let alone hurt her." Said Izuku in a serious tone.
Fuyumi could feel the heat coming out of Izuku as he said those words, she could feel Izuku meant every single word he said if something happened to her, he would actually burn the city down, this determination made Fuyumi gulp as she said, "Don't worry, I'll make sure to protect her, even at the cost of my own life."
"That's where you are wrong, you guys are equally important to me, you need to protect her while also making sure you are okay, what I actually mean is, you need to be willing to kill if push comes to shove," said Izuku as he knew Fuyumi hadn't killed anyone and wouldn't be able to, unlike others who have either killed someone already or are willing to if needed.
Momo and Maki, who had been listening, nodded, thinking, "I'll kill anyone who hurts my cute little sister."
They both had the same thoughts and were equally willing to make anyone who hurt Eri go through hell countless times.
Eri looked up at them, her eyes filled with hope. "I'm really going to stay with you?" she asked, her voice small and uncertain.
Izuku nodded, his smile warm. "Yes, Eri. You're my little sister and no one will take you away from me. You don't have to be scared anymore."
Maki hugged Eri, making her giggle. "You have so many big sisters now, and we're all going to take care of you play a lot."
Eri looked at each of them, her heart filling with a warmth she had never felt before. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Fuyumi smiled, feeling a sense of peace. "You're going to have so much fun with us, Eri. We're going to make sure you're so happy that your tummy hurts."
Seeing Eri smile, Izuku said, "I'll protect you even at the cost of this world," however Eri was so busy playing that she didn't hear what Izuku said.
While the others listened to Izuku and nodded, showing they agreed with his words and shared his feelings, Fuyumi felt a strange fear growing inside her. Kaina, Maki, and Momo all looked determined, ready to support whatever Izuku planned. But Fuyumi, standing a bit apart, felt a cold shiver down her back.
She looked at Izuku, who was once the kind-hearted boy she knew, but now had a firm and serious look in his eyes. She realized he wasn't the same as before. He was ready to do what he thought was right, no matter what anyone else said. This scared her because she knew he would follow his plan without listening to anyone.
Fuyumi's thoughts were racing. "Izuku will really do it. He won't listen to anyone, not even me," she thought, her heart beating fast. She realized that if she tried to stop him, she might lose him forever. The fear of losing him, especially now that she understood her own feelings, made her feel cold inside.
"I can't be away from him," she thought, tears filling her eyes. "I love him. But if I try to stop him, he might never forgive me. I can't bear to lose him."
Fuyumi clenched her hands into fists, feeling torn between her fear of what Izuku might do and her deep need to stay close to him. She made a resolute expression as she said, "No, I'll stay by his side, I love him, and won't lose him, as far as what Izuku said, I'll simply make sure that scenario never comes.
Yes, I'll make sure to protect Eri, so that such a scenario never comes," said Fuyumi with determined eyes.
"Okay Eri, after you're done playing we will go to buy you new clothes and toys," said Izuku
