Mission Promposal

ALEC

I walked back to our table plopping down onto my chair as my legs finally gave in. Holy shit. I've never been this nervous before. "So, did you ask her to meet you?" Nat asked. "Yep." I replied. "LET'S GO. HOW ARE YOU GONNA ASK HER OUT?" Nat inquired, obliterating my ears. "I don't know, just ask her normally I guess?" There was a moment of silence on the table. "Okay boys, he's a lost case. Cancel all your after school plans, we're having a meeting. Aryan?" Nat looked at Aryan. "Booked the karaoke room." Aryan said, holding his phone up. "I'll get the white board." Parker announced. "Snacks on me." Flynn declared. "Guys-" I tried to talk but Nat interrupted me, grabbing my phone. "Shut it lover boy. 05081990, easy." Nathan somehow unlocked my phone in a few seconds. "Why do you know my password?" I asked, trying to get my phone back. Nathan pulled the phone away from me and started typing something. "Sofie's birthday, easy guess you know." This pipsqueak. "Why do you even know her birthday? Give me my phone back." I tried to grab my phone when he plopped it back in my hands. "And done." Nathan leaned back on his chair. He had sent a text to Sofie saying "Hey Sof, sorry, can't meet you front in the yard today, daddy Nathan needs me for some very special work." I wanted to kill Nathan but decided against it. I mean it gets the work done I guess? I sent a quick text to Sofie saying it was Nathan using my phone but I really wouldn't be able to meet her. "Welp, then it's settled. March to class boys." Saying this, Nathan and the others left.

After class, the boys dragged me to the karaoke room that Aryan had somehow arranged online. Parker grabbed a white board on his way out from his locker. No idea why he has that. Flynn funded heaps of snacks and I guess Nat did the part of, well, being Nat. We all sat down. Nat took a marker and a teaching stick out from somewhere and wrote "Lover boy's promposal" on the board. "Okay, does anyone have any good ideas on our topic?" Nat asked. I rose my hand. "Yes Alec?" Talk about formal. "Can I just ask her out normally?" I asked in reply. "From now on, no opinions will be taken from Alec." Well, there go my talking rights. For another hour, the boys discussed and planned my promposal, which by the way, I got no say in. They finally came up with a plan they were happy with. "Alright boys, good work today. Meeting dismissed. Alec, you're coming with me. " Nathan commanded. On call, Aryan, Parker and Flynn marched out of the room. "Nat where are we going- Why do you have a megaphone?" I asked as Nathan pulled a megaphone out of somewhere. I sometimes wonder if this guy has a personal doraemon's pocket. "Irrelevant. We're going to Sofie's." Nathan practically dragged me out before I could even say anything.
