Ch. 65 - The Middle Finger

"Thank you, Doffy. For everything." After Natalya was done reuniting with her children, excluding Pietro as he was still asleep, it was time for her to give her thanks to Doflamingo.

"You know it's fine right? As the head of the family, I need to do my best to make sure all my family members and their loved ones stays safe, you have my word." Doflamingo said before flashing a warm smile to her.

"That's nice to hear. By the way, think something happened to my children." Natalya replied to what he said before speaking in a worried tone.

"What do you mean? From what I see they look completely fine." Doflamingo tilted his head in confusion as he asked.

"No, earlier I was planning on how to talk to her to convince her that I'm her mother but I was surprised when Wanda remembers that I'm her mother and earlier, she told me that she dreamed of her memories when she was still a baby which is impossible as you know, she's still a baby." Natalya said, which is indeed weird but not weird enough since maybe she has just a Hyperthymesia or something.

Still, something did happened to her as Doflamingo doesn't remember Wanda having this in the MCU movies.

"I'll check up on her later, okay?" Doflamingo assured her.

Natalya nodded and gave her daughter one last look.

"That bitch is dead?" Inside a fancy office, a man with facial features was drinking wine while in front of him is a familiar Hand ninja.

"Yes, Bakuto-sama." The ninja said with his head facing down.

"Finally, and who killed her?" Bakuto smirked in victory and then asked.

"It's the Joker, Bakuto-sama." The ninja answered.

"Oh? The Joker? I thought he would be a hinder to my plans but I didn't expect him to be the person to help me. I want to meet this man, arrange me a schedule with him. He is a valuable asset to my faction." Bakuto said before drinking all of the wine and poured himself another one.

"Understood, Bakuto-sama. Please excuse me." The ninja then bowed his head once more before leaving the room in a ninja manner, which by jumping off the window.

"Joker huh? Finally, a worthy man who caught my attention." Bakuto whispered with a strange but dangerous glint on his eyes.

"We'll meet soon, Joker."

"Chikara Dojo? What's this, are we gonna learn some Kung-Fu? No thanks, I'll pass. I think my powers are strong enough to protect me." Doflamingo and Matilda was standing in front of a dojo with Matilda having a bored look on her face.

Doflamingo told her that they would go to an interesting place and she didn't expect it to be a dojo.

"That's what you might think at first but we're here to meet someone so we could go to an interesting place." Doflamingo said and by that he was referring to Coleen Wing who would lead them to the Hand's base of operations.

He doesn't know much about the Hand and such but he knew that there are more than just Madame Gao and Coleen Wing is the best person to know more about the Hand.

"Let's go inside." Doflamingo said as he and Matilda opened the door and was met with a familiar ninja clad in black talking with a beautiful woman.

"Speak of the devil." Doflamingo said which made the ninja and Coleen to turn their attention to them.

"The Joker." The ninja whispered as he continued.

"Good timing, Bakuta-sama wanted to have a meeting with you. I was just about to find you." The ninja said as Doflamingo squinted his eyes at the ninja.

"Well, I also wanted to have a meeting with the Hand, so fine lead the way." Doflamingo said with a smile.

Meanwhile, Coleen looked at him weirdly as if she was thinking that Doflamingo must be an idiot

As they arrived in an office, Doflamingo was met with a black haired man with a slightly trimmed beard, sitting on a chair.

"Ah, that was sooner than I expected, come sit, Mr. Joker. I've been wanting to meet you." Bakuto politely offered him to sit on the chair in front of him.

"I have some seriously private matters to talk with you so perhaps your companion could wait us outside?" Bakuto glanced at Matilda and said.

"That's no problem." Doflamingo turned around and said while giving Matilda wink.

Matilda sighed in annoyance before she walked out of the office.

"With that settled, please make yourself at home." Bakuto said while pouring wine to a glass and presented it in front of Doflamingo.

However, Doflamingo's attention was somewhere else. He's currently looking at the weapon displays around the office. There are many kinds of weapons inside, a Katana, an Axe, Hammer, Shurikens and many more.

Noticing Doflamingo's attention, Bakuto smiled and introduced the weapons around the office.

"Those are my collections. I'm kind of a weapons specialists."

"Really? I think I've seen some of those being used against me by the Hand, quite fascinating to see some of them here." Doflamingo scratched his chin and said.

Bakuto's face twitched before morphing back to his kind persona.

"T-Those are certainly not from my Faction, probably from Madame Gao's." Bakuto decided to push the blame to a poor old woman, trying to make himself innocent.

"I see. Good thing she's dead." Doflamingo said which earned a smile from Bakuto.

"Yes! You are very much right, that old woman should have been dead a long time ago. Now, there's 1 less evil person from this earth, thanks to you." Bakuto said and praised Doflamingo, trying to get in his good books, which Doflamingo noticed and can't help but chuckle.

"You know you can drop the persona, right? I know wh you truly are." Doflamingo said.

"W-what do you mean? This is me. The true me, you must've misunderstand." Bakuto tried his best to keep up with this persona, which became annoying to Doflamingo.

"I said, I know who you truly are." Doflamingo said before snatching a shuriken beside him and threw it towards Bakuto with just a half of his strength.

*Clang!*

The shuriken blew past Bakuto's cheeks which drew a line of blood before stabbing itself to the wall.

"Next time I won't miss." Doflamingo squinted his eyes at him and said.

Bakuto gulped in fear as he realized that Doflamingo isn't a normal person.

"What do you want?" Bakuto said as Doflamingo's stunt just shocked him and made him realize that Doflamingo must've knew about him long before he walk in his office which made him wonder why would he still enter the office, knowing that he's not a good person.

"Simple. I want the Hand. The entirety of the Hand." Doflamingo said which shocked Bakuto, greatly.

"That's impossible! The Hand is much more bigger than you expected and even with my help, you can't technically become the Head of the Hand!" Bakuto yelled and said to him.

"Hmm.... Alright, how about this. You arrange a meeting with all the Toes in this exact place and by tomorrow morning, I want you and all the other Toes to be here." Doflamingo said before showing him a set of number of coordinates.

"Toes?" However, Bakuto's attention was somewhere else.

"....I mean the Fingers." Doflamingo corrected himself without changing expression.

"...Yes. I'll get it done by tomorrow." Bakuto decided to follow what he said for now. His Katana is far from his reach and he doesn't know how fast Doflamingo is if he attempted to snatch the Katana and fight back.

"Good." Doflamingo fixed his clothes after he stood up before proceeding to leave the office.

"Oh and by the way." Just when Bakuto was about to sigh in relief, Doflamingo stopped and turned back.

"You're the Middle finger, right?" Doflamingo asked which drew confusion from Bakuto.

"What?"

"Gao is the Index finger and you're the Middle finger so on and so forth with the rest of the Fingers, right?" Doflamingo asked.

"...We haven't really thought of that." Bakuto said, feeling a bit offended from Doflamingo's question.

"Oh well, just a food for thought." Doflamingo shrugged his shoulders before leaving the office.

Bakuto's expression slowly morphed into an angry one as he whispered.

"I won't forget this humiliation!" Bakuto clenched his fist as he glared at the door where Doflamingo exited.

"How's the meeting?" After walking out of the building, Matilda who has been bored for almost an hour, asked Doflamingo.

"The meeting went good. By the time of tomorrow morning, I'll bring you with me to take over the Hand." Doflamingo said to her.

"And how would you do that? As far as I know Hand isn't exactly an organization that you could take over with force." Matilda said which earned a smirk from Doflamingo.

"Exactly, that's why you are coming with me." Doflamingo pointed at her and said.

"Wha-?" Matilda suddenly realized Doflamingo's plan.

"You want me to brainwash the current leaders?" Matilda said with an unconfident expression.

"I haven't exactly dweddled that much with memories, so I'm not sure whether I can do it or not." She continued.

"First of all, we won't be brainwashing the leaders, the goons are. I don't want to split my power over the Hand with them, I want full control over the Hand and lastly, you won't be alone in the brainwashing, you have me." Doflamingo said before confidently pointing to himself.

"Since you've said that then there's no reason for me to be troubled on this."
