Marvel: The Foundation

The MCU is already a perilous realm, fraught with danger at every turn. But for a crimelord like myself, it's a whole other level of risk, especially with heroes lurking around every corner. And if that weren't daunting enough, now I have to contend with the added uncertainty of encountering at least one completely random SCP every month. How many of these anomalies would it take to trigger an XK-class event? Well, here's hoping I get some favorable ones, allowing me not only to survive but also to flourish in this treacherous environment.

Alexander’s thoughts on the deal -213

Alexander had been watched the deal between O5-6 and Nick Fury with his thought projection. The information Fury had been given wasn't something that had been handed over to him carelessly; it had all been planned out by the entire present O5 council.

Every object and every detail, every damn word, had been carefully picked to ensure that they didn't give away too much but still gave him enough that he would be satisfied yet still wanting more.

Furthermore, many of the objects he had been given information about were ones he already had some idea about their existence, and as such, giving him a bit of information didn't hurt all that badly.

A few, such as SCP-610, he likely didn't know anything about, and while it was risky to tell him about such a dangerous one, Alexander and the rest of the council didn't believe either he or Hydra would be foolish enough to try to spread that particular trouble around.

So, there wasn't much danger in giving out some information; if anything, it would only end up as a boon since Fury would likely want to set up his own perimeter around the current location of the outbreak. He would likely have to go further out, making a final line of defense in case the Foundation failed.

It was unlikely they would, and he doubted anything Fury and Shield might put up would do little to hold it back if it would overcome the Foundation, but it might slow it down enough that they could try to stop it once again or at least nuke the place completely.

After all, few things could withstand the sheer heat generated by a nuclear explosion, which reached temperatures hotter than the core of the sun. It should vaporize the flesh that hates so utterly that there would be nothing for the shockwave to spread around.

However, it would need a large barrage of dozen, if not hundreds, of bombs to ensure that nothing survived to be spread around on the blastwaves, which was the reason they hadn't already done so. The risk was simply too high if using fewer, and using that many was far too big of a deal for something that was currently held back.

The information about the Chaos insurgency was also carefully rewritten to avoid it containing anything that might give Fury too big of a picture of what was going on. In truth, none of the information could possibly reveal the truth, as not even the Foundation itself outside of the O5 council knew the truth.

No, some of the details had been added from the already fake information to instead leave some clues to Hydra. Hopefully, it might allow for Fury to weed out a few Hydra agents that Natasha had found. The fewer of those around in Shield, the more valuable that organization was to Alexander and the rest.

After all, while doing a truly terrible job, their goal was still to protect the world, and as such, they could be used to deal with a few lesser threats or to take up the expense of monitoring and dealing with events about such SCPs like 1440.

The council had planned a few such trades at this and had already prepared the information to be given in each case, though that could be altered as needed by mostly adding on an extra bit about any particular objects they might want to have Shield deal with.

This decision hadn't come about easily, many were against the idea of telling anyone anything. Wanting to keep as much information to themselves as possible and even deal with Shield entirely. However, it was difficult to do so.

And would likely require a large amount of resources and losses to deal with. Since it would annoy many a nation around the world. They would need to either stay happy or put themselves in their place, something they don't have the available and free resources to do right now.

Having a partner organization like Shield was still better than the GOC, yet even the GOC had been a necessary evil, as it had been able to pull more resources from the word nations to deal with SCP objects.

And while the Foundation would have liked those to enter their own hands instead, it was unlikely that it would ever happen unless they took control, either publicly or from the shadows.

No, while a few of they were still wishing for that plan, it was also not something that they could do without the full might of the Foundation, which would likely come with the other councilors many of whom didn't agree with that plan.

It was annoying that the best time for going through with the plan would likely be over by the time they had the ability to put in into action, but hopefully this new world would offer the opportunity.

Alexander was brought out of his thoughts by a high-priority notification from a level 4 SITE director. These were likely all SITE directors, as few didn't have that rank. But the fact that this notification had landed in front of him at such a level meant that it was likely important.

Priority Alert: Object-7905 Detected

From: Dr. Elara Niven, Site Director

To: O5 Council

Subject: Discovery and Initial Containment of Object-7905

Overview:

We have located and preliminarily contained Object-7905 in the remote region of the Amazon rainforest in South America. Initial reports indicate anomalous activity consistent with the object's known behavior and threat profile. Object-7905's current manifestation has shown a significant increase in intensity compared to previous encounters.

Details:

Location: 3° S, 60° W, deep within the Amazon rainforest.

Anomalous Activity: Object-7905 exhibits reality-altering capabilities, including localized spatial distortions and temporal anomalies. The immediate area around the object has become highly unstable, with rapid shifts in the landscape and time anomalies.

Containment Status: Temporary containment measures are in place, but the current situation remains highly volatile. A specialized containment team has been deployed, and they are working to stabilize the area.

Recommendations: Immediate attention and reinforcement are required to establish a secure perimeter and implement more permanent containment solutions.

Action Required:

We request the immediate deployment of additional containment specialists and resources to ensure that Object-7905 does not breach containment. The current team is working under extreme conditions and may not be able to sustain the temporary measures for long. An O5 council member's oversight and strategic direction would be invaluable at this stage.

This object was of great interest to Alexander; SCP-7905 was one of the later SCP objects available in the SCP Database and not a well-known one, even in the higher leveled universe from which the SCP universe existed as an unlive collection of stories.

But For Alexander it was a highly interesting one, for it held the key to verify some information. He was currently working with a theory for how the universe, multiverse, and omniverse worked based on his own information from SCP objects and knowledge gained doing the transfer to this universe where he seemingly merged with another soul.

SCP-7905 held the ability to try and verify something; the SCP object was a gateway to another world, a possible parallel universe, something to which the Foundation was no stranger.

Plenty of SCPs were gateways like that, but SCP-7905 was special even among those. It wasn't too dangerous, it wasn't difficult to enter, and the world was rather similar while still being largely different.

The world over there had mostly been overrun by some deer like SCP objects that had escaped containment by that world's version of the SCP Foundation. However, that Foundation was far weaker than his own, which was due to that world holding very few SCP objects, and even then, the most dangerous ones, there was nothing special.

They were a far cry from things such as the scarlet king or even the little witch, fuck even the shy guy was more dangerous then the worst that world had to offer, and as such it was a really nice world, perfect for the Foundation to take control of and gain a massive amount of resources.

But more so, he was interested in knowing if the world had remained the same, or if it had been changed for a new version of the Marvel earth. If that was the case it was still a highly valuable SCP and it would help to verify some if his current ideas and theories.

Even if it would likely be more difficult to capture the world if it weren't overrun by monsters with little ability to fight back.

"Now then, I can't send Ghost since they are still busy, which means I need another team… and I just so happen to have some people who want to field experience." He said, grinning as he remembered Steve and his group having become restless, not to mention even Bruce Banner wanted to test the Hulk out in the field.
