Marvel: The Foundation

The MCU is already a perilous realm, fraught with danger at every turn. But for a crimelord like myself, it's a whole other level of risk, especially with heroes lurking around every corner. And if that weren't daunting enough, now I have to contend with the added uncertainty of encountering at least one completely random SCP every month. How many of these anomalies would it take to trigger an XK-class event? Well, here's hoping I get some favorable ones, allowing me not only to survive but also to flourish in this treacherous environment.

A Meeting of head’s 2 -170

SCP-5151, known as the Black Knight, moved through the shadows with an eerie grace, his armor gleaming dimly in the scant light of the Hydra facility. The corridors were silent, save for the distant hum of machinery and the occasional murmur of Hydra operatives, oblivious to the doom that approached.

The Black Knight's mind was singularly focused on his mission: eradicate those deemed dishonorable. Hydra, with its history of treachery and malice, fit this criterion perfectly. He had hunted many such groups across dimensions, but Hydra presented a unique challenge due to their advanced technology and ruthless tactics. Yet, none of their defenses could halt his ethereal advance.

He phased through the first blast door without a sound, his form slipping through the reinforced metal as if it were mere air. On the other side, two Hydra guards stood watch, their expressions bored. They never saw him coming. With lightning speed, SCP-5151 drove his spectral blade into their hearts, draining their life force before they could utter a cry. Their bodies slumped to the ground, pale and lifeless, their essence absorbed into his dark armor.

He moved deeper into the facility, encountering more resistance. Alarm klaxons blared, and Hydra operatives scrambled to their positions, unleashing a hail of bullets. But the Black Knight was untouchable. He weaved through the storm of gunfire, his armor deflecting the few rounds that struck true. Each time he swung his sword, another life was extinguished, another body added to the growing tally of the dead.

The corridors bore the marks of intense combat—bullet holes riddling the walls, shell casings scattered across the floor, and overturned furniture. Yet, SCP-5151 moved with unerring precision, navigating the maze-like facility as if guided by an unseen hand. His ability to phase through barriers rendered Hydra's intricate network of traps and defenses useless.

In the central control room, the heart of the facility, a group of high-ranking Hydra officers were desperately coordinating their defenses. The Black Knight could sense their fear, their dishonor. He relished the moment, drawing power from their terror.

As he approached, the officers attempted to seal themselves in, activating the blast doors and security measures. But SCP-5151 merely walked through them, emerging into the room like a wraith. Panic erupted as the officers drew their weapons, but their efforts were futile. One by one, they fell, their lifeblood drained by the Black Knight's unyielding blade.

Among the dead, he found Dr. Fischer, the facility's commander. The man who had tried in vain to organize a defense against him. Fischer's eyes widened in recognition as SCP-5151 stood over him.

"Who... what are you?" Fischer gasped, his voice trembling with fear.

"I am your judgment," SCP-5151 intoned, his voice a deep, resonant echo. "You and your kind are deemed dishonorable. For that, you must pay the price."

With a swift, final strike, Fischer's life was ended. The Black Knight stood amidst the carnage, his mission complete. The facility was silent now, save for the distant hum of the machinery and the soft, fading echoes of the fallen.

He turned to the central computer console, its screens flickering with data. He was not interested in the information itself but in ensuring that Hydra's operations were thoroughly crippled. With a sweep of his hand, he sent a pulse of dark energy into the system, corrupting and disabling their communications and records.

As he phased through the outer walls of the facility, SCP-5151 felt a sense of grim satisfaction. This was just one more step in his endless crusade. Hydra, for all its cunning and power, was no match for his relentless justice.

The Black Knight vanished into the night, leaving behind a scene of death and destruction, a stark reminder of the cost of dishonor. His work was far from over, but for now, the ghostly figure melted away, ready to emerge again wherever dishonor reared its head.

---------------

With the situation being as critical as it was, Baron Wolfgang von Struckers's meeting with the other heads of Hydra didn't take long to commence. Like most other meetings, it was held online, using highly secure channels to ensure their privacy.

The virtual meeting room was shrouded in darkness, the only illumination coming from the dim, flickering lights that cast shadows over the faces of the Hydra leaders. Each participant appeared as a silhouette, their features obscured to maintain secrecy. The atmosphere was thick with tension, a palpable sense of urgency hanging in the air.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, the person who called this meeting was also the one who, initiated the meeting. His voice was a low, authoritative growl that demanded attention. "Gentlemen, our situation has become untenable. We are under siege from multiple fronts, and our strongholds are falling with alarming frequency."

The next to speak was Alexander Pierce, the nominal head of Hydra. "Since you bothered to call this meeting, I assume that you have something important to share; after all, we are already all aware of the grim nature of these attacks."

The others all murmured in agreement, hoping to get some proper information to act upon finally. It had been one thing for the Mandarin to start attacking their facilities and affiliates, fully forcing them to withdraw from Asia.

And it was another thing entirely to have their strongholds and facilities across Europe taken down one by one without any information at all.

Baron Wolfgang von Strucker nodded, his expression grave. "Indeed, Pierce, I do have vital information. The recent attacks on our European facilities have all been carried out by a single intruder. This individual has been able to bypass our security measures and move through our defenses as if they were nothing more than paper walls. It's as if we're dealing with a ghost."

The screen shifted to the shadowed figure of Viper, her voice tinged with frustration. "A ghost? Are you saying that one person is responsible for all these attacks? What kind of power does this intruder possess to single-handedly dismantle our operations?"

Strucker's face remained stern. "We have reason to believe this individual is not human. The precision with which our operatives have been killed, each with a single stab to the heart and drained of blood, suggests an entity beyond our usual adversaries."

The mention of an nonhuman entity being behind these attacks did draw attention, particularly from Pierce who was well aware of the Bulwark and their quest to deal with such things. He couldn't help but wonder if this was them behind it or if it was just one of the kinds of things they normally deal with.

Alexander Pierce leaned forward, his silhouette sharp against the dim background. "Do we have any leads on this intruder's identity or origins? Any intelligence on their capabilities or weaknesses?"

Strucker shook his head. "Unfortunately, our intel is limited. We have the footage from the last attack, showing the entity in action. It's fast-moving but appears to be a man in dark armor, a medieval kind of armor. Using a sword and, as I said, moving through walls like a ghost."

Madame Hydra's voice cut through the discussion, icy and precise. "That sounds strange, normally these attacks leave behind no footage, no clues, no nothing. And now you are saying that you have the full footage of the attack?"

Strucker nodded, his expression unyielding. "Yes, Madame Hydra. This time, we were fortunate—or unfortunate enough—to capture the entire attack on our security cameras. The entity moves with supernatural speed and precision, but it doesn't seem to care about being seen. It cut through our operatives like they were nothing, then simply phased through the walls. I've had our best analysts review the footage, but we still don't have a clear understanding of what we're dealing with."

The screen shifted to the shadowed figure of Malick, his voice a low rumble. "What about the Mandarin? We've already lost significant assets in Asia. Are we sure there's no connection between his attacks and this new threat?"

Strucker shook his head. "The Mandarin's attacks are different. They're organized, targeted, and leave a clear message. This new threat is silent and deadly, but there's no communication, no demands. It's as if the sole purpose is to eliminate us."

Suddenly, the Sheikh offered a new theory: "Is it possible the attacks on Europe have been caused by two different groups? One that is careful to hide their tracks, and this Black Knight who is just some kind of monster?"

The room fell silent as the Hydra leaders considered Sheikh's theory. Baron Strucker broke the silence, his voice measured and thoughtful. "It is possible. We may be dealing with multiple threats simultaneously. Our resources are already stretched thin, and the idea of facing both a covert organization and a supernatural entity is... troubling."

Alexander Pierce's silhouette shifted as he spoke, his tone serious. "If we are indeed facing multiple threats, we need to reassess our strategy. Dividing our forces might leave us vulnerable, perhaps we should gather our forces together?"

Madame Hydra's voice was sharp. "Together under you, you mean. It seems to me, Pierce, that you stand to benefit much from such a strategy; perhaps it's SHIELD that is behind these attacks? Is there something you aren't telling us?"

The tension in the virtual meeting room escalated, shadows deepening around the faces of the Hydra leaders. Pierce's silhouette stiffened, his tone growing colder. "Madame Hydra, accusing me of being behind this is a dangerous game. We are here to find solutions, not point fingers. Our enemy is out there, not within."

Viper's voice cut in, her tone dripping with skepticism. "We need to focus on the facts. If we assume Sheikh is correct and we are facing multiple threats, we must allocate our resources wisely. Pierce, as the person in charge of SHIELD and the Hydra elements within, what can you tell us?"

The question wasn't a strange one. As the former director of SHIELD and leader of the most powerful chapter of Hydra, Pierce was indeed the best informed of all of them. His network was extensive, having access to the entirety of SHIELD to draw upon.

Alexander Pierce's silhouette remained tense, but he took a deep breath before responding. "Nothing; SHIELD knows nothing about these attacks, though at least this monster might be one of those things the Bulwark is after; it could possibly be them. Though if we are indeed their target or if we are merely caught in the crossfire between them and the Chaos Insurgency, I don't know."

The room fell silent again, each leader processing Pierce's words. The Bulwark, a new player dedicated to combating anomalous threats, was a name that sent chills down their spines. If they were indeed involved, it added another layer of complexity to their predicament.

Baron Strucker broke the silence once more, his voice resolute. "We need to prepare for all possibilities. Pierce, continue to gather intelligence and see if you can confirm any involvement of the Bulwark or the Chaos Insurgency. We need to know who our enemies are."

Viper spoke up, her tone calculating. "Perhaps we should utilize the Bulwark? If they are hunting this black knight, it would be in our best interest to ensure they succeed and fast."

Malick's voice rumbled through the speakers again. "And what about the Mandarin? We cannot ignore his threat. We need to find a way to neutralize him before he can cause more damage."

Pierce spoke up at the mention of the Mandarin. "He seems to have once more gone dormant after meeting with the new Ricci head; we don't know why, but I wouldn't want to piss him off once more, not until we have dealt with the other issues first."

Having been silent for this long, Bloom finally spoke up. "What about Whitehall? He seems to have disappeared. Do we know what happened? Is he hiding? Dead? Or worse, captured?"

The room fell into a deeper silence, the gravity of Bloom's words sinking in. Baron Strucker's expression darkened. "Whitehall's disappearance is indeed troubling. We have no concrete information on his whereabouts. If he has been captured, it could mean a catastrophic leak of our operations."

Madame Hydra's voice, usually sharp and commanding, softened slightly. "We must consider all possibilities. If Whitehall has been captured, he could be compromised and forced to reveal our secrets. We need to tighten our security measures and ensure all sensitive information is moved or destroyed."

The shadowed figure of Sheikh spoke up, his voice steady. "We need to prioritize our threats. The Black Knight and the attacks on our European facilities must be dealt with immediately. We can use the Bulwark's efforts to our advantage, but we need to be cautious. The Mandarin's situation can be monitored for now, and we will re-evaluate our approach based on his actions."

Alexander Pierce nodded in agreement. "We must act swiftly and decisively. Our resources are stretched thin, but we cannot afford to hesitate. I will increase surveillance on our facilities and see if we can establish any patterns in the Black Knight's attacks. Meanwhile, we need to find out what happened to Whitehall. I'll allocate some of our best operatives to track his movements and gather any information on his possible capture or disappearance."

Strucker took a deep breath, his mind racing with strategies. "Pierce, coordinate with our intelligence network and ensure we have real-time updates on the Black Knight's movements. Viper, enhance our internal security protocols and work with our scientists to develop countermeasures against this entity. Malick, you focus on monitoring the Mandarin and ensure he doesn't become an immediate threat again. Bloom, I need you to lead the search for Whitehall. Use every resource at our disposal."

The leaders nodded in agreement, their faces determined despite the shadows obscuring their features. Strucker's voice carried a final note of authority. "We must remain united in our efforts. Hydra has faced threats before, and we have always emerged stronger. This time will be no different. We will crush our enemies, one by one, and reclaim our power."

The virtual meeting concluded with a chorus of "Hail Hydra!" echoing through the darkness. Each leader disconnected, returning to their respective strongholds with renewed purpose. The battle against their unseen enemies was just beginning, and Hydra would stop at nothing to ensure their survival and dominance.

They knew the road ahead was fraught with danger, but they were prepared to face it head-on, united in their resolve to crush those who dared to oppose them.
