Chapter 9 – Destruction

I soon heard the sound of a vehicle coming.

I released my Observation Haki which had a span of 50 meters and I could sense a vehicle coming and inside I could sense 3 of them. I held a stone in my hand, coated it with Haki, and threw the stone to the driver's side.

The stone penetrated the glass and lodged itself to the head of the driver.

"Enemy attack".

One of the two shouted and quickly opened the car door in their positions and jumped out of the car. The car started to move in a zig-zag manner and crashed onto a rock which made it go in the air and land on the ground seconds later.

BOOOOMMMMM.

The car went up in flames as it crashed and tumbled down on the road.

"Fuck, Finn is down and we won't be able to contact anyone now," cursed Dwayne. He soon saw Edward and said, "Edward, back me up."

"Keep your eyes on the front, the base will soon send some reinforcements, they would have easily seen what is going on here, we need to stall till then, is Ann on the way?" replied Edward and asked Dwayne.

"No, she is five minutes out," Dwayne said with his guns in his hands and looking to make sure they were safe or not.

"Zestia, find her," I told to Zestia.

I walked out of the shadows and Dwayne saw me.

"Enemy on sight, shoot," Dwayne yelled and Edward also turned towards my direction and started to shoot at me.

I was walking towards them, dodging all the bullets with minimal movement with the help of my Observation Haki.

"Get back, get back, we will switch," said Edward, Dwayne moved back and stopped shooting but Edward continued, Dwayne who was reloading saw me who was dodging all the bullets as if it was nothing, he was scared but was able to hold his emotions, but there was anger and spoke, "You don't know who you are messing with, better stop and surrender we might let you go."

I did not bother replying, I saw another stone before my feet. I lifted the stone with my feet.

Edward and Dwayne did not know what I was doing.

I caught the stone, coated it with Haki, and looked at them.

"One is enough for me"

Then I flicked the stone towards Dwayne and before he could dodge there was a hole in his forehead.

Edward did not understand what happened, he heard a *thud* sound behind him and turned back to see Dwayne on the ground, dead.

There was horror on his face.

"Sir, she is a minute away from your position and the reinforcements will be there in two minutes," I heard Zestia's voice on my earpiece.

"Which direction is she in?"

"Straight, sir."

I used Observation Haki and sensed the suitcase that Edward threw and took it and was rushing towards Edward, who just turned to see me coming at him.

Edward who saw me was about to shoot again but I used Soru and reached in front of him and my hand was in his neck slowly crushing him and using Geppo I took flight with the ground-breaking due to the force used in my legs.

The moment I used Geppo and reached above, I saw another car coming towards the direction we were in, it was a few meters away.

I then turned to see Edward who was choking and his face was turning blue, I uttered "Goodbye" and crushed his neck killing him, and threw him like a bullet towards the car.

*Glass breaking sound and Car breaking sound*

Ann was terrified of what just happened and unconsciously stepped on the break which made the car come to a stop.

When she saw who was to her side that was thrown to destroy her front glass which was bulletproof glass, she was shocked to see the face of Edward.

I landed in front of the car with the ground being destroyed upon my landing and smoke surrounding me.

Ann quickly held her gun in her hand as she heard the sound of me landing.

She started to shoot when she saw a shadow of me in the smoke.

She emptied her gun and was about to load it when a sword came out of the smoke which she did not see and lodged itself in her stomach and her seat.

She puked out blood and started to cough with each bringing blood from her mouth. She was still trying to load and shoot again.

She then turned towards my direction as she saw me come out of the smoke fully in black and when she saw my skeleton face, she felt as if the Devil is here to reap her life.

I was now standing in front of her car door and she was looking at me, I could see what she was feeling from her face, anger, hatred, and unwillingness to die.

"You made your fate when you decided to join Hydra," she heard my voice and her face turned to have a shock. She could not understand how I knew about Hydra.

I opened the car door and took my sword out of her stomach.

Blood started to flow from her body.

She was about to say "Hail Hydra" but she did not get the chance to do that I ripped her head off with brute strength and Armament Haki.

"Hail Hydra, why do they all want that to be their last words, I seriously don't get it"

"Gerald, how many are Hydra?"

I did not get an answer. I knew the answer from the no response I got.

"All of them it is"

"Yes, Andrew, all of them" Gerald sighed when he said that and slopped into the chair.

Gerald POV

I started to go through every one of them in the base along with Zestia as Andrew asked.

I could not help but break the cup that was on the table with anger.

"Why the fuck are they all Hydra?" cursed Gerald.

"Anyone has any family, Zestia?"

"Give me a minute, sir," and soon I heard her voice again.

"All of them do have families, not of their own. All the members present on the base were killed on missions and labeled heroes of the nation, sir."

"Heroes, they do not deserve that title."

"Gerald, how many are Hydra?" I heard Andrew's voice from the speakers.

I could not reply at all, I felt all the things around me blackout and I slumped onto my chair.

I could not understand how all these people who fought for the nation, the world, chose to join Hydra.

"All of them it is," I heard Andrew's voice again.

"Yes, Andrew, all of them," I sighed.

Back To Andrew - Third POV

Andrew started to move towards the base.

He used his Observation Haki to sense his surroundings.

"I don't want to drag this long, it's best I complete this fast" uttered Andrew as he was going fast towards the base using Soru.

"Zestia, hack into their network, stop their communications, I don't want any of them to contact the other bases or send a distress signal," said Andrew.

"It's already been done sir, their base is now under my control, they won't be able to do anything," replied Zestia.

"Good, let me know how many are out here and how many are still in the base and if there are any database let me know"

"Two teams of 5 are close to the location of the car that is still burning sir,"

The moment Andrew heard that he used Geppo and took himself to the sky.

"Time to use Roger's Rankyaku and see its strength," as Andrew said that he drew his sword out and was building up his strength.

The Rankyaku that Roger used is completely different, he used it with his sword to send out compressed blades of air instead of legs which is how it is used normally.

He then saw the cars heading towards where Dwayne was, he went above them before slashing his sword horizontally with full force again and again sending out sword waves continuously that were in black towards the cars.

"What is that?" said one of them inside the car.

The others then saw through the glass window of their car to see a black wave coming towards them.

"Jump out of the car now," said one of them.

The compressed sword waves merged into one another and they turned big and there was no chance even if they jump now.

The car was destroyed with each slash, it was being cut down along with the 5 inside the car.

Flesh and blood were all left of their bodies, not one part of their body as a whole.

Andrew then landed in front of the other car and sends out another sword wave cutting the car in two. The car was cut vertically in two and each part went the opposite way, one left the other right.

All the five tumbled down and were getting themselves up.

2 of them were unlucky as Andrew killed them by cutting both of their heads in one fell swoop with blood gushing out like a fountain.

The other three who looked at this started to shoot and uttered, "Hail Hydra" x3.

"Fuck," Andrew cursed.

Andrew was moving his sword in front of him and cutting the bullets that were coming.

Some bullets went past him and hit him, it did nothing to him as he was wearing armor and used Armament Haki.

One of them was using the broken car as a shield and using it as a cover to shoot in intervals, another stopped and hid behind a tree to load his gun and the last one, he did not know whether the guy had any problems in his mind, he was open and it was as if he was welcoming Andrew to kill him.

Andrew did not disappoint him, he placed his sword back into its sheath, he used Soru and was in front of him and with his right hand coated in Armament Haki. Andrew moved his hand so fast that the Hydra guy's head was cut off from his body due to the force.

Andrew soured to other guys and made a hole in their chest with his fist. This all happened in 3 minutes. 3 minutes was all Andrew required to cut off cars and heads and rush towards the base.

"Andrew, better hurry, some are escaping via the quinjet." Andrew heard Gerald's voice.

"Will do"

Andrew disappeared from where he was rushing to the base. This time he used the full force of Soru, there was only blur.

"This is straining my body better hope I get there fast"

Andrew was soon over the base and he was greeted with a rocket launcher.

"Seriously?"

As it came, he Geppo-ed and dodged it but that did not stop it to turn back and come at him again.

He then heard the sound of an engine starting.

"The quinjet"

Andrew went in that direction and the rocket was following him as well.

In the base, everyone watched as Andrew directed the rocket at the quinjet to watch it blast into pieces along with 12 of them inside it.

"Now that that's done, let's get this over with"

"Sir, the cops are on the way, they are 20 minutes out"

"Thanks, Zestia"

"Andrew, there is a database at the base, connect your pen drive to it and we will download everything,"

"Will do, Gerald, where's the location of the system?"

"The monitoring room, the one with the lights above it"

"Got it"

Andrew then went down as he saw the Hydra members coming at him to send another rocket at him.

"That's not going to happen this time" and soru-ed towards them. They all started to shoot and Andrew danced with his sword, each strike killing one of them.

In a minute all of them were down on the ground with blood dying it.

Andrew went towards the monitoring room he could sense three people inside. When he sensed what they were doing he quickly rushed back and BOOM, it went up in smokes.

"Shit," he cursed.

"Get out from there Andrew," Gerald said.

"We have one more thing to do and we have to do it as quickly as possible"

"What is it?"

"We have to blow up a military base, I will explain when I get there"

Andrew disappeared leaving behind blood, bodies, a Hydra base on fire and a gift for SHIELD.

Andrew then brought up his system as heard the sound *Ding*.
