"As a teacher, school sucks. Hisoki runs towards his designated classroom, ten minutes late. Why was he late? He's the damn teacher! He huffs, running down the identical halls, the room numbers slowly rising. 206, 207, 208,209….. He was going to be teaching in room 221, what hall was that in again? He had tried to look nice for school, having his black hair flat ironed, and a brown tie to match his shoes. His vintage shoulder bag was starting to weigh on him, slowing down his movements. The bell had already rung ten minutes ago, but he wasn't even at school by that time. His entire morning routine was set back thirty minutes, since his alarm didn't wake him up, his dog did. "Come on.." Hisoki muttered, continuing to run down the halls. 219, 220, 221, 222- oh wait! He took a couple of steps back, placing his hand on the door." At Yokosa's Boys School of the World, only the richest and smartest get to go. So when five boys with polar opposite personalities get put in an English class together, chaos always erupts. And secrets always go down in flames.

Chapter 5

Hisoki leans on his desk, looking at the homework from the first day. He shuffled through his paper, finding the first one, Yoshi's.

What do you expect from class?

It's going to be cool! My friends told me how important English is, and I heard it can get you a reeeeaaallllyy good job! Plus you seem like a cool teacher, which is also good!

Very cheerful, that's for sure.

Is there anything you want to tell me?

Hmmm, not really

What are three words your friends would use to describe you?

Nice, energetic, friendly.

He wasn't shocked by those. Yoshi always seemed like a perfect and amazing student. Hisoki wouldn't say a hoodie with two shoes, but still a very obedient and nice kid. He could tell since they were already friends with Baker. He hummed, writing a checkmark before shuffling to the next one, Baker.

He already stood out from the rest, just for his blond hair. However, he seemed like the quiet type. When he asked Hisoki to be his tutor, he didn't expect it. His grades were all perfect, he seemed smart and respectful. However, he was in to help a student.

What do you expect from class?

Something fun. I think I'm gonna like this class, everyone seems cool and I think I might have some friends.

Hisoki at the boy, who was chatting along to the others at the table. More you want to tell me?

nope! I think I'll be good

What are three words your friends would use to describe you?

Quiet, nice, and funny

Hisoki nodded his head, uncapping the red pen and making a checkmark, before setting the paper aside. He instantly noticed something about the next one that he hadn't noticed, the handwriting was in purple marker, instead of a pencil. It wasn't like Hisoki said specifically no marker, but the pop of color did catch the professor off guard. He read the name, Kai.

What do you expect from class?

Lots of friends! Maybe some long-term friends, who knows. Also, learning the basics of English.

Is there anything you want to tell me?

What's America like? I always wanted to go there

Hisoki smile, grabbing his pen and writing his answer down. Very nice, I think you would love it over there. Kai had seemed like the center of attention, even when he first met him, but this was proof. Plus, the boy seemed to enjoy standing out from the crowd.

What are three words your friends would use to describe you?

Amazing, perfect, handsome

Huh, like Hisoki had said, proof. He chuckled, giving the paper a checkmark before moving on to the next one. Wafi's.

What do you expect in class?

A handsome teacher and five handsome classmates. And I got it!

If Hisoki was drinking water, he would have choked. He laughs quietly. What was he supposed to say? He stared down at the paper, before sighing and clicking his tongue. He grabbed his pen. Thank you, but you forgot yourself in the handsome category. He instantly regretted it, but he wrote it in pen! He felt like he's going to jump off a roof.

Is there anything you want to tell me?

You looked sooooooo cute on the first day

He simply drew a heart. What was he supposed to do, tell Wafi to talk with him after school?

What are three words your friends would use to describe you?

Smart, sexy, mischievous.

He clicked his tongue silently and wrote a checkmark. Wow, so Wafi was confident, and a flirt. He laughed quietly, before moving on to the last one. Harley.

What do you expect from class?

It's going to be super boring and I'm going to HATE IT

Is there anything you want to tell me?

THIS CLASS IS STUBID

What are three words your friends would use to describe you?

Perfect, amazing, and a better person than YOU

Wow, when did he get on Harley's bad side. He always had at least one student like this, but Harley was always the funniest to him. He always had something to say to the professor, so Hisoki had to have something to stay back. He gave the boy a check, before placing all the papers on the edge of his desk. He grabbed his messenger bag. Flipping open the cloth top and grabbed a white pill bottle. He opens it, popping a blue pill into his mouth, and flushing it down with warm water.

He regretted asking Hisoki for help. He wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out. He wave as Mago left, before grabbing his things. "Hey, can you drive?" He looked up at Hisoki's question. "Um, yeah but I don't have a car." Wait….. How was he supposed to get home?! "You have a ride, or do you need me to drive you home?" Baker widened his eyes and blushed, looking back at the ground. What was he supposed to say? "Oh- um. I- I can just walk."

Hisoki scoffed, shaking his head. "Hell no, I'm driving you home. I heard it's going to rain today, and it will suck if you get caught in the rain." Baker nods, looking back down at the small desk. Hisoki hummed softly, before starting to walk up to Baker, grabbing a chair and sitting by him. "So, what did you wanna talk to me about?" "Oh uh-" Baker was caught off guard. What did he want to talk about again? He couldn't even remember. Oh!

"It was about today's work assignment. I know you wanted us to have noted, but I really couldn't focus on it today. I'm sorry." He says a sad expression. HIsoki hums, nodding his head. "It's fine, sometimes I'm like that too. Like your head is too busy with other things. If I may ask, why couldn't you focus?" He asks, leaning back in his chair. Baker couldn't just tell the truth, that would be wayyy embarrassing. "Nothing important, just school."

Hisoki nods, standing up from his seat. "Well, if you want to, I can send you the notes. They should be on my desk at home. You should have my phone number, right? I think the email I sent out before school started had that." Baker nodded. He did have Hisoki's phone number, but it's not like he ever thought to use it. Now that he thought about it, everyone in his group exchanged numbers, so he had everyone's.

"Alright well, do you think you might need help with today's homework? It's just fill in the blanks with some facts we talked about." Baker didn't know what he wanted. He wanted to spend more time with Hisoki, but that would be embarrassing if he got something wrong. "I think I might." He mumbles.

He did not have a crush on the teacher.
