Wrathful Deity

They just kept attacking the ground, eventually leaving behind a deep crater. There was no time for Ming Yue to counterattack and it was far too late for her to escape this bombardment. 

But soon enough, their attacks slowed to a stop.

All of them kept their eyes on the crater, watching the dust settle and seeing what remained of the cultivator. They weren't going to leave until they knew she was dead. 

"Agh, hah, hah."

Coughing echoed from within the crater as they saw the shadow of a small figure standing in the middle. One of the beasts didn't bother waiting and attacked again, slamming their claws down in an attempt to crush her once and for all. 

It barely even entered the crater before a ringing sound echoed across the field. The next moment blood sprayed out of the beast's arm as it was sliced off cleanly, falling to the bottom of the crater beside Ming Yue.
