The Red Dragon and the White Lion

Two echoing roars shook the air, causing everything to turn their heads in the direction of that noise. 

They watched two figures leap forward with their weapons out. 

The dragon-kin, Ao Qin, and the lion-kin, Ruishi Lei, they overtook everyone and landed right in front of Ming Yue. 

"Hm, their eyes!" she noticed it immediately. 

Indeed, the eyes of both beast-kin had changed, displaying a silver glow and an intense stare. 

Their bodies vanished before reappearing right before Ming Yue and took a swing at her. She leaned back, avoiding the attack before jumping away, widening the gap between them. 

Both beast-kin chased, making it their priority to not give her a chance to fight back. Ruishi Lei had his gauntlets and Ao Qin had his saber. Despite their different fighting styles, they had incredible teamwork, moving in opposite directions, striking at specific points. If one aimed for the head, the other aimed for the feet, and so on.
