Chapter 58

I walked straight into my room to get the result of Ryan's health condition. I wanted to prove to Keenan that I wasn't also in the mood for jokes just as he wasn't. I took the paper under the pillow and walked back downstairs to meet him. I handed over the paper to him which he took and stared at me and back at the paper.

"And what's this?", he asked looking confused.

"You know how to read right? Or should I help you read?". He looked at me in a displeasing manner but I cared less. He opened the paper and started reading. His emotions were drawn all o erh his face as he read the letter. 'That's what you wanted and now you have it', I thought.

"How did you get this? Are you sure you didn't create this yourself? Why would he refuse a transplant that will save his life? When did his condition get worse to this extent?", he fired all kinds of questions towards me but I had no answer to those questions unless he co fronted Ryan about it himself.

"Why don't you ask him yourself because I can't answer all your questions ", I suggested.

"Are you sure you didn't do this because the Ryan I know would never give up his life for anything?", he glared at me.

"Can't you see the doctors signature there? And maybe he's just fed up of the life his was leaving, who knows?"

"How did you get this? Does he know you have it??", he threw another question at me. I was now regretting I have the result to him. I wasn't the one supposed to be answering his questions but there I was.

"He left it behind yesterday after the talk and about his knowledge of it, he only knows know about it", I simply provided him the little information he needed. "Why don't you…", he dashed out of the hall even before I could finish my words. I knew he was going to Ryan's place because he was mad at the decision he was making but I was scared he might not use the right approach and it might end up badly. I wanted to follow him but he drove out of the compound even before I got out and I couldn't drive myself because I didn't know Ryan's house and there was no way I could follow Keenan because of the speed. I got back inside to think of the best way to deal with the situation then I came out with a plan. I had to get Ryder to go to Ryan's house to control the situation.

"Hey Ryder, I need you to do something urgently ", I called him on the phone and he picked after the second ring.

"Sorry Ash, I'm a little busy right now", he said at the other end of the line.

"Even if it's a matter of life and death?", a questioned him.

"It can't be that serious. Tell me what this is about "

"It's about Ryan and Keenan and I can't help because I don't know Ryan's house ", I answered him.

"What? What happened?", he asked shocked.

"I don't have time to answer you questions, just help me out by going to Ryan's house because that's where Keenan is headed to", I said I'm a commanding tone.

"Actually, Ryan is much closer to you than my present location so I'd send you his address then you can take the lead before I get there?", he suggested.

"Whatever you say, just make it quick before it gets too late", I said before hanging up the call. I got an email just a minute after I ended the call. I didn't hesitate to check my mail because I knew what it was . I hurried to get my car key and drove off as fast as I could to the address Ryder had sent to me.

The gate was an automatic one which opened on it own when I got to the entrance. I drove it and parked near Keenan's car and uninvitedly walked inside . Truth be told Ryan was really dwelling in wealth. I knew he was from a wealthy family but I never imagined the weight of his wealth. I could only imagine that because of the interior decor of the hall and the chandelier that was hanging beautifully. I was really amazed by the beauty of the hall but I didn't want the beauty of the hall to distract my mission. Immediately, I started calling out the names of the two guys that were supposed to be in the house.

"Ryan. Keenan. Where are you?", I yelled but got no response but I wasn't going to give up. I was sure they couldn't hear me because of the size of the house so I had to find them with my own energy. As I walked through the hallways I'm the house, I heard a sound making me turn towards the direction.

"Ryan. Keenan. Is that you?", I asked when I got to the door I heard the noise from but got no reply.

"What the hell has come over you?", I heard Keenan's voice from the room making me furious.
