Your heart begins to beat five times faster when you hear the cheering of the crowd, and it affects Silvertwister, as well. His speed picks up as the thought of finishing and coming in first place appears in both of your minds at once.
"We did it!" you tell him, rounding a corner and seeing the last stretch back towards the stadium. Your first race, and you won. You'll be showered with applause and the crowd's admiration. Silvertwister will fly into the sky as firecrackers go off behind you, everyone staring at you with eyes wide. The other racing stables will beg for you to change your mind and sign with them.
You're taking in the sight of the approaching stadium when a blurry figure comes up on your right.
It all happens so fast.
