You check yourself over, your heartbeat racing, and breaking, as you look around. The dust from the previous racers is just now starting to settle. The only noise now comes from the screaming crowd that's down the path from you.

You lost. That's it. You tried and failed. You close your eyes and turn to Silvertwister, then walk over to make sure he's okay. He shakes the dirt off of himself and stretches, all the while avoiding eye contact.

"Are you okay?" you ask, and he finally looks at you.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just an aching wing is all," he states and sighs sadly.
