Chapter-224: Talking with Lucian

"How can I believe you?" asked Lucian. With a look of doubt,

"How can I be sure that you are telling the truth?"

"Well, you can confirm it there is his body...." said Alex as he pointed towards the place where there was supposed to be Victor's body, but now that place was destroyed beyond recognizable. Lightning had consumed every inch of what had been Victor's body, leaving nothing but ashes and unrecognizable remains.

"It seems you can't see his body because it is destroyed," said Alex with a wry smile.

"How can I believe you?"

"Do you think that with my power I need to lie to you?"

Hearing that Lucian again looked at the destruction caused by Alex. Seeing this Lucian gulped with a look of fear, and he could feel his heart racing in his chest. He didn't have confidence that he could stop Alex's attack.

"I just felt pity for you, otherwise you would have died the moment I made the move "

Hearing that Lucian stood up with difficulty, his body shaking from fear and shock. His whole body was bleeding, the cuts deep and the wounds wide. He could feel the pain echoing through his body, radiating from the wounds.

"You wear these clothes. I don't enjoy seeing naked men," Alex said with disgust as he took out clothes from his inventory.

In pain, Lucian could barely move his body as he put on his clothes.

"So, do you still want to continue fighting vampires?"

"You should retreat, you are in no condition to fight."

"And you also lost the reason to fight against vampires," said Alex. If Lucian continues to attack there will be only two outcomes, one either Lycans or vampires will be wiped out and humans will also know the existence of the supernatural side, which will start the hunt of vampires and Lycans.

So it's better not to continue this fight, otherwise, the future for vampires and Lycans will not be great. They will become lab rats of humans.

Lucian was silent as he heard this, knowing that Alex was right. He had lost the reason to fight and was in no condition to continue the battle. He also didn't want any more unnecessary deaths since his revenge was fulfilled, although he is upset that he didn't get to kill Victor.

"I believe your words, I will retreat," said Lucian with a grateful expression for not killing him.

"And a kind advice, it would be better if you lay low in the future "

"Otherwise, you will be hunted down by humans " said Alex as he thought of the plot of the underworld.

"I will keep that in mind," said Lucian. Since his revenge was fulfilled he doesn't know what to do anymore. Maybe lying low profile will be better in the future.

"Well then let's go and stop this meaningless fight," said Alex as he walked towards the hall.

Lucian followed and he didn't dare attack Alex. Anyone would be hesitant to attack Alex after seeing his power.

At that point, Alex stood with an expressionless face as he stared at the battle. The bullets were flying all over the hall, The Vampires and Lycans were fighting fiercely, teeth and claws ripping apart anything in their way, blood was everywhere, and screams and howls of pain and rage echoed throughout the hall.

Then he lifted the sword and threw the sword towards the centre of the hall with extraordinary speed and power. The sound of the sword clashing against the ground echoed throughout the hall.

A lightning field formed as the sword crashed to the ground, sending shockwaves of energy across the hall and illuminating the entire area with bright blue light.

Lightning paralyzed the vampires and lycans, trapping them in place as they were unable to move. The shockwaves of energy that had been released were so powerful that it felt like the entire room had suddenly been filled with electricity.

All the vampires and lycans stopped fighting and looked at the sword in awe as if they were in a trance. The power of the sword had stopped them in their tracks and they were unable to move with fear.
