Chapter-223: Beating Lucian

"Hey, don't you think it is about time you came out?"

"I can clearly see you." Said Alex as he looked towards the roof with a playful smile.

As Alex mentioned, the roof cracked and a burly figure descended from the crack. The figure was a huge, brown wolfman with sharp claws and piercing eyes. It swiftly moved towards Alex, stretching out its claws as it came closer. It roared, revealing razor-sharp teeth bared in a menacing grin. But for Alex, all this looked in slow motion

"Roar"

"Hmm, too slow," said Alex with an expressionless face, as he stood up and clenched his fists. As Alex jumped towards the Lycan, the throne shattered. He appeared in front of the Lycan. The Lycan stared up at him with a look of surprise on his face, but Alex ignored it. Then he caught the Lycan's claw, and with a swift movement, threw the Lycan to the ground.

The Lycan crashed to the ground, the impact creating a loud thud. The floor shattered as the Lycan fell, pieces of wood and stone flying everywhere. The impact of the Lycan's body shook the hall, and a cloud of dust and debris filled the air.

As the Lycan crashed to the ground, it puked blood as it felt its internal organs were injured. Its body trembled in pain as it lay on the ground, unable to move. Alex controlled his strength to a minimum otherwise the lycan would have died the moment Alex threw it.

The Lycan tried to stand up with difficulty, but its body was shaking due to the immense pain it was in. Its movements were weak and it was unable to stand on its feet.

As the Lycan was about to move, a foot landed on its chest, pushing it back to the ground and causing it more pain. There was a shockwave due to the impact of the foot on the Lycan's chest, and it yelled in pain from the sudden force.

Alex stood up above the Lycan's body with a smug smile on his face.

"Why don't you turn back to your human form? " said Alex as he looked at the lycan.

As Alex was talking, a Lycan opened the door of the room and lunged toward him, growling fiercely. Seeing this there was a glint of anger in Alex's eyes. Then a blue lightning sword appeared in Alex's hand, and with a swift motion, a sword wave came and cut the Lycan into half, as it disintegrated into ashes. Alex controlled the sword's power otherwise he might cut into two the entire city by accident.

The sword wave not only cut the Lycan into half, but also cut the floor into half, and the two halves of the floor spread out in two directions. There were still lightning sparks coming off the electric sword in Alex's hand, and the blue light of the sword was so bright that it lit up the entire room.

Then he pointed the sword at Lycan below, and said in an icy voice: "Do what I say otherwise you will suffer the same fate"

The Lycan looked fearfully at Alex's sword and could feel the power emanating from it. He was sure that if he didn't do as Alex said, he would be struck down by the sword's power.

The Lycan soon turned into a human. Seeing him Alex smiled

"Nice to meet you, Lucian. Of course, you aren't happy but I don't care."

Yes, this is Lucian, the leader of the Lycans. The reason Alex didn't kill him was just out of pity.

If I have to say he is one of the pitiful characters because he saw his lover and his unborn child killed in front of his eyes. Well from then onwards, he was filled with revenge to kill Victor who was responsible for their deaths.

"Cough....cough who are you? " asked Lucian with a confused and fearful expression.

"Me, just a person who came here for fun."

"Fun ?" asked Lucian with a mocking expression, as if he didn't believe Alex's words.

"You don't believe it? Well there is nothing wrong if you don't believe it" sighed Alex. This is the problem with people. They don't believe others when they say the truth, but they immediately believe lies.

"But there is something you need to know," said Alex as he removed his foot.

"Victor is dead, you have no reason to attack vampires anymore."

Hearing that, there was a look of surprise and shock on his face. He couldn't believe it, as he had dedicated his life to hunting Victor and now, someone is saying that he is dead.
