Chapter 122: Christmas and Alex secret

The day of Christmas

At night

In Granger's house

The table was filled with Christmas food- turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, and pies. There was even a bowl of eggnog with a sprig of holly on top. The smell of food wafted through the house and the Christmas tree lights twinkled in the corner.

"Alex, the food's ready!" said Hermione inviting Alex.

"Coming," said Alex.

The four sat around the table. Alex had just arrived and the others had been waiting for him to join them before they could eat.

"Hermione, how is the school?" asked Mrs Granger while serving the food

"It is fun to learn about many magical things," said Hermione

"Alex, Hermione didn't cause any trouble at school, did she?" asked Mr Granger.

"No, uncle she didn't cause any trouble," said Alex.

"Tell the truth, Alex, even in the previous school, she caused many problems," said Mrs Granger.

"Mom!" yelled Hermione, not liking her mom talking about her black history

"Is that so?" asked Alex turning his head towards Hermione, who was sitting beside him

"No, that is not true," said Hermione denying it.

"Okay, don't deny it dear, it is true you always cause problems," said Mr Granger.

"Mom, dad, don't talk about it," said Hermione with shame

Seeing Hermione's face Alex laughed.

"And,Alex you stop laughing," said Hermione with an angry expression

"Okay," said Alex while trying to hold back his smile.

"Hahaha, sorry I can't be able to stop it," said Alex while laughing

"You stop laughing," said Hermione, while hitting him with her small fists

Seeing that Mr and Mrs Granger had a smile, they also like Alex and they can see, their daughter also likes Alex.

"Okay, Hermione stop hitting Alex and sit, let him eat," said Mrs Granger with a smile.

"Hmph"

Then Hermione sat in her chair.

"Alex you said you would explain about your powers, say it," said Hermione

"Do I have to say it now?" asked Alex

"Yeah," said Hermione with a nod.

"What is that about?" asked Mr and Mrs Granger not understanding what they were talking about.

"Well nothing, she is just curious about something," said Alex

"So you want to know about me?" asked Alex

Hermione nodded.

"Then do you believe in other worlds?" asked Alex, as he put down the fork he was holding.

"What other worlds?" asked Hermione with a confused face

Mr Granger asked, "Does anything like that exist?"

"Yes, there are other worlds besides this, "said Alex

"Do you think there are other worlds?" asked Hermione

"What are you guys talking about ?How can there be other worlds?" asked Mrs Granger

"Well for starters, there exists an infinite number of worlds in this universe."

" Each of these worlds is based on a different set of laws that govern the behaviour of matter. By changing the laws governing these worlds"

"New realities can be created, giving rise to new and unique universes."

"And this world is one of them."

"And each world has a speciality,this world its speciality is magic "

"And each is this world separated by a barrier which makes it impossible for the worlds to interact with each other "

"This barrier is created by the energy that exists between the worlds, which prevents them from being able to connect with each other."

"So many people do not know about this."

"And I'm able to travel between these worlds."

Hearing that, the room became silent.

What did they hear?

There are other worlds besides these?

Alex is from another world, isn't he?

The three had question marks on their faces, and Alex gave them time to digest the information.

"Alex is what you are saying true?" asked Hermione

"Yes, that is true," said Alex

"Then how are you able to travel between worlds?" asked Hermione

"Well, I'm special so I can travel between worlds," said Alex

"How are these other worlds?" Hermione inquired curiously.

"Well, every magic is filled with various things, some worlds are filled with monsters "

"Some are filled with gods"

"They are various wonders in various worlds," said Alex

Hermione was star-struck. She had stars in her eyes.

"Alex can you take me to those worlds?" asked Hermione

"Can, but not now," said Alex

Mr and Mrs Granger came out of the daze when they heard Hermione

"No you can't go into those dangerous worlds," said Mrs Granger with a worried expression

"Yes," said Mr Granger

"Don't worry uncle and aunt, I'm not going take her anywhere," said Alex reassuring them.

"So all that is true?" asked Mr Granger still not believing Alex's words

"Yes, there is proof in front of you," said Alex

"Is there still anything you didn't tell me?" asked Hermione

"Well there is a big one I didn't tell you "

"What is that?" asked the three

"Well that is I'm a god," said Alex

Hearing that the room became silent as everyone stared in disbelief.

"What?" x3 the three shouted in unison
