Assessment Day

Chu Jiang chuckled. "I was rude. We should indeed not interfere with each other."

When he turned his head to look at Bai Yun, the car had already stopped steadily in the housing estate.

Perhaps due to the overly gentle sunset glow, Bai Yun could feel the gentleness from his gaze. At a loss, she hurriedly got out of the car. However, when she got out of the car, she heard Chu Jiang's blessings. "I wish you a bright future."

It was a pseudo-documentary. Ah Chen, who had anorexia from a young age, accidentally ate a piece of raw meat, which increased his appetite. As he grew up, he slowly began to be unable to resist the temptation of raw meat and could not quit no matter what. In the end, he simply used his profession as a surgeon to attack his patients.

He recorded each attack and the bloody delicacy which was shown with music at the end.

The tone of the film was chilling and there were not many lines, relying entirely on the exchange of glances between the actors.

Even though Chu Jiang still had an immature face at that time, his performance was seasoned and ruthless. Every look, every line, and even the way he breathed, were highly appropriate.

The image, accompanied by the sound of dripping water, was almost chilling as he walked through the shadowy basement, twirling a scalpel and whistling as he approached his prey step by step to hunt and feed upon.

That was the work that officially drew the line between the current Chu Jiang and his idol drama days. From then on, the scripts he accepted were all major productions, and he had never picked a wrong script. His movies all enjoyed tremendous success at the box office.

She watched with relish, as if she was reviewing the short twenty-three years of Bai Yun in reality.

Yes, she had come one step at a time in the past, and she'd had it even more difficult than Chu Jiang. Because of her female identity, she had been harassed and gossiped about in her original world.

Fortunately, she was determined enough. The heavens seemed to favor determined children and she eventually was allowed to enjoy the best moments.

And now, Bai Yun was just going to repeat the same path. What was there to be afraid of? She, Bai Yun, was never afraid of another take.

Bai Yun secretly encouraged herself. Looking at the approaching assessment date, she rubbed her face and extended her character's scope again.

There were no established scenes that could be referenced. The difficult part was which scene to act in and what the psychological process was like. These might be difficult for the original Bai Yun who was just starting out, but it was a piece of cake for the youngest international movie queen.

Bai Yun sculpted her own unique role in the house she had gotten from the divorce.

In the blink of an eye, the day of the assessment arrived.
