We went to A2Z Finance company. In my mind, the only question running a marathon was 'Why me?'

Then what Karl said came to my mind. It may not be that bad if I get to work related to World media.

We entered the conference room. He and my brother were already there along with 2 other staff.

 He had shortened his hair and still looked handsome. He wore a white shirt. He was looking at the screen. Maybe others were explaining something to him. 

The room was quite big, with one long oval table for 10 to 12 members. One big LED screen. 

They were all well dressed formally.

In the company where I work, there are no rules for wearing formal.

"Please take your seat, Sir" one of the staff welcomed us.

We sat down and opened our laptops.

" As we discussed over the phone, Pearl will work here on behalf of our company," My boss said.

'Work here for the next 6 months!!!!!!, Why is this hectic, why am I nervous'

"OK, Currently we are handling 10 Major projects, among which 5 are from the Media World. So, we wanted one dedicated company that could handle this big client. Your main work is to keep updating the accounts and give the info whenever we need it and where we need it. We have to give our best service to them as they are big clients to us and that can happen only when we have our data correctly." Jaydon said

"That's true. That's why Pearl will be the best choice. She is the best in our company and has experience in handling big data" Boss replied.

I looked at the boss' The data I was entering from the morning was it trial run for this work'

I looked at my brother. He was laughing.

"We have the information that World Media will have ten more projects in the coming 3 to 4 months and we want that so we have to do our best". Jaydon said, looking at me.

' I was stunned with his look'

Boss shook me a little.

"Pearl, he is asking you something," he said slowly near my ears.

"Yes, Yes, I will give my best".

"Collect your ID before you go," Karl said.

"Sure".

We went back to our office. 

"Pearl" Allena called.

"I heard you are now joining A2Z company"

"I am not joining there. I am just going on behalf of this company" I said with a straight face.

"You should be excited Right? It's a rare opportunity to work with a crush"

"He is not my crush"

"Maybe you are his"

"It's not possible"

"Why not Babe, Look at you, You are a perfect Girl. With a Casual shirt, Boy jeans, sneakers, even a girl would have a crush on you."

"Ohh Please, I don't want to talk about this topic. What I am more concerned about is what I am going to wear?"

"How is that a problem?"

"Haven't you noticed in that company everyone wears formals and I don't have one"

I said pointing out my attire.

"Looks like we have to shop"

"With you No!!!"

"Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"? said with cute expression.

"I always spend extra whenever I go with you, I'll manage this time. When I need to, I call you". I said and I packed my backpack to go home.

Phone Blinked at the side table of the room.

"They will be working together from now on" It was from an unknown number.

"It's going to be fun. I want to see how they are going to do it.' A man who was lying on the bed said.

"When will I be able to walk?" he continued.

"You will be given a wheelchair from next week, after that, it will be on your hand. If you do all the exercises the physiotherapist said you will soon walk on your own, sir."

"I want to walk as soon as possible, I want to know what is happening through my eyes only." Patient said. His eyes were shining bright in a monstrous way.

"Why the hell does your company wear formal?" I shouted at Karl.

My room is filled with clothes I threw away while I was searching for some decent formal shirt.

"Me at your office for 6 months".

"You should also know how your company works and I will need your help in future ."

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmm"

"Don't mmmmmmmmmmmmmm take rest you will need energy tomorrow"

" Ok ok bye " I threw the phone on my bed. slid all clothes from the bed to the floor and slept on it.

In the morning I woke up early. Chopped some onions, tomatoes and chillies. Grated some carrots. Made some quick Uttapam. It's one of the quick Indian dish I like.

Bell rang.

Got my parcel from my brother.

It was my formal. It contained a plain white shirt, formal pants and a nice pair of heels. There was another small box covered in gift wrap.

I opened it.

It was a nice old-school watch, which resembled Grandpa's watch.

I took a picture and sent it to karl.

'Be on time- You are going to the company as CEO, more like an undercover CEO. All the best.

It was so nice to wear all of those.

I was ready for my first day at A2Z.

"Yes, whom am I speaking to?"

"I am Jaydon, come down we have to go to World Media".
