Flint turned her gaze to the very middle of the children. "And I wonder what those two are up to, hmmm... better to watch from the sidelines, I don't want to entangle myself with that realm now..But what are they doing here?" Sage thought and continued to scrutinize the two girls.

Leaping down, and landing on her feet, like she didn't just jump down a tree the height of a three-story building.

She cast one final glance the children's way and vanished into thin air. If the kids were there they would have been stunted speechless and in awe.

Flint looked at the chanting children in front of her, and she immediately realized what a huge task had been bestowed on her by Black, It would not be easy leading these doubtful kids...

Glancing all over them, her eyes stopped for a second on two girls standing so close to each other.

"hmmm... it seemed some people still broke the rules and became close, " Looking closely she identified one of the girls, as the one who was penalized by Mother yesterday, but no matter how she thought she couldn't recognize the other girl.

But one thing she was sure of was that the other girl was suspicious. She just released a different aura, that if you were not focusing on her you would not notice.

Turning her attention back to the crowd.

" We would all go back and prepare for the journey ahead of us." Declaring this she turned her back on them and made her way out.

After some time the crowd started to disperse.

"So Sarah what are we going to do now"

Ulanni asked.

"We go back to the sleeping quarter" Came Sarah's monotone voice.

"I don't know what to do with myself, we were never left this idle. We were always moving from one thing to the next, doing chores and all.... I don't just know Sarah".

Ulanni spoke sounding lost.

"Common, let's go " Sarah grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the direction most of the children were headed.

On entering their sleeping quarter, the room was filled with people sitting in different areas, some were sitting on the beds while others were on the short stairs by the bed and some were spotted

to be standing.

Moving forward Sarah continued pulling Ulanni past where was her usual sleeping spot and kept going down, towards the very corner of the room. They were getting curious looks their way, probably because Sarah was holding her hand. Only the heavens know what was going through their minds.

Looking ahead like their eyes didn't bother her, she kept moving onward.

Plopping down on the bed with a sigh, Sarah looked up to see Ulanni with her eyes wide open and her mouth could have reached the ground if her jaws were any slack.

"What?" Sarah asked her with a questioning look on her face.

"You mean, you have always been just ten beds from where I usually sleep and I never saw you!" Ulanni squealed through the mind link.

"You do know you can talk with your mouth now right?" Sarah looked at her with weary eyes.

"No, no I... just can't believe it... I mean we could have been friends a lot earlier you know" Ulanni was cut in-between words by Sarah.

"I doubt that, but can you sit and stop standing so tall in front of me?" Sarah said out loud while patting the place next to her with her head inclined.

Plopping down next to Sarah."Do you think it is allowed to hug you now I want to..." Ulan was met with silence, she looked down feeling sad.

"Ugh come here! " Sarah said pulling her into her embrace while stifling a giggle at how cute Ulan was acting."You know you didn't have to ask right?"

"Thanks, Sarah" Ulanni purred.

Sarah ruffled the mass of pink strands atop her head fondly. Their short moment together was cut short by a loud shout.

"Now you brats! don't think you can disrespect me just because you would be leaving.. you worthless dogs! " Mother screamed at the top of her voice.

But the children seemed to be less affected by her shouting unlike before when they would have been scrambling around and fidgeting and they only turned their heads to stare at her with just a few of them standing up.

Ulanni was going to stand up too when she was tugged back down by Sarah. Turning to glance at Sarah and giving her a questioning look, she turned back to face where Mother was standing, as she didn't want to draw attention to herself by talking now.

"Are you dogs out of your minds!! when I talk to you lot you get on your feet! "

Mother screamed with anger evident in her voice.

This last warning made the children who were still sitting stand up from the bed. Well everyone except one person.
