The cat's annoyance and the good thing about paranoia

I was stIll angry when school ended, I had my head down wIth a frown on my face when someone bumped Into me from behind. I turn around and fInd ned sayIng sorry as he moves on, not even notIcIng that It was me he bumped Into.

(How does that feel huh? Now that all the 'I's' are capitalised you must be oh so relieved. But seriously i don't know where i should capitalise and where i shouldn't, i know i have to put it at the start of the para and right after a full stop but apart from that I don't know shit)

I follow him until he says bye to the girl and waves his hand even after her bus left and is way past the horizon I tap him on his shoulder to which he turns around and exclaims "oh! Hey Pete..." but i don't let him finish his greeting and punch him in his face as lightly as i can which still sends him down as he holds his jaw.

He turns to me in surprise as he yells angryly "What the fuck was that?" I point at myself and ask "What do you mean what the fuck was that?.." i point to the horizon where betty brant left from and ask "..What the fuck was that?" he looks confused for a second before his face cringes as he tries to explain "Oh! That was betty" i nod as i say "i know" i grab his hand and lift him up as we walk together.

I ask after a little bit of silence "Why did you ignore me all day again?" he looks surprised i even mentioned that because whenever we had these friendly spats we just punch each other and be on our way as if it never happened but he answered "Well it was my first day in love" with a smile.

I deadpan and he explains "we met this morning at the cafe we hang out at" i nod as we walk towards said cafe in silence. We sit at our usual spot but i don't let him start a new argument about Harry Potter and say "I need your help" he takes a sip of his coffe as he asks "what do you need my help for?" I think of how to say it and decide to just spit out "The next video requires your help in programming something" from there we smooth out the details and go home after finishing the delicious cakes we ordered.

I get home to find aunt may alone so i ask "where is ben and v?" she turns to me from the soap opera she was watching and says "ben took v to the park to record some youtube video or something" i nod and go to my room before i lock the door and take out the reciever to listen to what happened to the sleazy fellow and his friend.

Right as i turn it on black cats smooth voice yells angryly "come to the roof where you fought me spider, i got the info you asked for" i wince at the loud voice and put my suit in a backpack and go downstairs "Aunt may i am going outside"

Aunt May yells back "be back before 10:00" I walk towards a dark alley and change into my suit before i crawl to the top of the building, i then turn on the button on the side of my gloves which activate a very simple hud that can show me the map of the city with all the places i left my transmitters at marked red.

I jump of the ledge and web zip to the farthest building i can find before bouncing off of its wall and free falling for a second. I fire a web onto the scaffolding of a building and swing with all i have before i release at the crown of the swing and flip in the air.

I fire a web towards the train passing by which pulls me so hard i felt my stiff soldier crack which makes me relax and sigh. I stand on the side of the train until it makes a left turn which isn't the way i am supposed to go, So i jump off and start swinging towards the warehouse.

The swinging gets harder and harder with time as the buildings get smaller and smaller until i have to run across roofs to even be able to reach my destination. I land on the roof of the building where me and kitty fought.

My hud shows me the way to the transmitter which is below some blue tarp, so i lift it and find a small kitty toy which has my transmitter in its paws.

I sigh and think to myself 'i should have known she'd try something like this' as i close my eyes due to the bright light.

-3 days ago-

Peter has just finished beating some punks trying to mug people when he thought of something 'phew thank god for Spidey sense, i almost got shot. But what if i only had spider sense to rely on, i need to be able to fight in all conditions, even without my eyes and ears' peter looked at the giant blue building with the words Goldmen's Law Firm written on the front and remembered 'daredevil fought without his eyes and he was able to traverse on rooftops with his power' peter walks to the edge of the building and looks down to the 50 foot drop.

'Can i swing without my eyes' was all peter thought before he closed his eyes and took a leap of faith, his fall was clumsy with his hands moving around guessing where to shoot the webs while his Spidey sense rings loud as hell making his head ache. Peter was just about to give up his daredevil dreams and open his eyes when his Spidey sense stopped ringing right as his left arm pointed upwards with his wrist ready to shoot a web, peter didn't miss the chance and fired a web which went taught and pulled him away from danger.

In the middle of the swing his spider sense starts ringing again until he points his right hand around, stopping just as the ringing stopped and fired a web. Peter allowed his instincts to work and started swinging around with a destination in mind.

The wind in his face is all that allowed peter to know if he was going left or right, the signals from the spidey sense needed some time to get used to but by the 28th time peter was able to learn which signal indicates which type of swing or web zip or jump, with a final web zip towards some building and landing on its concrete roof the spidey sense stopped and peter opened his eyes to find that he was near billie's hiding place.

Peter looked up to find billie, susan and bang running towards him with bread in their hands. Peter took off his suit and sticked it to the side of the building and waited for billie to arrive.

-Present day-

The kitten toy releases a bright flash which would take my eyes out of the game for a while if i didn't have my healing factor but looks like the cat is not going to give me a minute as my spider sense starts ringing which prompts me to dodge left. I hear a metallic sound hitting the cement to my left.

I hear some metal rubbing against a metallic tape or something as my spidey sense makes me crouch down and i could a feel some object cutting through the wind above me before i hear two thuds from my left which i think are feet.

I hear black cats voice from there "Well looks like the flash didn't work huh". Well actually it did work but she thinks it didn't because i dodged both her attempts to probably kill me.

I nod looking off into the sky which makes her suspicious "why are you looking away spider?" i think of what to say and settle for saying "You show too much and i have a girlfriend" i can hear her purr before suddenly i feel two globes touching my back with her hands hugging my chest as she says "Well, well, well look at this loyal man".

I start to panic as my spidey sense didn't tell me she was approaching, probably because she didn't want to harm me but i still grab her hands and do a judo flip on her.

It looks like it didn't work as she still landed on her feet by the sound of it as she yells "Fine, be loyal forever spideyman and here is your stupid information" i can hear a folder full of paper flying towards me so i scramble around to find where it's going to land as my spidey sense flares.

My left hand stops right above my shoulder as Spidey sense stops and i can feel a folder falling into it, i stick it to my chest with some web and say "Thanks for the info" but she says in a suspicious tone "I don't remember you being so clumsy" i shrug and try to swing away as my eyes clear a little bit.

I take a giant leap breaking the concrete but i could hear black cat yell before i could even fire my first web "WAIT HOW THE FUCK DID YOU FIGHT WHILE YOU WERE BLINDED" I chuckle as i swing away.
