Resumen

After she was sent to France for a supposed two day trip, Christina King finds herself in more trouble than she ever imagined. Things got harder for the young teen as the world of fame isn't exactly what she pictured it to be. People came along the way and things took a sharp turn when she met someone she considered to be a simple chef. What happens when a chef is more than just a chef? Enemies became friends, friends became enemies and secrets unfold. Find out in French Rose. French Rose is created by Sophia Shodimu, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Thread of Fate .

Fate is a funny word. People love to play with its meaning and its applications. Some call it destiny, others call it inevitable, and a few tend to accompany it with worlds that give it direction. ‘Thread of Fate’ – ah, if fate were a thread, what would that mean? What happens when the thread is woven? What happens when it twists? What happens when it breaks? Well… who knows? Sometimes, the simplest of actions determine one’s life. And other times, those simple actions lead to unavoidable consequences. One is free to choose his path but must be wary of the untold challenges and hidden dangers that lie ahead. There's always a choice, so... I ask you now, what will your choice be, Apollyon? Oh humble hands that weave the strands, With gentle touch in many lands, In silence, thou knit our lives, Through love and loss, thread by thread entwines. In every stitch, a story told, Of warmth and comfort, brave and bold, From birth to death, thy yarn does twine, Through joy and sorrow, clear design. Through flowing time, our moments glide, In currents deep, both far and wide, Thy touch unseen, in every loop a bond In each ripple, a story adorned. In vast expanse of woven space, Thy hand in stars, in heavens trace, Through night and day, thy silent song We journey forever, and ever long. In life's grand quilt, we find our place, In growth and change, we seek thy grace, Through every heart, through every soul, Thy purpose leads, thy presence whole. In shadows deep where void does lie, We seek the truth beyond the sky, Through every end, a new beginning, In thy design, all threads are spinning. In hallowed halls where knowledge dwells, Thy wisdom's light out fear dispels, Guide us through both night and day, In thy embrace, we humbly stay. For in thy weave, we find our place, A part of thy eternal grace, By thy hand, paths cross and part, With every beat of tender heart. Thy silent song, our lives' refrain, In laughter's light, in deepest pain, In grand design, we find our state, In this awe we praise, oh Thread of Fate

Surviving as a wicked lady

Adamantine D’ambrisio, meaning incorruptible immortal. They say that names determine the course of ones life. In Lady Adamantine's case, things could not have been more false. Incorruptible? Not this Lady, she was the most wicked of them all, the most corrupt of all the ladies. Immortal? Ha! As if! I wouldn't be in this position if she really was immortal. Emila Persephone was your everyday 2nd year college goer... Well, she would be your everyday college goer if she didn't waste her life's potential on meaningless, poorly translated online novels. That's what Emila would have thought before all this happened. Wondering what 'all this is"? Nothing much, just falling asleep on a pavement, and suddenly waking up in a made up world. Nothing much. Add some salt to the wound, Emila has become the worst person ever mentioned in this world. Adamantine D'ambrisio. The wickedly jealous villainess of a R-rated novel. Unlike in the other novels she's read, she wasn't lucky enough to land into the villainess body before she became her terribly bad self. Nor was she lucky enough to end up in Adamantine's body before the R-rated content of the novel began. --EXERPTS-- "F*ck" 'I know I might have gone a bit overboard with the drinks but I ,in no way, expected to have gone this far. C'mon Emila! You're better than this!' I reprimanded myself as I groaned. I just woke up and I had a splitting headache. As if that wasn't already enough, my body was sore all over from last nights 'adventures'. I'm glad I don't remember it cos I'm already embarrassed from waking up nude and sticky in some strangers bed. Once I had gathered my thoughts, I got off the bed as quietly as I could and looked for my clothes. I checked on the floor, even went to the bathroom to find 'my' clothes but they were nowhere to be found. "Sh*t. How drunk did I get." I mumbled to myself as I stood in the dark. I needed to leave this room before my last nights endeavor wakes up, but I need clothes for that. I let out a sigh and took a bath robe and tied it around myself. I thought I'd leave a note, but I figured it was pointless so I quickly walked to the door to leave. Once I stepped out of the door, I was met by numerous people dressed as guards and maids, all standing just outside the door. At least I gave my card to someone loaded. 'Lady Adamantine' they all greeted in sync. I couldn't even process the name they addressed me by, or how old fashioned their clothes were, because of how embarrassed I was. "I-I'm going home!" I shouted awkwardly and made a run for it. I could only imagine how I looked running away in the middle of the night, dressed in nothing but a robe and messy hair.

The Christmas Arrangement

As the holidays approach, Tessa -- a warm, ugly-sweater loving personal assistant -- finds herself spending yet another holiday away from her family. Unable to fly home, she must find something else to do with her time. Little does she know, she's in for the holiday of a lifetime when she gets called into her boss's office three days before Christmas.

Colette Sylvestre is not someone you could call warm -- collected, intelligent, charismatic, maybe, but not warm. She is, however, in the running to take over her family business, a prestigious publishing house; all she has to do is convince her grandfather she has settled down enough. Her cousin Bernard, however, is determined to undermine her and take the position for himself. To convince her grandfather, Colette must bring a date back home to celebrate Christmas with her family. The only catch? Colette is currently single.

n a spur of the moment decision, she asks her personal assistant Tess to be her date for the holidays. What follows is a series of holiday related hijinks, from a fancy gala ball to awkward conversations with Colette's family as Tess tries to convince them she really is Colette’s girlfriend. When Tess realizes her little crush on Colette might not be so little, things are complicated even more and she has to decide whether or not to tell Colette.

Will Colette return her feelings? Will they be able to convince her family their relationship is real? And, most importantly, will Colette ever forgive Tess for her frankly awful sweater choice?
