A day full of embrassment.

"Vani... Please tell me what's wrong "Rimuel worriedly asked

"Can I borrow your jacket "She managed to say

He undressed his jacket and handed it to her. Watching her wrap it around her waist, making sure to cover her behind part.

Something was wrong, he thought.

Her cramps increased with every minute that passed. Spreading pain through her whole body.

Leaning on his shoulder she whispered "Can you please carry me to the car "

Without saying a word he scooped her up and headed for the car.

"What do you need?" he asked.

"I need to take a shower " she cried

"If it's urgent I can just take you home "

The moment the words left his lips she nodded with approval.

He started the car and left the park.

Vani held her stomach trying to push the pain away. Her whole body shook in pain.

Remembering that she hadn't bought more sanitary pads she immediately told him "Stop by a convenient store or pharmacy "

He nodded and made a turn, stopping in front of a pharmacy.

She asked for his phone and typed in the type she used and painkillers.

"I can't move right now due to the pain. Please go get me these "

His face was full of worry but made sure he followed her instructions.

She closed her eyes and leaned back trying to ease the pain.

By the time he came back, she was half asleep. Putting the items in the back seat he drove home.

"Vani, we are here "he woke her up.

The moment her eyes opened the pain seemed to have returned. Causing her discomfort. But to her surprise, the home he had driven to was his.

"Rimuel. I meant my home " she weakly said

"I know but it's kind of far and you seemed to be in so much pain " Without saying anything more he got out and opened her side.

Feeling too weak to argue she let him carry her to his home, directly to his room.

Putting her down he showed her the bathroom and left.

She turned around seeing him leave and wondered why he hadn't asked her anything. She moved towards the bathroom.

He went back to the car and got the items she had requested. Knocking on his bedroom door without getting a reply he entered.

Hearing the sound of the water in the bathroom he placed them on his bed with something extra and left.

"Excuse me. I need these items " he had requested the pharmacist

She looked at him then read the text. Quietly giving him a look she got what he needed and packed them. He paid but didn't leave.

He was afraid of asking but since he was worried he asked her " My girlfriend suddenly got stomach cramps. She can't move and says she only wants a shower. Is that some kind of sickness? "

The lady smiled and replied "She is just having her period that why she is hurting. Just take her home the items you bought will help "

He finally understood what had happened. Thanking her he headed to the exit but had her say "You should probably buy her some pants since it got her off guard. But since your taking her home it won't be necessary "

But he was planning to take her to his home since hers was far and he didn't have a women's underwear home.

He rushed outside and looked for where to buy them.

Rushing into the store he looked for her side by estimating her measurements through his memory of her body.

Even when he got a look from the store cashier he didn't mind but hurriedly rushed to take her home.

He was still in deep thought when he had a tap on his shoulder. Turning to meet his Uncle Ricky.

"You seem lost in thought. Saw you carry her to your room, are you planning to make a kid now? "

Feeling his face turn red he rushed to say "What are you talking about. She is just sick so I dropped her here to rest"

"Hmm... I don't think her home is that far. You just wanted her back here "Uncle Ricky pointed out.

Knowing his Uncle was right he replied

"I saw another chance and I took it. Even when it wasn't a good time. Am just that selfish "

His Uncle watched his face and nodded "Just protect her and she will also be good to you "

After his uncle left he looked upstairs and wondered if she was done.

Vanita felt a little better after the shower. She got into a robe and moved to his room. Seeing the packages on the bed she rushed to open them.

As she removed what she needed she saw the other package which revealed two pants of her size. Her eyes almost ran out of her sockets.

"He bought me these too. But... " Feeling more embarrassed she rushed to the bathroom to put them on.

Then she grabbed one of his shirts and pants and dressed up. Even when they were too big for her she still looked good.

Taking the pain killers she moved downstairs to get drinking water.

When he saw her head downstairs he moved towards her.

"Are you OK now ? " asked Rimuel

With all the embarrassing things that had happened, she still looked up and met his gaze.

"Am OK. I just need to take these "

Leading her to the kitchen he realized that she had dressed in his clothes. They looked big on her small body. But he felt like he owned her now.

After taking the painkillers he asked if she was hungry. But since she had fully herself with the amusement park snacks she wasn't.

But he still made her sandwich. She watched him prepare for her meal. Making her feel special.

He washed the tomatoes, onions, & other vegetables. Then slice them and putting them together between the bread. Not forgetting ham he served her with a smile.

She enjoyed it and left a piece for him. "You should eat it since you almost didn't eat anything at the park.

Accepting the half piece he slowly ate it. His eyes never leaving her face.

"Am sorry I was a burden to you today "she apologized

"It OK I still had fun with you"

After the light meal, he decided they watch a movie. Sitting down she watched him put it on.

It wasn't a love story or anything she watched. It seemed the only ones they watched were gangster movies. This she found weird but didn't bother to ask.

As they watched he felt her doze off. Making his shoulder her pillow he let her rest.

She didn't know how or when she dozed off but when she woke up it was already evening. He had let her use his body as support while she slept.

Feeling her move he opened his.

"Feeling better? asked Rimuel

Shifting her self she nodded.

"I should probably go home. it's getting late "

She moved to his room and got her stuff and met him in the car.

They arrived in a short while, she said her goodbyes and went inside.

"Mom am home" she shouted

Her mom came to meet her in the hallway but was surprised to see her in men's clothes.

Worried she asked "What happened to the clothes you went putting on? "

Vanita realized what she was still putting on and smiled.

Dragging her mom to the sitting room she told her the whole incidence.

"That's some story. How could you be so absentminded about your own body"

"Mom I have learned my lesson "

They chatted waiting for her Father to have dinner. Who arrived later.

Rimuel returned who was exhausted with pain in his chest and shoulders.

"You seem to like that girl," his Dad said when he saw him enter

"I wasn't joking when I said it, Dad. I like her and want to be with her "

"OK. I had from our informants in prisons that Marcus Green was released a month ago. just be careful "

"That your problem Dad, you should solve it. I don't want anything to do with that business. it's a path I choose not to follow " with anger he left the room.

Marcus Green was the gangster who killed his mom. He had caused the accident to kill his father since he was his rival but had failed. His father feeling despair and anguish looked for him and put him behind bars.

But if he was out that meant revenge and bloodshed. But he had just started to move on with his life. He didn't want to move, leaving her behind.

He wanted the life he had chosen and he wasn't going to give it up so easily.
