Chapter 18

The two women stayed silent as they looked at each other with neither of them talking as this silence went on for a few seconds.

"What are you... doing here?" Yan asked Lin dumbfounded.

"I came here to see his grave." Lin said to her.

"Why? He isn't your husband anymore." Yan said tired.

"That doesn't mean I can't visit his grave. Also—" Lin said to her before she was interrupted by the door of the grave keeper's house opening.

"Who is it?" The grave keeper asked as he opened the door irritated.

He opened his eyes and his eyes widened when he caught sight of Lin in front of him. Even he knows her so he was shocked to see her standing in front of his home right now.

"Wh-What can I do for you ma'am?" The grave keeper asked her nervously.

"I wanted to ask about what happened to that broken grave there." Lin said, fully aware that Yan was standing behind her.

'She would've seen it anyway so there is no reason to hide it from her.' Lin thought to herself as she looked at the man.

"Ah yes ma'am. Please follow me." The grave keeper said to her as he walked forward.

He passed the two women as Lin followed him while Yan while confused also decided to follow them since they are going to the cemetery. However she was shocked when she saw a broken gravestone in the cemetery. To be more precise, she recalled it as being her brother's gravestone.

"Wh-What happened!?" Yan shouted in distress when she saw it as she dashed past the two in front of her.

Lin wasn't surprised while the grave keeper was surprised at her sudden outburst as she ran and stood in front of the destroyed gravestone. She looked at it as she covered her mouth with her hands as tears formed in her eyes.

"Who would..." Yan said as her voice trailed off.

"Did you know him miss?" The grave keeper asked her carefully.

"He was my big brother." Yan said as tears fell down her cheeks.

"Oh... And why are you here ma'am?" The grave keeper asked Lin.

"This man was my ex-husband. Now can you tell me what happened here?" Lin asked the man while Yan looked at the two.

"Sure. It was a few days ago, I was watching over the graveyard like always when suddenly a bright light appeared in the sky." The grave keeper narrated to them.

The last sentence caught the attention of the two women as they listened and looked at him intensely.

"The light then came down from the sky and hit the gravestone and destroyed it. After that nothing happened for a few seconds except for the dogs barking. Then a hand rose from the hole and a young man climbed out of the hole." The grave keeper said catching the undivided of the two girls.

"What does he look like!" Yan asked him immediately as she stood in front of the man with a desperate look on her face.

The grave keeper and Lin were surprised at the tone and expression on the girls face, though the man understood her reaction.

'She seems to care about him much more than before. I thought his relationship with his sister was quite bad but she now seems to be desperate to find him.' Lin thought to herself as she looked at the girl.

"Well, the moon was shining its light on the graveyard so I could make out some of his features. If I am remembering it correctly, he has black hair and fair skin, I think his eyes are blue and seems to be quite the young man of a good height." The man said to the two as he tried to remember the details.

'That description is just like him!' Yan and Lin thought to themselves as they heard the man.

"What happened after that!?" Yan asked him.

"After that, well then he made some clothes from thin air and then he walked out of the cemetery. He also made some food for the dogs here and then went away. I, who was the one who saw it, well was so overwhelmed by what I saw that I fell down unconscious." The grave keeper said to them as he shrugged.

The two girls were stunned when they heard him. They were surprised when the man said that Wen had created clothes for himself and that he made food for the dogs. But then again, him coming back to life is also a very strange thing so they thought that it was true.

'Was he taught by an immortal?' Lin thought to herself as she heard him.

'Brother is back. That means I can fix my mistakes! Thank you God!' Yan thought to herself as she let her tears fall freely.

Yan seemed to have lost the strength in her legs as she collapsed on the ground as the other two were surprised.

"He's back. He's really back." Yan said as she cried while on her knees.

The grave keeper and Lin looked at the girl as she cried. It took a few moments for the younger girl to get control over her emotions as she stood back up and wiped her tears away and then looked at the two.

"Sorry about that." Yan said as she sniffed a bit.

But then she remembered a detail about Lin, about how the woman had come here and asked about what had happened to her brother's grave. She didn't think that she would come earlier than on the day of his death. With that thought in her mind she focused her gaze at her brother's ex-wife.

"Why did you come here before my brother's day of death? I don't think you would've come for just that?" Yan asked the woman seriously as Lin looked back at her.

The grave keeper looked at the two women and decided to just take a few steps back from them as he looked at the two women in front of him.

'I think it's time for me to go now.' The grave keeper thought to himself as he looked at the two.
