Chapter 17

After Wen had helped Mingyun with her problems Xiao-Zhang Lin had watched the security footage and saw him and was shocked to see him alive. She wondered about how this could've happened as she went back to her home. She got out of her car and went inside her house as she was greeted by her parents.

"Lin are you okay? I heard that there was a problem at your company." Xiao Jie asked her daughter worried.

"I'm fine mom. The problem had been solved." Lin said to her calmly.

"I'm glad to hear that. Just make sure that your products are safe and check them so that something like this doesn't happen." Xiao Fan said to his daughter.

"I will dad. I will be going to my room now." Lin said as she walked away to her room.

After she entered her room she went and plopped down on her bed as she covered her face with her right hand as she remembered the things that she had seen in her company.

'How did he come back to life?' Lin thought to herself in confusion.

She couldn't make heads and tails about it and she doesn't know enough to make any conclusions. The most simple was that a true immortal had revived him using their powers, but she didn't know as to the reason why they would do that.

'Should I go to his grave? It is nearing the time of his death but I guess going to visit his grave wouldn't be a problem.' Lin thought to herself as she looked at the ceiling.

She got up and looked around her room, which had a few things that were gifted to her by Huan. She just sighed at the things that he has given her as she thought about what to do.

"I'll just go to the cemetery right now." Lin said to herself as she stood up and put on some light makeup.

She then walked out of her room and greeted her parents.

"I'm going outside." Lin said to them as she walked away.

"Take care." Jie said to her with a smile.

"Be careful." Fan said to her with a smile.

"I will." Lin said as she exited her home.

She then entered her car and told her driver to go to the cemetery as he rode the car. Lin used this time to sense the qi of herself and her surroundings. She has progressed well in the time that has passed and has grown stronger and better in using it as well.

She waited until she had reached the cemetery after which she left the car and walked towards the graves. She walked for a few moments before she reached the place, though she was surprised at what she found there.

"What in the world." Lin said with wide eyes when she saw it.

She saw Wen's grave or gravestone which has been destroyed. She walked to it and stood in front of it as she looked at it with wide eyes as she looked at his destroyed gravestone.

"What happened here?" Lin thought to herself as she looked at it.

She looked at it for a few seconds before she walked to the grave keeper who is currently sleeping in his house which is outside the cemetary. She walked to his house and knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds. Not getting any response she knocked on the door again without any kind of response making her angry as she was about to knock again before she stopped as she felt a presence coming towards the cemetery.

She looked behind and was surprised to find Chen Yan, her ex-husband's sister walking towards the cemetery.

She is a beautiful girl with long black hair like her brother and fair skin. She has blue eyes however and has quite the nice and endowed body as well which could contend with Lin's own. Though the face she is making isn't very good.

Yan has a downtrodden look on her face, she has dark spots under her eyes and she didn't seem to have any makeup on. Her clothes aren't that flashy and were just normal and her hair wasn't much combed and she could see some strands of her hair was standing out as well.

Lin blinked when she saw it as she had seen photos of Yan and she remembered the girl to be well dressed and in good health and with more makeup on. She was a far contrast to her usual self, though she thinks it is warranted due to her brother dying but from her interactions she had thought that they weren't that close.

As she was thinking that Yan raised her head and noticed Lin as her eyes widened as she looked at the ex-wife of her brother.
