ch.10: you will not win this war

First venue

So I got there and well I saw three other busses, and a few more coming. But well I was okay with it. I went to sound check which was at twelve. And that was this morning. So the show starts at seven, and well it is four now. So I am in the trailer, practicing a few songs, and well I did post a few new songs to YouTube. But tonight I am going to play one I wrote last month and I didn't post it. But my set is after dead girls academy. So on this tour it is dead girls, me, motionless in white, and ice nine kills.

But well I started playing a few songs, and tonight my set was four songs and I am playing a cover tonight, and it is me and my own head by beartooth. I do like the band and their music. But my style has been like a rock n roll, gothic, punk rock look. So it will switch on some nights. But well I do wear a little bit of makeup. Meaning eyeliner, eyeshadow, and I will add a few scratches to my face. But well tonight I am using my black and red widow guitar. So I practiced for a few hours and this morning I woke up at six, a went for a mile run. So my legs are numb. But totally worth it, I was getting chased by a cat.

I want it, it is adorable. But well I don't know if it has a owner. But I was about to get up when I heard someone knock on the door, I went over and opened it to see Alesha, I said, " what?" She said, " may I come in?" I said, " what do you want Alesha?" She had tears forming in her eyes, " Haley whatever I did I am so so sorry. But can we please go back to being friends?" I sighed looking at the ceiling and siad, " Alesha, i trusted you. You broke that link. It is going to take some time with a lot of stitches." She said, " okay. At least I tried." She then left.

I shut the door and ignored the pain in my chest. I ignored it and kept ignoring it. But I got dressed into this:

I love this offutt and well I think it just defines me. I am a independent rockstar. Who has been through hell and doesn't like some people. But well I did my makeup with a scar over my eye and I couldn't help but bring my makeup kit for Halloween. And well I grabbed my guitar, I had the equipment in the venue already. But all I needed was me and my guitar.

In the venue

I got in the venue and just warmed up. But I was in my own head, but I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned to see a very tall man and I said, " hello." He said, " hi I'm Chris." I said, " Haley. Or scar." He smirked and said, " good luck tonight." I smiled and said, " you to." But dead girls played first, and they were really good. I do listen to there music and they have gotten pretty big. But well they played and I heard someone call my name, " Haley?" I looked in the corner of my eye to see Alesha, Cindy and Alexis. I growled and ignored. But dead girls came off I went to set up and I did then I played my set. But well I walked off and ignored them, but then Alesha grabbed my arm. I set my guitar down and barked at her.

" what the fuck do you want Alesha?" She said, " Haley please, we can just be frenemies that might be better." I replied, " Alesha I already told you, it is going to take time. Not just in a snap." She growled and said, " I was wrong about you Alexis. You were right-" I walked away a little and was about to grab my guitar. But she finished, " She is just a fake" that set me off I said, " what did you just say?" She said, " Haley it is true. You are a fake." I whipped around and barked at her, " listen here Alesha, if you want to be my friend again, then you will get your head out of your ass and open your eyes before her mouth."

I grabbed my guitar and she tapped my shoulder, and I turned around and she socked me in the mouth. I said, " do you really want your ass kicked again Alexis?" She smirked and slapped me again. " you me outside now." I stormed outside and out my guitar in the back of my car, I took off my jacket. And she came outside and I said, " you wanna fight wimp?" She threw a punch at me I dodged it and said, " I don't hit people who have no chance." She said, " backing down from a fight are we?" I said, " I will if it is to get away from you people."

I grabbed my jacket and went in the car and put the drive and well went to the next venue. I am not getting in another fight with that bitch. But I drove to the next venue which was in Seattle Washington.

Second stop: Seattle, Washington

So I got to the next one and well the others did to, but I was early. And well so I caught up on sleep.

Alesha's pov

So well I started thinking and well I really regret saying Haley was a fake. She's not just I don't know what was going through my head last night. And I think I just ruined my chances with our friendship.

Haley's pov

Two hours later

So I got two hours worth of sleep then I heard a knock on the door, I got up and opened it to see Chris, and the rest of motionless. I said, " good morning. What's up?" Chris said, " you alright? You got socked in the mouth last night?" I said, " yeah you guys can come in if you want. I am just waking up from the lack of sleep." I moved and they came in. But I said, " well the three that were at the last place last night." They nodded and I said, " well that was old friends of mine, Alesha, Cindy, and Alexis, Alesha turned on me and well turned into a liar." But well that happened and I kind of explained that situation.

But then I said, " sorry, I'm Haley, or I go by scar." They said, " hi, I'm Ricky." " Devin or ghost." " Ryan," and " viny" I said, " nice to meet you guys." And well we talked a little longer but Chris asked," so wait what happened last tour? In Chicago?" I said, " well the little Barbie doll, texted me, and well Cindy told me to text her back, so I did, but well she came to that show. And I played dumb but I knew it was her. So after the concert, she came backstage and I said hi but she had tears in her eyes and for some stupid reason she just slapped me, and then I yelled a few things at her, she did it back. But then a fight broke out, and I knocked her sorry ass out cold."

But I looked to the ground and well I just kept quiet and one of them said, " remind us not to piss you off." I laughed and said, " I won't fight. Last night I backed down from a fight with Alexis." They looked at me and said, " good for you. The way you described her she sounds like a bitch." I laughed and said, " She is her mother. But well I think we should get off on a better start. So hi I'm Ryan." The others smirked and introduced themselves once again and I said, " well it is nice to meet you guys, I'm Haley."

They said, " so we don't play until late tonight, do you guys want to play twenty one questions?" They mumbled, " sure. Who wants to go first?" Chris said, " I will."

Twenty one questions: Haley, motionless in white

C: okay, to see we all have them, first tattoo?

H: this one on my shoulder.( I showed them and well I knew they were probably going to ask what the dates meant. But they didn't)

R: okay what was high school like?

H: one word, hell.

C:true.

H: highschool is full of cliques and annoying people.

V: you got that right.

C: okay, favorite memory?

H: probably I am not sure I am tossing between swearing for the first time and first concert

R: what was your first concert?

H: Motley Crue, poison, guns and roses.

D: nice, but when was the first time you swore?

H: three years old.

We broke out into laughter, h: what I was a terror as a child.

D: first roller coaster?

H: millennium force

D: where's that?

H: roller coaster capital of the world?

They had blank stares.

H: cedar point?

They shook their heads no. I said very dramatic,

h: oh my unicorns.

They looked at me like what the fuck.

H : it is either that or I swear.

R: fair enough.

C: but what is this cedar point you speak of?

H: I suggest going during halloweekends. That is the best time to go, but well I know for sure I am going this year, but first ride Top Thrill dragster.

I felt a smirk appear to my face, and they looked confused, " I suggest watching a YouTube video. It launches you on this track, and you get off the ride in under 90 seconds." There mouths dropped, I said, " hey I am a roller coaster addict, can't help it. It is funny as hell thought. And I just laugh my head off the whole time. Don't know why."
