Resumen

The hogyoku has a will of its own. By sensing the desires in people, it can manifest them into reality. One such desire even spanning across universes. Follow Orihime Inoue as she tries to ride along the plot, getting stronger without changing the timeline too much (Emphasis on trying). Discord: discord.gg/mgY7NtQf5P *This is a fan fiction of Bleach, all characters and settings belong to Tite Kubo *I don't own the image, if the artist wants me to take it down I will. *This is my first fan fiction and I am a huge fan of the series. I am trying to stay as close to the canon as possible in terms of personality and powers. If you believe a character is acting unlike themselves, its either my deduction from Thousand Year Blood War arc, or its on purpose.

Chapter 1I am Orihime Inoue

Inside of a modestly decorated room, a girl with long orange hair and yellow pajama's with mushroom print yawned awake. Her bed felt more comfortable than she was used to, so she overslept. The light pouring in was highlighting the pink and yellow bedding as she dragged herself out of bed.

The girl saw orange strands fall forward in front of her face and she groaned.

"I forgot to take my wig off, ugh. That twenty-four-hour cosplay stream was definitely worth it though."

She pushed back the strands behind her ear and dragged herself into the bathroom. She reached for her tooth brush and felt nothing but air. Looking down she saw that it was on the other side of the sink.

"Weird, must have moved it and forgot."

She picked up the brush and continued her routine. When she looked into the mirror, she was silently impressed at her great makeup skills.

"Man, I really love Orihime; I wish I could actually become her."

Her shoulders were feeling sore, so she unconsciously looked down.

"Whoops, forgot to take the pads out."

She undid the top two buttons and reached in to remove the pad, but she only grabbed a handful of soft flesh. 'Huh?' She said and opened her pajamas to check.

"Hah, no way, is this a dream?" Suddenly she realized that the bathroom's decorations and arrangement were unfamiliar.

"Wait, this isn't my bathroom."

Panicking, she walked out and realized her room was slightly off. She had purposefully decorated it to look like Orihime Inoue's room from her favorite manga/anime. However, her computer and streaming setup were gone.

She habitual combed her hair with her fingers and realized she could feel her scalp. She tugged at the roots and they did not budge.

"Wait, wait, wait… did I actually turn into Orihime Inoue?"

She was filled with many different emotions: anxiety, fear, disbelief, and excitement. After the initial wave, she was able to calm down.

"Could still be a dream..."

She flicked herself in the forehead and her face scrunched up from the pain.

"Ah-ta-ta, that hurt," she looked around and saw nothing had changed. "Well, it's probably not a dream."

The realization set in and something came to mind. She started to breath rapidly as if she were having a panic attack. However, her face turned red and she started sweating. Her face looked really strange and drool even began to drip from her mouth.

"Ulquiorra, Byakuya, Grimmjow, Yoruichi, and so many more..."

She realized that her inner pervert was showing, so she quickly composed herself. There were many fan made stories involving the various characters of bleach in compromising positions. She couldn't help but recall all of the 'fan art' that her fans sent her and requested from her. However, she couldn't let others know about her strange thoughts.

"That's fine, just being able to observe them will be enough… Until I get stronger."

A knock on the door broke her train of thought. While buttoning her pajamas up, she walked over and opened the door to see who it was.

"Uh… Hello?"

A tomboyish girl with short black hair pushed open the door, surprising Orihime.

"Hey Orihime! Why aren't you dressed yet? Wait, you opened the door in your pajamas. Orihime you have to be more careful; There are perverts around, like Ichigo Kurosaki."

Orihime giggled, she recognized this girl, it was Tatsuki. Orihime wrapped her arms around this 'best friend' of hers. She always admired girls like Tatsuki.

"Hehe, I overslept" Orihime said making a silly face.

Tatsuki pushed Orihime into her room and shut the door.

"Change into your uniform, I'll make you breakfast! Hurry or we'll be late."

Orihime walked around the bedroom and admired everything in it. She realized she couldn't remember her original name anymore, only a few details about the 'real world' and the plot of this world.

She slid open her closet door and saw the ironed uniform she recognized. This was a dream come true to her. As a westerner, she always wanted to wear this style of uniform to attend school.

After changing, she realized the chest area was a little tight. She put on the iconic hairpins which hold her unique power and fixed her bangs.

"Wait, what point in the time line are we in?"

Orihime tried to summon her strange power by saying the chants.

Santen Kesshun. Soten Kisshun. Koten Zanshun.

'Nothing happened, so maybe it was too early. There were two conditions that seemed to be necessary for my power to activate; Ichigo battling around me and the hogyoku answering my desperation.'

Or maybe she lost this power because her soul was different. She hoped this wasn't the case; else she wouldn't be able meet Byakuya and Renji once the Soul Society arc started. That scene was very memorable in the series and it was a must for her.

When she entered the other room, Tatsuki had already laid out a small meal.

"Tatsuki~ you're the best!" Orihime wrapped her arms around Tatsuki's neck. She leaned her large rack into Tatsuki's face, suffocating her. Realizing this, Orihime let go and laughed awkwardly. She ate the light meal quickly, and drank a full glass of milk.

"You're acting a bit strange Orihime, are you okay?"

"Ah… yeah, just missed you." However, it seemed that Tatsuki misunderstood and hugged her back. Orihime realized that she should be feeling really lonely around this time, and Tatsuki was the only person she was really close to.

Realizing the time, they started to head to school. On the way, Orihime was distracted with thoughts of the future. Orihime is considered the most useless character in the main group. She's really only there as an occasional healer and eye candy.

She needed to quickly unlock her abilities and train her spiritual power up. According to the story, she was a genius at control. Urahara was probably the strongest Kido user in all of Soul Society, but he was unlikely to help her until after the Soul Society arc.

According to Aizen, her unique power should be able to reach god level. Being able to reject reality was quite powerful. She needed to talk with Urahara and convince him to extract the hogyoku from Rukia and give it to her instead.

"That silly Aizen won't expect me to have it, he-he."

"Hmm? Did you say something Orihime?" Tatsuki noticed that Orihime was deep in thought their whole trip so she wasn't paying attention when Orihime said something. Tatsuki was also distracted, as ghosts kept floating around her line of sight.

"Oh, it's nothing, let's get to class."

Orihime walked along side Tatsuki and everything felt familiar. She felt like she was Orihime Inoue the more time she spent here. It suddenly occurred to her; she knew the language. Also, the answers to the lessons were popping into her head.

'Maybe I really am Orihime Inoue. Perhaps our souls fused. Does that mean I should be stronger than before?'

After gaining some confidence, she attempted to sense her spiritual power. She could see spirits wandering, so its likely her spirit vision has been unlocked already. She spent all of her classes focused on detecting her spiritual power. The final period bell rang and she sighed in disappointment.

Orihime decided to look for Tatsuki to try and figure out where in the timeline they were. Tatsuki had just finished mixed martial arts practice and saw Orihime waiting for her.

"Tatsuki, I need to talk to you."

"Orihime, what's up?"

"Have you been seeing weird stuff like ghosts and monsters?"

Just as she asked, a roar was heard in the distance, followed be glass on the first two floors shattering. Tatsuki and Orihime ran over to check it out, but Orihime suddenly realized what today was.

"Tatsuki, take Chizuru away from here." Orihime saw her other 'friend' arrive, so she knew what was going to happen. Tatsuki and Chizuru needed to get away from here so she could focus on fighting the Hollow. Tatsuki was about to refuse, but she saw the serious look in Orihime's eyes.

"Chizuru lets go, whatever's going on will probably get us in trouble with the teachers."

Orihime saw the two leaving and she nodded her head.

"Alright, now, where is that ugly Hollow hiding." She started to look around. It took about five minutes to see some students with green goo on their uniforms. She looked around and saw purple tentacles scurrying over the roof of the academic building.

"Bingo. Alright hogyoku, if you're listening, please give the power to beat this thing up."

She charged towards the direction it was sneaking over to and planned to confront it. Once she turned the corner, she saw several dozen students walking around like zombies. The giant chandelier Hollow was firing seeds at people to control them.

"Hey ugly! I bet I taste a lot better than these other humans."

"Oh, you can see me. Mmm you do look quite tasty. But I abhor violence, get her my minions!"

Orihime only smiled and got into a karate stance. The canon implied that Orihime was a black belt level fighter, but her timid attitude and pacifism made her unable to fight. The mob of students was about to surround her.

First person, instant take down. Second person, counter attack and judo throw into the third person. She continued to let her body and mind become one, using her instinct to fight. She was getting excited. The only explanation for being able to fight at this level was that her spiritual power was growing.

Noticing this human was beating its pawns, the Hollow decided to interfere out of frustration. It shot several seeds from its head to take control of Orihime, but she dodged them all. Orihime realized that there was a subtle uncomfortable feeling in the very core of her soul. However, the more she fought the more comfortable she felt.

Once Orihime truly felt like she was one with the body, she could sense her spiritual power pouring out of her. She could also recognize the ability residing inside of her. She made some distance and touched her hairpins.

"Come on guys, enough messing around, lets finish it!"

Six little fairly-like creatures materialized from her hair pins. They looked at her and started talking, but Orihime cut them off.

"Good, you guys are here! Quick, Tsubaki, Koten Zanshun, I Reject!" She said, pointing at the ugly octopus-like Hollow. The spirits seemed surprised, but they were the incarnations of the ability from her soul, so they had no reason to be suspicious.

The one called Tsubaki was a red and black rogue-like spirit. He turned into an origami plane and flew at the Hollow at incredible speed. The Hollow didn't have any time to react when the red plane turned into a vertical disc and sliced it in half.

This is a story with ups and downs. The overall quality of the story is very high, the story development is interesting even if at times anxiety inducing (in a good way). The character design is well done with relationships being depicted realistically with a degree of depth with both sides being there own characters rather than only the main character having a personality, opinion and goal. The development of the main character as well as several other important figures is fully shown with clear changes occurring throughout the story. The world background is also kept faithful to the original with bits being occasionally added to provide more to the story. I trully enjoyed reading this work however unfortunately here comes the issues. The beginning is rushed I'm not sure if it was intentional or not but everything before the invasion of soul society feels somewhat rushed the story doesn't suffer but it certainly feels like it was skimmed through so that the author could start the main events of Canon as soon as possible. The only other problem with the story (I think it's more a merit than a demerit though) is that the main character goes through several major developments that don't always make sense the best example of this is what happened with Oetsu, a sudden shift took place and while I seriously enjoyed the villainous Ori and her schemes I still don't understand why she choose to do what she did as I said the development of her character is clear but it is also sometimes very sudden. It's certainly easier to write criticism than praise so I'm sorry if you disagree but I love this story and being so close to the end, the anticipation is killing me, even if it were to stay without an ending this story would still be a story well worth reading.
