Metropolis was no Gotham City but it still had its fair share of troubles. From pshyco cyborgs hell bent on killing Superman to mere gang's with high-tech weaponry. There was always much to deal with in Metropolis, but when Superman was away everyone would get more confident to do what they want. Though that confidence quickly faded.
Usually she frequented National City, but with Kal-El away on League business she decided to patrol Metropolis for the time being. National City did not get as much trouble as the other cities did. Which is why she could freely go to Metropolis and stand in for her cousin. For awhile thing's in the city were relatively quiet barring the usual purse snatcher that was easily taken care off. Metropolis did have one of the more lower crime rates in the world, and that was all thanks to Superman. The only people foolish enough to commit a crime here were those who were too confident in their skills or power, or those who just either crazy or stupid. Large scale crimes were a rarity.
But then....
*BOOM*
As she was leisurely flying through the city, her body suddenly blurred as she vanished in a burst of immense speed. She appeared instantly where she heard the explosion, only for a bout of vertigo to hit her. Her flying slowed down but she immediately zeroed in on the situation, a few car's were ruined and layed sprawled about. The source of the explosion was a car up in flames, the metal twisted and in a mess. But someone had also damaged a building and debri were falling.
She acted quickly depsite the weakness that engulfed her, carefully she grabbed a man by the back of his shirt and pulled him out of the way just in time as a moment later chunks of debri fell to the ground. She sat him down further away from the destruction.
She immediately noticed something else, a car flew through the air and threatened to crush a couple. She went to stop it but it appeared someone beat her to the punch, the car was suddenly pulled to the side by an unseen force as it crashed into a unoccupied building. She would have thought about it more but a panicked scream caught her attention first.
Quickly she moved to someone stuck under a large chunk of debri, they squirmed under the weight but easily she reached him and despite the bout of weakness enveloping her body she easily tossed the chunk of debri to the side.
"Are you alright? Anything broken?" She asked as she helped the man to his feet.
"N-no, I'm fine." He seemed a bit winded but otherwise okay, Supergirl bid him to retreat further away from the destruction as she focused on her hearing to pick up on anyone that might be in danger.
"Mommy! Please wake up! Mommy!" In the far distance she heard the devastated voice of a little girl, her eye's honed in on her position and that's when she spotted something else. She now knew why she felt so weak, there was a man with radiating green skin. That was not just to look flashy, she recognised those radiation patterns. His body was completely comprised of Kryptonite, she did not how such a thing was possible but for now she would push that to the back of her mind.
She took off in a fast flight but she was nowhere near her top speed, the man seemed to even emitt a field of Kryptonite radiation that got more intense as she got closer.
"Damn it!" Her flying got slower and more sloppy till she altered the position of her body to land on the ground, coming to skidding halt before she ran. The Kryptonite Man finally turned his attention to the little girl as he slowly walked to her. "Shit, shit!" She was feeling more weaker the closer she got, there was no way she was going to make it in time. Even if she did there would not be much she could do, he was comprised of Kryptonite. Not only did it render her power's useless but it also weakened her. But she still ran, in hope's of atleast acting as shield for the little girl and her mother.
But it seems that yet again her intervention was not needed, as someone shot through the air and landed a drop kick on the Kryptonite Man. The result was him shooting through the air like a projectile, crashing through the walls and foundation of a nearby building. The whole building broke apart and collapsed like building block's, luckily no one was nearby the place.
But for the moment she ignored that, the Kryptonite radiation was much dimmer now so in a burst of speed she appeared next to the small girl who shrieked in surprise. The girl was in the process off sloppily wrapping the given bandages over her mother's head who was still breathing.
"S-Supergirl!?" For a moment wonder and admiration filled her eye's but the soon turned to worry. "M-my mommy won't wake up! Please help!" Supergirl gave a reassuring smile as she kneeled down next to the women.
"Don't worry, help is on the way. But could I borrow that for a moment?" She said as she gestured to the roll of bandages the girl had. The small girl hastily gave it to her as she got to work.
Though basic first aid was almost never needed for a Kryptonian, watching it being applied so many time's helped her learn. It was easy pull off now with her exceptional learning speed. So she started by undoing the roughly wrapped bandages as she studied the wound. It was deep cut in the women's forehead but nothing life threatening, the only problem was that she was losing blood. So swiftly yet carefully Supergirl wrapped the bandages around the women's head.
This is also when she picked up on various footsteps behind her. Turning she took note of medics filling the destroyed area.
"Over hear! Someone's injured!" Hearing her word's two medics hastily made their way over, Supergirl turned to the smaller girl with a smile. "It was really brave of you to help you mother. I'm sure she'd be proud." With a burst of speed she disappeared from her spot, she closed in on the destroyed building. Flying over the wreckage.
"Oh come on! I even held back with that kick!" Even from the distance she heard the voice of someone clearly, he sounded disappointed as if his day was somehow ruined.
"Better bounce though, the skirts on her way." That same voice spoke much to her irritation and a small noise followed, if she wanted to describe it sounded like space collapsing in on its self.
Her flying came to halt as she spotted something. Among the wreckage and debri layed the Kryptonite Man, no longer was he emitting those intense radiating Kryptonite. Flying down to him, she checked his pulse. He was alive, a few broken bones but alive. And judging from his injuries he was not getting up anytime soon.
With that thought in mind she focused in her hearing. And then...
"Fweh! Got away."
And then she took off with another burst of immense speed, reaching her target in a near instance. He was located atop a tall building far away from where she came from.
"Who are you calling 'skirt'?" She asked as she hoverd behind him.
He had quite the odd choice of attire. Though that mainly attributed to the fact that he had bandages wrapped around his eye's, that could have been due to an injury but she would not pry.

Long flowing golden locks with intense and piercing blue eye's on a heart shaped face. A form fitting blue long sleeved upper body suit with the house of El symbol on her chest. A red cape draped over her shoulders along with a red skirt and high red boots.
("Super hearing, of course. I'm an idiot.") Gojo said with a sigh as he stared at the flying girl. He did not want to involve himself in that Kryptonite Man situation but what kind of edgelord would leave a little girl to die? ("I really don't want to talk to any hero now, especially if I'm about to do something illegal, so....")
Supergirl waited for this strange man? Boy? To say something, until now the look on the exposed section of his face was just blank.
"I can see your panties."
"Wha-!!!" Of course hearing those word's the flusterd girl immediately threw her hands on her skirt to keep it down, only to remember she wore tights underneath. "Hey!" Gojo had already acted, clasping his hands together he disappeared in an instance.
Supergirl blinked in confusion for a few seconds before clicking her tounge.
"He was trying to distract me!" She did not know why but that kind of annoyed her. She just wanted to talk, why was he running away suddenly?
She shook her head as she focued on her hearing, and there it was. That same familiar odd sound, like something was scraping against space and reality itself. It was a unique and distinct sound that stood out even in the vastness of Metropolis. So she immediately took off and it did not even take her more than a second to find him, standing on another building.
"Yep, guess I won't be escaping." She heard him mutter as her feet touched down onto the building a few meters away from him.
"Hey why'd you run? I don't bite." She joked but her expression soon turned a bit serious. "And what was with that 'I can see your panties' crap? Wait don't tell me you also have X-Ray vision?" She looked a bit horrified at the prospect as she threw a hand over her chest and groin.
"I can't see through things." Gojo said with a dismissive hand wave. "Besides there's not really much to see, with you."
"Wha-, I-...you-" Supergirl did not quite know how to respond to that. So she merely kept quiet with a flushed face, she did not think the conversation would have been turning out like this.
"Anyway whaddya want?" Gojo asked casually as if he had not just basically insulted her a moment ago. "I expect you tracking me down and following me all the way to other side of Metropolis must mean you wanted something."
"W-well, I uhm....wanted to thank you." She spoke whilst clearing her throat, wanting to forget about the earlier embarrassment.
"Thank me?" He started a bit confused. "Don't remember doing anything for you, though."
"No, no. You saved that little girl from earlier." She verified.
"Oh that." He now seemed to recall what she meant. "It was nothing." He finished with a shrug. "If that was all that I'm outta here." He went to clasp his hands together.
"Hold on." At her behest he stopped as he raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to continue. "Are you new here by any chance? I don't remember ever seeing your face....your lower face around the city."
"What makes you say that? You're talking like you know the face of every single person in Metropolis. Wait, do you?"
"Well yeah."
"Oh. Well then yeah, guess I am new here." He confirmed as a thoughtful expression graced Supergirls features.
"Wait here for a sec." To others it would have looked like she was merely standing still, but Gojo easily spotted how her body moved and blurred before she returned with something in hand. "Here, my number."
"We just talk for a short while and your already giving me your number. How bold." Gojo said with a hand over his mouth.
"W-wait no! It's not like that! I just-"
"Calm your tits, I'm kidding." Supergirl gave a pout? As he took the piece of paper with her number scribbled on. Clearing her throat her flushed expression changed as she spoke.
"I feel like I need to thank you for doing my job for me. So if you ever want a tour around the city, then give me a call." She offerd with a bright smile that would make almost any man flusterd. With that a sonic boom that nearly deafened Gojo rang out as Supergirl disappeared in a flash.
"Thanks?" He did not quite understand why she gave him her number. Not like he would need it. So shrugging he clasped his hands together and in the next instance his vision became obscured with a rather expensive looking hotel room as well as a knife slicing through the air and straight towards him.
Of course said knife stopped inches infront of his face as chuckled upon hearing a loud tounge click.
"You should really stop doing that. You'll end up dead." He heard Ravagers voice as he turned to her. She was not wearing her usual gear, instead she wore a white tank top that showed off her slightly toned arm's. Along with that she wore black cargo pants with black boots, she also had eyepatch covering her left eye.
"Hiyah Rosie!" The scowl on her face only deepened at him calling her by his own made nickname. "I thought we were passed this, throwing a knife at my face everytime I show."
"Forgive me. With that annoying ass face I just can't help but throw a knife at it." She had long since realized that merely getting annoyed with Gojo would be getting her nowhere. It would be better to play his game until he gets bored.
Hearing her word's Gojo obviously let out an exegerated gasp as he threw a hand over his mouth in apperant shock.
"Swearing now? Young lady what would your father think?" Her response was to just throw him a murderous glare. "Kiyaah! Such a vicious gaze!" He spoke as he wrapped his arm's around himself as if to protect his chastity.
"Fine, fine. I'll stop."
"So even you're not that much of an idiot." She mutterd loud enough for him to hear.
"So cruel you are Rose. Anyway I came here to ask about the job when I still have the time." She just quirked up an eyebrow at his word's.
"Your asking me this now?" She shook her head at his idiocy. "Whatever we still have some time. Just pay attention, I'll only be going over the details once." Gojo just nodded his head at her word's.
"We'll be attacking an Intergang base." She started.
