I was one of the last people interviewed. Walking out of UA, I felt like a disappointment. Midnight showed no signs of me doing good. Not to mention I slipped when I crossed the finish line, sure I got 1st place but it didn't feel right.. The written test felt horrible. I felt like I failed, those questions were too difficult for me.
I didn't run home. I walked home slowly. By the time I got back home, it was 19:29. Molly was slightly worried but figured the tests went on for longer than expected. I shrugged. Just agree with whatever she stated. Not desiring to say how much of a disappointment I was.
Walking up the stairs felt a lot harder than normal. Dragging my feet behind me. Walking down the long hallway that felt even longer than normal. Opening my door and it creaked slightly. Closing it behind me as it created another small creak.
I flopped on my bed kicking off my shoes and taking out my ribbon. My hair tumbled down my back and it sprung out. My hair already messy became a disaster.
I sat up and put my face into my palms. Sighing softly. I wiped my eyes with the tips of my fingers as I took off my satchel I fell back onto my back. Rolling onto my side. My clothes weren't that bad to sleep in. Slowly I fell asleep and found peace in my mind.
I wasn't excited at all for the next few days waiting for the rejection letter. When it finally came the bold letters UA, were stamped at the top. I placed my index finger over the label, rubbing it. I took a deep breath as Molly entered the room.
"Did the letter arrive?" Molly walked over to the couch I was stationed at. She leaned on it with a broom in one hand. With her other hand, she softly strokes my head.
I nodded. "Yes, yes it did..." She smiled.
"There's nothing to worry about."
"Yes, there is." She shook her head.
"Open it." I glanced up at her and looked back at the letter. I took a deep breath in. Holding my breath I slowly opened it. Folding over the edges like it's a baby. Open the letter was opened I began to read the letter fully. Taking in every last sentence, word, and letter. Breathing them in oxygen.
Dear Koike,
We are delighted to inform you that you have successfully passed the exam, and we are thrilled to offer you a place as a student at UA High School. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!
We are confident that you will be an excellent addition to our student community, and we look forward to welcoming you to UA High School.
Best regards,
Principal Nezu
Reading the letter over and over again. A smile appeared on my face. My eyes glistened. I was ecstatic to know. I did not fail. I thought I did horribly. I clench the letter tightly, reading the words far too many times for it to be okay.
Molly was still smiling as if she knew this whole time I had been accepted. I jolted up from the couch and pressed the letter to my chest. "I can't believe this is happening!"
Molly let out a chuckle, "Well your uniform has also arrived." I turned around to face her. My hair trailing behind me for how fast I decided to turn.
"SERIOUSLY???" I could be jumping for joy right now!
Molly nodded. "Yes it arrived a bit ago and I placed it in your closet." Before she could expand any further I ran upstairs. Just a few days ago these stairs, this hallway they seemed so long. But now it felt too short. I flung open my door the creak louder than normal. It hit the wall and almost automatically closed.
Opening my closet I saw a bag. I slid on the floor and grabbed it. I stood up and closed my closet door. I ran to my door closing it fully.
Turning around I jumped landing on my bed, which had a little jump to it. I began to open the bag. There it was a white undershirt. A gray blazer with gold-colored buttons. Green stripes on the collar and the tips of the sleeves. There was a long red tie. It also had a green colored skirt. Lastly, there were a pair of white colored stockings.
Seeing the outfit made me question if this is happening. I pulled out the clothes and placed them on the bed. The first day of school would be starting in 3 days from now.
I smiled softly. "May as well try it on!" I took off my slippers and began trying on the outfit.
I entered the bathroom grabbing my brush before I could put the brush to my hair, I saw the outfit. It fits me perfectly. I placed my brush down scanning the outfit. It's perfect besides the fact the skirt is quite short. It doesn't even go halfway down my thigh.
I played around with it but maybe that's why they gave me stockings. I did a little spin. It fits and it will cover, but why is it so short? I tucked in my blazer and it gave it a cuter look. I grabbed my brush and began brushing my hair, I brushed it so much that it stayed perfect for the rest of the time I was in the bathroom. I put my hair in a low ponytail.
It made me realize how my messy hair gave me a personality. I stared at my reflection, and the moment finally hit; I was about to go to UA High School.

Final Notes-
I should leave a misspelled word in here to see if anyone will notice. Anyway, thanks for joining me on this chapter.
This is also the first chapter that has a title not based on the anime. I like basing it off the anime so I can be like, everything in this episode needs to happen. But since the chapter was getting too long I decided to just change the title and move that to Chapter 6. Anyhow, the next chapter will skip to the first day of school!
Thanks again for reading this I'm trying to make this okay but I'm not a pro. 😗
