Reunion with Gine

Bardock returned to his home after a week of survival in space.

With the help of a Leviathan and space debris, the Saiyan managed to send distress signals to Freezer's legion.

Aid arrived in a day, and after summarizing everything that happened in Subnautica, as Freezer ordered, Bardock searched for the briefcase prepared by the soldiers.

Inside, he found a sample of the Kharaa bacteria and the antidote produced in the laboratory.

Upon delivering it, his rescue ship received a call from headquarters.

When the screen lit up, Freezer appeared floating on his throne. His pink skin looked purple under the room's projected light.

"So... How did you survive the explosion?" Freezer was bored. Before discussing business, he preferred to hear about how the monkey wallowed in space.

"The Leviathans helped me." The space whales carried him to the less destroyed wreckage until he found a transmitter.

In any case, after repeating the report, Freezer granted him the freedom to return to the planet Vegeta.

Which he did.

Bardock's thoughts cleared before he entered to proclaim his return. Now he was completely healed, and that's why he shouted with more energy, "Gine! I'm home!"

"Bardock!" Gine emerged from the kitchen with a giant knife, only to leave it anchored to the ground as she rushed towards her man. Both Saiyans embraced each other.

It had been about a month and a half since he left on missions. They missed each other so much that they didn't separate even after five minutes.

"How are Raditz and Kakarot?" Bardock started the conversation, they had so much to talk about that he couldn't wait to ask about the rest of his family.

"Raditz has been leaving the planet lately with Prince Vegeta. He's safe, but I hope he doesn't hang out with Nappa. I've heard rumors that he's a pervert who forced many Saiyans against their will."

Gine's face twisted in disgust. Even on a planet where the strongest is revered the most, sexual aggression is despised by everyone, whether the perpetrator or the victim. The perpetrator would be known for his rudeness. And the victim would be discriminated against, as if a dog had peed on them and they left the house smelling. These people would be despised and abused by others if they lacked strength or support.

"But I'm even more worried about our second son, Kakarot. He's already resting in his incubation pod, but according to the data provided by the system, his progress is not promising."

Gine slid away from the embrace, standing on her feet, pacing back and forth in thought. Her face lit up as she faced Bardock.

"Maybe it would be even better to take care of him ourselves, think about it!" * Gine* "Taking care of our baby and taking him to my work to show off to my other friends." *Gine *"And..."

"Gine!" Bardock interrupted Gine's ramblings.

"Huh?" Gine's confused face was quick to appear. Normally Bardock wouldn't interrupt her babbling.

"You know it's not possible... It's impossible for the machine not to nourish our baby properly and only come out with single-digit combat power. Right?"

Bardock takes the upbringing of his children very seriously. Although he may love them weak, that doesn't change the fact that he desires their strength.

The breeding machine has proven its usefulness with all the other Saiyans, including Kakarot's brother Raditz, he sees no reason to change it.

'That was a terrible event,' Gine sighed.

The results of the first generation raised by the machine would be announced to show the potential of our race.

Bardock's stomach burned with desire. He wanted to scare Gine to see her reaction. Gossiping about things he heard in the castle or on missions had become a habit between them.

That in itself was surprising, Saiyan physiques are made for fighting, they don't usually sweat unless their body is in a state of over-exertion.

"Okay okay... Calm down! Have faith in our son! Hahaha! He's the son of Commander Bardock!"

"Commander?! Have you been promoted?! Awesome! Which battalion?" Gine asked excitedly.

"Hahaha! Of course! I'm the commander of Bardock's Supreme Saiyan Squadron!" Bardock, waiting for this moment, laughed heartily to say the name he chose with care and confidence.

Gine's expression changed to a blank one, so blank it seemed like that of a corpse. She opened her mouth to say indifferently.

"Oh... Yeah."

"What do you mean?" (Oh yeah?!) Bardock imitated Gine with the latter.

"Obviously, it's a great name as powerful as Freezer's legion's name!" Bardock explained.

"That's a horrible name!" Gine didn't seem so convinced, she even dared to reject the name chosen by Freezer.

"But that's the name chosen by Freezer! He's a super powerful being!" Bardock didn't give up on his choice, in any case, the name was already chosen, and he couldn't change it until his death.

"That's the name chosen by a child, as far as I know, Freezer is still a child among his kind."

Gine's argument was undeniable.

Bardock was paralyzed until he received a glass of juice from Gine.

"Oh thanks... Mmmm What fruit is this?" The purple juice looked concentrated, but its texture was as liquid and clean as water.

"I don't know! But tell me... Have you chosen the warriors for your squadron yet?" Gine asked.

"I plan for Tooma, Selypar, Pumbukin, and Totappo to join." Bardock responded satisfactorily.

"Aren't they the friends who went with you to Kanassa? Where are they now?" Gine asked with a smile. A smile that froze when Bardock's ki became heavy with his feelings.

'Right... They went with me to Subnáutica....'
