First Encounter?

After coming back into my assigned room, I noticed that the meat I had putted into the stove was already been overcooked.

"I don't really know if my luck is good or bad..."

I said but still ate that overcooked meat.

"Flesh of green-scaled beast eaten. One ordinary Geno point gained.

After hearing this notification for a total of 8 times, the meat was finished. Increasing my ordinary Geno points tally to 25 points. I then putted the primitive meat in the stove to cook while complaining about the bad taste of the overcooked meat.

"Han Sen should be killing Swift Mantis tomorrow. Should I join as well? Or not? But he has that sacred-blood Armour while I don't even have a primitive one...Ugh, I don't care. I'm going there tomorrow myself as well. I thought.

"Oh, it's ready". After waiting for 15 minutes the meat was ready. After eating the meat of the primitive-blood creature, I got a total of 7 more primitive Geno points.

It was already night, so I teleported back to my home by the traveling train. Seems like the method of teleportation got changed. I hoped for Qin Xuan to not notice me. After coming back home safely I slept till morning and then teleported back to the steel Armour Shelter.

"Anyways I remember getting my first beast soul of primitive blood Copper toothed beast. I know how it looks like because I read it's description once in the novel." I said.

Without wasting any time, I thought of the copper toothed beasts beast soul. Suddenly a copper light flooded from me and taken a shape of crescent spear. It was still in the color of copper though.

"I only have some basic sword skills and I don't really know how to use a spear but it's all I got for now."

Without wasting much time I got to the same area where I had killed those green-scaled beasts. There I found many more green-scaled beasts. After summoning all of my ordinary beasts and primitive beasts soul, I attacked the herd of green-scaled beasts. Killing them non-stop with the help of my Devil Souls.

Ordinary green-scaled beast killed. Green-scaled beasts beast soul gained. Eat it's Flesh to gain 0 to 10 Geno points randomly.

After killing my 77th green-scaled beast, I finally managed to get it's beast soul.

Type of the green-scaled beast beast soul: pet.

"Nani? Wth? It wasn't mentioned in the novel as what type of beast soul it was but to think it was an ordinary pet Beast Soul? I can't afford to raise a pet for now because I'm not still strong." I said in a saddened tone.

After killing my hundredth green-scaled beast, a notification suddenly popped up in front of me.

"Huh? Good timing, this storage is a must for the iskaied protagonists. I was just thinking as for where is my bonus pack of getting transmigrated. To think I'm getting it like this...

"Inventory open. Was it?" I said and the space before me twisted a little revealing an open space. After that I stuffed it with all my kills, I had killed 108 green-scaled beasts till now to complete this quest. And the reward is also worth the effort I must say. I was planning to sell the green-scaled beasts I had killed just now. After making a soup from two of the ordinary green-scaled beasts. I gained another 2 Geno points increasing my ordinary tally to 27.

"Well, I guess it's time to head of to the Zephyr Valley. The place where I will encounter the protagonist for the first time." I said while walking towards the valley full of Swift Mantis.

To my journey to the Zephyr Valley, the more close I got to the valley the more less people appeared before me and upon reaching my destination all I could see was a person standing there.

"Hey brother!." I shouted before going next to him. "Are you here to hunt Swift Mantises as well?" I asked him.

"Uh, no. I'm just here because someone told me to gather some information about this place but I was planning to enter it anyway." He said. " But are you planning to kill those things?" He asked.

"How could I? I just entered the shelter yesterday. I just heard that this place is very interesting to kill some primitives creatures so I rushed here as fast as I can." I answered but this was obviously a lie.

"Anyways, I'm Su Xiaoqiao, what about you?"

"I'm Liu Cheng, a newbie. I have heard a lot about you Mr. Su. Nice to meet you." I responded in a grateful manner.

"Haha... Is that so? I'm glad to hear it. But wait, this isn't a place for newbies. I advice you to return as fast as you can Mr. Liu." He said with a concern in his voice.

"Ah, don't worry about it. I had some nice beasts Souls so it won't be much if a problem." I said then rushed to the entrance of the valley.

"Wait, it's too dangerous for you to go alone brother." Su Xiaoqiao said and began to follow me.

After entering the valley we both were surprised. Actually, I was pretending to be surprised. After all, I already knew that this was gonna happen. The green blood of the mantises were splattered everywhere you could see. Upon going a bit deeper, a golden man could be seen holding a dagger with green blood on it.

"Brother did you killed all of these? Su Xiaoqiao asked to the golden man.

"Want some? Thousand levo dollars for eac-

"I'll take 10 of those then." I said before the golden man was even able to complete his sentence.

"Sure then, what about you?" The golden man asked Su Xiaoqiao.

"The total number is 43 and if this brother takes 10 then I can only sell you 33 of them in 30k levo dollars with discount. What about it?" The golden man said.

"I would love to." Su Xiaoqiao said and starting negotiating about the transfer of the money.

The golden man wasn't ready to give his bank details so he asked for cash. I also have withdrew my 10k remaining money from my bank for this moment. After paying the golden man. I began to stuff the mantises bodies in my inventory.

"Brother, what are you doing? And where did the mantises go? Su Xiaoqiao asked me. To which I said. "Ahh, it's nothing but just a mutant blood beast soul. I got it after killing a rather peculiar creature. It's a storage type beast soul by the way.

"A mutant blood beast soul!. Seriously brother? Are you planning to sell it? I would surely buy it." Su Xiaoqiao asked me to which I instantly said no.

I'm sure the golden man wasn't that surprised after all he also got a great treasure from the stomach of a turtle. Which was even more hilarious than this. After stuffing the Swift Mantises bodies I tried to extract their Souls. Some of them were cut in 3 parts which made them lose their 50% body mass. So I wasn't able to extract from them. But just when I tried to extract my second Swift Mantis Devil Soul. A strange voice appeared in front of me.

"Devil Soul Capacity is full. (14/14). You can't extract anymore Devil Soul. Please try to disband some of them from your deck."

"Yes" I thought and all of my ordinary Devil Souls disappeared.

After that I offered Su Xiaoqiao to carry all of his Swift Mantises bodies for an amount of 1 Swift Mantis. To which he said okay. After trying my luck on his dead bodies I was able to completely fill my Devil Soul Capacity which was now (14/14). I could see the golden man and Su Xiaoqiao Talking about something, but I didn't pay them any mind because I already knew what he was saying to him. After coming back to the shelter and returning Su Xiaoqiao his loot. I get into hunting again. After going near a herd of primitive Copper Toothed Beast. I summoned all of my Swift Mantises and one Copper Toothed beast Devil Soul's.

I was just standing there without doing anything because I can't really fight a herd of these beasts, not long ago I was an inch away from being crippled because of these same Beasts.

"Swift Mantises have an increase in all of their stats, So they should be able to kill these Copper beasts with their forelegs which could even split apart a human skull with a single blow. My Copper Toothed beast Devil soul wasn't doing much damage to them, but the Swift Mantises were in their own league. After attacking a copper beast in it's head with their forelegs, that copper beast was killed instantly.

"Primitive-blood Copper Toothed beast killed. Beast soul of copper toothed beast gained. Eat it's Flesh to gain zero to ten primitive Geno points randomly."

"I guess they really are the weakest primitive creature."

After killing a total 15 of them in just 10 minutes, I was able to get 3 of their beast souls. So now I have 4 crescent spear beast soul and 13 ordinary pet Beast Soul. I also disintegrated 3 of my Swift Mantises Devil Soul's to to add the copper beast Devil Souls to my collection.

I quickly moved from there and and returned to the shelter because I knew that Han Sen was going to hunt here. And if he sees me with my Devil Souls, it would've been quite a problem.

After returning to my room, I began to count my Devil Souls. Now I had 4 copper toothed and 10 Swift Mantis Devil Souls. " Nice, for now it's all good I guess." I said and putted the primitive creatures meat on the stove. After eating all the meat around 30 minutes have passed.

After eating all the meat I had cooked, I was able to get another 5 primitive points. Increasing my primitive genes tally to 12.

After that, I got into the market to sell some of my Devil Souls, but no matter how hard I tried I wasn't able to sell even 1 of my pet Beast Souls.

"I guess pet Beasts Souls aren't that famous for the time being." I remember after seeing Han Sen's Holy Angel in her fighting mode, Some people were so shocked that they even forgot to breathe.

After selling 2 of my crescent spear, I was able to get 50k levo dollars by bargaining so much. Even if they were weapon type Beast soul, in the end they were only primitive beast souls.

Even the difference between primitive to mutant blood was so high. Because a person can't buy the flesh of a mutant creature easily.

"Anyways, I guess it's about time they will be fighting Bloody Slayer. Isn't it?." I thought.

After eating and killing a few more primitive beasts my Geno points tally was increased so much.

"Hmm? My Geno points are increasing quite nicely." I had killed so many primitive beast in these past two days, and today's the day when the three best gangs of this shelter would be fighting a sacred-blood creature.

I heard that Qin Xuan was recruiting lone wolves and and group hunters in her gang for this fight. I also applied for it because I might as well as try to get it's Devil Soul.

On the sunset slope, a beast with the head of a cow, upper body of a human and lower body of a horse was killing humans like tofu. I didn't even dared to go near to it because I also knew that I would've been nothing but a pile of meat lying on the ground if I attacked it. Soon after killing so many people the beast roared and started to run in the forest.

"You dare to run away after killing so many of my men?" Son of heaven said and pulled out his sacred blood one time use weapon and blasted it towards the sacred Beast, making a hole in it's chest.

The beast groaned in pain and fell on the ground. But suddenly a green light appeared out of nowhere revealing a man in a golden armour. That said man suddenly lifted the sacred gear of the sacred Beast on its back and also made the last attack on the body of the sacred Beast. After doing all of these in a single moment, he ran towards the forest.

"Dollar!!" A young man shouted in the crowd upon seeing this spectacle. Suddenly all people turned their gaze towards him. Sending a chill down to his spine. He must've regretted it saying on a moment like this.

The cursing of Son of Heaven could be heard. Soon enough, he and his gang began to chase Dollar. Leaving the sacred-blood Beasts body.

I quickly moved to a radius of 15m from the sacred Beasts body and tried to extract it's Devil Soul.

"Devil Soul of Bloody Slayer added in your deck. Devil soul count increased by 1." I was happy but I controlled my happiness at that moment, all of them were so pissed off that if they see someone laughing, it won't take long for him to become the next laughing stock.

In another room, I and Su Xiaoqiao stood in front of Qin Xuan. Su Xiaoqiao was almost in tears, but I wasn't. Su Xiaoqiao was trying to convince Qin Xuan as how he don't know who dollar is and also how he bought Swift Mantis with him and carried it with me.

"So that's why I'm here? For real? Should I have just passed by without helping him? Well what's done is done anyways." I thought.

"All the things that Xiaoqiao said is true, ms. Qin. I can even show you my mutant beast soul which can store things." I said trying to get both of their attention.

"I'm not blaming the two of you. If you get to meet dollar again, tell him that I want to buy his sacred-blood gear and beast soul.

"But we don't really know where he could be." Su Xiaoqiao and I said at the same time.

"Then go and find him and tell him about my deal. Dismissed." She said without waiting for a reply.

After coming back to my room. I started to cut the copper beast meat and then dried it, making it beef jerky. I then did it for another 2 hour. making jerky of every creature that I had, and then stored it in my inventory.

The good thing was that the items in the inventory can't be spolied and 300m² is also quite large. Suddenly, a notification appeared in my mind.

"New weekly quest has appeared. Complete your primitive Geno points within this week."

"Hmm? What's this? It seems like a skill." I thought while preparing to kill some new primitive beast.

After traveling for an hour, I was in the deeper areas of the first God's Sanctuary. There was almost no human. So I quickly summoned my newest Devil Soul by saying. "Summon: Bloody Slayer."

Soon enough, the gruesome creature appeared in front of me. But what surprised me the most was that he still had his sacred gear in his hands.

"Huh? Why he still had it? Is it like his own body part? Well who knows."

After hopping on its back, I ordered him to travel even deeper. In some areas I was able to spot some primitive creatures. I ordered the Bloody Slayer to kill them and he did it nonetheless.

"Primitive creature green-scaled beast killed. No beast soul gained. Eat it's flesh to gain zero to ten Geno points randomly.

"Primitive creature Iron-toothed crocodile. No beast soul gained. Eat it's flesh to gain zero to ten Geno points randomly.

"Primitive creature Black turtle killed. Black turtle beast soul gained. Eat it's flesh to gain zero to ten Geno points randomly.

After killing some new primitive creatures I stuffed them in my inventory. Just as I was traveling deeper. A Copper Toothed beast which was bronze colored appeared before me.

"Fu*k. Is it a mutant or perhaps sacred blood?" I said while hopping back from the Bloody Slayers back.

I commanded bloody slayer to attack it and also summoned all of my remaining Devil Souls. As I have just gotten a primitive black turtle beast soul. I also summoned it and a black armour covered my whole body. With a crescent spear on my right hand and a swift mantis standing on my left shoulder. I attacked the sacred Beast in it's back while the Swift Mantis attacked it's head. To which the beast didn't even flinch but pierced a hole in the Mantis body, killing him on the spot. I quickly retreated and waited.

By now I had realized that it was surely a sacred-blood creature.

Although Bloody Slayer Devil Soul and The Copper Toothed beast were both sacred-blooded. The power gap was still high because the Bloody Slayer was that of a high caliber with a sacred gear, on the other hand, Copper Toothed beast was the lowest ranked sacred Beast. So I wasn't really sacred of me getting killed there. After watching their fight for almost half an hour while eating beef jerky of green-scaled beast. Bloody Slayer was able to make a hole in the body of the copper toothed beast.

"Sacred-blood Copper Toothed Beast killed. Beast soul of sacred-blood Copper Toothed beast gained. Eat it's flesh to gain zero to ten sacred Geno points randomly.

"Well all good. At least I got my first sacred Devil soul. But it's a spear... Anyways I should extract it now. "Extract". I said.

"Extract failed. The Devil Soul of the creature will disappear in 24 hours."

"Extract" I said again trying to find a loophole.

"You can't extract a Devil Soul again that you had extracted once."

"Tf? I guess no one would've this dumb to give me a loophole like this." I thought saddened.

After that, I stuffed the sacred blood creature and all the other primitive creatures I had killed in my inventory. After hopping onto the Bloody Slayer back again. I traveled back to the shelter, upon finding a good spot near the shelter. I cancelled all of my summons and get into my room.

"Flesh of primitive turtle eaten. One primitive Geno points gained."

"Flesh of Green-scaled beast eaten. One primitive Geno points gained."

After eating for almost 23 hours I was able to fill up my primitive Geno points tally to Max.

A voice appeared in my head. Till now I had almost eaten 17 types of primitive creatures that I had killed before. I can already feel that I'm stronger than before. Well should I try my luck again? Extract." I said while pointing my hand to the dead body of the sacred-blood creature.

"Failed to extract. The soul of the Copper Toothed Beast will soon return to the originators embrace.

"What the hell is with this last flashy line? Is the system trying to mock me? Not that I can do anything about it even if it's doing it intentionally.

*Sigh

After teleporting with the traveling train back to my home. I slept for almost 15 hours. I was so exhausted that I didn't care about the time. After waking up I teleported back to the shelter because that's the only thing I can do for now. I don't have any money so I can't really buy me something. Not even a small house.

After coming back to the shelter I bumped into Qin Xuan on my way to the room.

"Ms. Qin , good timing. I was hoping to trade a scared blood beast soul with you." I said in a polite manner.

Although my looks weren't half-assed, I knew that she wasn't a woman who would fall for my looks.

"A sacred-blood beast soul? Let's talk about it in my office. Follow me." She said.

In another room. I stood in front of Qin Xuan. But I wasn't alone, because there also was Yang Manli, her manager.

"So, you were talking about a sacred-blood beast soul? Mind if I take a loon on it?." She asked.

"Please do." I said and summoned my crescent spear which was bronze and silver colored. Handing it over to her.

"Hmm? It really seems like a sacred blood weapon, but there aren't that many spear-men in our shelter. And lastly, where did you get it from?

"Ah, about that. I just get it after making a last attack on a dying sacred-blood creature which was fighting another Sacred Beast. I just got lucky because after attacking it, the other sacred Beast ran away half injured." I said.

I guess it was an obvious lie but I can't think of anymore than this.

"Hmm? Ok. I will buy it for 12 million levo dollars." She said.

"20 million levo dollars." I stated my price.

"20 million is too big for a weapon like this, how about 15 million? She asked.

"20 million no less, no more. On top of that, its a weapon type beast soul" I said in a confident tone.

"Ok then". she said and and I transferred my beast soul to her.

"Why did you give this to me now? I didn't even have payed you you money. Aren't you afraid that I will not give this back to you?" She said with a smirk on her face.

"You are a respectable woman. So I can't really think you are gonna do that." I said with a smile on my face and left her with a dumbfounded expression on her face.

"Was I cool at that time? Who knows, I was trying my best to make a first good impression though." I thought.

In the other room. "Do you want me to check his background?" Yang Manli asked Qin Xuan.

"Yeah, do a background check on him and if he seems good enough, recruit him in our gang then.

"Today's my lucky day or bad day? I got 20 million dollars and even got a nice skill. Let alone that, even my Primitive Geno points are full. For now let's return to the over-world."

After teleporting back with the traveling train again, I got a message in my smartphone.

"20 million dollars had been credited in your A/C...."

"So fast."

"For now, I should try to buy something good which will help me in my combat. But my Devil Souls are the one that do the most of the work, while I always idle around."
