Chapter 15: Saturday Nights!

Until 2:00 in the morning, Victoria couldn't sleep. In the end, she sighed frustratedly and got up. For the first time since she left home, she let her heart rule over her mind. After freshening up, she changed her clothes.

She wore black jeans with a black collar shirt. Then she wore a leather coat over it. Then she packed her black leather backpack before wearing her black bike riding boots. After that, she went down into the garage. She had a collection of bikes and cars. She had it before too and she collected them again as she liked them.

Going into the bikes section, there was a key stand that opened with her fingerprints. After opening the key stand, Victoria picked out the first key hanging there. It was a black and white Ducati Panigale V4. She didn't choose it because it was her favourite but rather because it was fast.

She sat down on the bike and took out the plain black Bluetooth motorcycle helmet. There were also gloves with it as she wore them. Finally, she started the bike.

" Vrooooommm... " The voice was quite loud.

The garage had a very high-security system with sensors. She also had a watchman there. As the sensor sensed her going out, the gates opened themselves. After she was out, they closed.

As it was in the middle of the night, there wasn't much traffic. She quickly arrived at the highway and drove off. There were two main cities in their country. The first one was the capital city. Also known as City M. The other was City Z which was her birthplace. City Z was only second to City M.

Victoria drove there. With the bike as fast as this, it would only take her 3 hours to reach there. While driving, she played some travelling songs such as 'Castle on the Hill, On my Way, Night Changes, End Game, Hymn for the Weekend, Saturday Nights etc.

After one hour, she took a break at a 24-hour hotel. After drinking a hot coffee, she took off in 10 minutes. The next time she stopped was after 1 and a half hours. This hotel she stopped at has good scenery. Taking up the coffee, she went outside and rested her back on the bike as she looked at the beautiful scenery that calmed her nervous mind.

The sky was black. There was a small river in front of the hotel reflecting the moon and the hotel. Behind the river was a forest full of trees but there weren't any dangerous animals.

She stayed there for 15 minutes as she felt good. Her birthday had already started at midnight. After getting peace of mind, she drove off once again. This time she didn't stop until she arrived in the area of her house. As they were wealthy, they had their house in the best area of that city. While Lazslo Corporation rules over the capital city, her family ruled over City Z. It was a beautiful and joyful city with lots of exciting things.

If she was a stranger, it would have been impossible to get inside but as a resident of there, everyone had an identity card. Those who had it can enter there. Those who regularly live there didn't need to show it as the watchmen recognise them but those who come once in a while needed it.

Victoria stopped her bike in front of the watchmen who come to stop her. Before he could say anything, she handed her identity card to him. He was a new watchman who didn't saw Victoria before so he just carefully checked her identity card before letting her in. After getting inside, Victoria slowly drove towards her home. It was a familiar side but it had locked away many precious and painful memories of her.

After a long time, she arrived in front of a villa. The security at her house was the topmost. It was really hard to get in there but for her, it was easy. After all, she lived there for so long. When she had to hang out with her friends in the middle of the night without informing her parents, she had gone out through the back door. The backdoor was only opened by the fingerprints of the family members and it was for emergencies but Victoria and Mike used it to their advantage.

Victoria wondered if it would still have her fingerprints registered.
