Hero Work Studies! Sibling Duo Strike!

During winter break, we were told that we had more hero work studies. I already planned on going to Annie's agency ever since Dad died.

"Alyx, where do you plan on going?" Momo asked.

"Oh, I'm going to my sister's agency. I haven't been around my family in a while, so I thought it would be the perfect time to do that." I told her.

"Oh, okay," She said, "Do you think that I could come along as well? I'm not really sure what agency I want to go to. I can't really decide."

"Yeah, sure! I'm sure she'll let you intern with her!" I smiled.

We headed to Annie's agency, which wasn't too far from U.A. It's kind of nice that she's here and not back in America.

I hit the buzzer, "Who is it?"

"It's me! Alyx Leonidus, Annie's brother. I'm here to do a Hero Work Study." I replied.

I heard the door unlock, Momo and I went inside. The place was huge, almost like Ms. Mirko's agency!

"Alyx!" I heard Annie's voice.

She ran over and hugged me, "Oh, who's this?"

"Nice to meet you, Fourth Gear. My name's Momo Yaoyorozu." She introduced herself.

"Hey, I remember you now! You were the one who invited Alyx over for dinner! Man, that was a long time ago! So, I'm certain that Eraserhead has already made you familiar with these work studies. So, I'll get to the point. You'll be helping me out with the requests and calls from all over the city. We usually get about 45-50 calls per hour, which is why I have so many people on patrol nowadays." Annie told us.

Geez, that's a lot of calls! I wonder how many of them are serious crimes?

[Several Days Later...]

It was the final day of our study. There wasn't much going around, besides the petty thievery and stolen vehicle calls. There were definitely a lot of calls like Annie told us there'd be. We entered the agency again and heard someone shouting.

"Fourth Gear! We've got an emergency!" A secretary yelled.

"What? What is it?" Annie replied.

"It's Sudden Death! There have been reports that he's broken out of prison!" Her secretary informed.

Annie looked at Momo, "Well, I guess we know what we're doing today!"

I looked at Momo, she knew exactly what I was thinking.

"Here we go again..." I told her telepathically.

[15 Minutes Later...]

When we got to the prison, Kariya was standing on top of a police car, with an officer in his grasp!

"Ah, what a surprise! How's it going, Annie, Alyx? I see you've brought that girlfriend of yours along with you as well." Kariya announced.

"Wait...You two are dating?!" Annie asked me telepathically.

"Yes, now, let's focus, please!" I responded back to her; I could feel my cheeks turn red.

"So, what's the big idea? You couldn't just stay out of trouble for a while?" Annie asked Kariya.

"You know me too well... Don't you?" Kariya smirked.

In an instant, Kariya dropped the police officer, and was in front of us! He let out a huge blast of his Overdrive! Debris flew towards all three of us as we were knocked back.

I rebounded, "Overdrive: Mode Two!"

I went towards Kariya! I got in front of him, he swung his right hand at me, but I side stepped him and uppercut him! Annie threw Momo at him, I didn't even notice that Momo had created a staff! She sent him flying back, Kariya retaliated with those Overdrive Whips! I knocked some of them away, but I noticed something. Kariya injected himself with something? It was a red liquid, what was it?

"Was that...?" Momo started to say.

Then, his Quirk erupted! I never felt something so strong before! What did he just do to himself?! His eyes, they were glowing Gold like his Overdrive, I could see his veins glowing the same color in his face!

"Now... PREPARE TO DIE!!" He cackled.

Kariya sounded insane! Whatever he injected himself with, his quirk was going off the charts! I didn't even look up for a second and he was in front of me, he hit me in the face, and I flew into the ground!

"H-How...?" I muttered.

He turned his attention from me and went to Momo and Annie. In seconds he took them out! I slowly got back up, and I rushed him from behind! I punched him in the face at full power! But he just took the punch like it was nothing!

"Cute..." He smiled.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me in, before I could react, he hit me with a flurry of punches. He slammed me into the ground.

"How ironic, if I remember correctly, the roles were swapped a while ago." He laughed as he flew up into the air.

"I'm not losing... Especially to you, Alyx." He retorted.

I couldn't move at all, plus, I was bleeding heavily. All of those strikes he launched at me should've killed me. I looked over and saw Momo and Annie. They both were bleeding as bad as I was. I mustered up all the strength I could in order to get up.

"Oh, you can still stand? I'm surprised you can do that, let alone breathe." I heard Kariya say.

Annie slowly got up as well, I looked over and saw Momo, she was unconscious. I grabbed one of the capsules out of my pocket and opened it behind my back as he was focused on Annie.

"It's a shame, really. I wanted to torment you more with my new powers. But I guess killing you now doesn't have to wait!" Kariya yelled.

I looked over to Annie, "H-Hey... You've got a... P-plan?"

She nodded her head and smiled. I looked back up at Kariya, he was coming down quick! He's covered himself completely in his Overdrive.

"Jump, now!" Annie told me.

Annie and I jumped into the air, and in unison, we both yelled, "PHOENIX DANCE!!"

Using our Overdrive, we somehow created a Phoenix out of our combined energy! We hit Kariya dead on! We broke through his Overdrive and hit him in the face!

"YOU'RE FINISHED!!!" We shouted.

We sent him back down into the ground, making a huge crater! We slowly came down from the sky, and steam was coming off our arms. I put my arm down and stumbled over to Momo.

"H-Hey... Momo... Are you... O-Okay...?" I questioned.

She was finally conscious, she nodded her head and slightly smiled. Annie healed Momo and I up, since she was way better at healing than I was. On the car ride back to the dorms, I sat there in deep thought. I know I'm never going to remember my past, only bits and pieces of it. Maybe, one day, I'll look back and actually remember everything. I sure as hell am not taking the things I have now for granted, but it would be nice to remember everything from my past again. I felt Momo grab my hand, I looked over to her and noticed that she was looking out of the car window. I guess she could tell something was wrong. We entered the dorms, and everyone was doing the usual.

"Leonidus-san, what's with that look on your face?" Deku asked.

I didn't even realize that I was staring into space until he said something.

"Oh, huh? I was just thinking. That's all." I answered.

"Oh, well, what were you thinking about?" He questioned.

"Well, I guess, as cliché as it'll sound. You guys have really made my life enjoyable. Honestly, if it ever comes down to it, I'd sacrifice myself for you guys. Not like, I'd sacrifice myself legitimately, like I'd give something up for you guys if it meant keeping you safe!" I beamed.

Deku looked at me, "Oh? W-Well, thank you, Leonidus-san."

I guess I couldn't blame him for not knowing how to respond.

"Yo guys! Look!" I heard Kaminari shout over to us.

Him, Kirishima, and Sero were watching the T.V. intensely as a commercial about some sort of convention came on.

"Can we go?! It'll be fun, I promise!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Yeah! We'll have loads of fun!" Sero added.

I was kind of confused, why would a convention be advertising a few months in advance?
