A Break in the Action (Movie Saga)

We got back to the hotel after we got ice cream. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if some giant alien comes out of the ground and tries to destroy the planet! After I got out of the shower and after I brushed my teeth, I heard a knock on my door. I put sweatpants on and answered it.

"Hey." Momo smiled.

I let her in my room, "G-Geez, it's really c-c-cold in here!"

"Yeah, my air conditioner's a bit wonky. It'll stop here in a bit." I replied.

I put on a t-shirt and laid down on my bed, Momo laid down next to me.

"So, I've been thinking, since it's really just us in here now... Alone..." Momo cooed as she ran her finger down my chest.

I gasped with excitement, "Are you saying...?"

Momo and I got closer to each other.

"WE CAN STAY UP ALL NIGHT WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT DYING!?!" We both exclaimed

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! I"M TRYING TO SLEEP IN HERE!!" We heard Bakugo shout from the room next to us.

We both quietly laughed, "Yeah! Let's do it!"

We sat up and thought about what to do. Hmm... This was actually a lot tougher than what I thought!

"Are you thinking?" I asked Momo.

Momo rubbed her head, "I'm not doing that. I'm thinkening."

"W-What? What in the hell did you just say? Thinkening?!" Momo and I couldn't stop laughing!

"H-H-Hey... Come here." I snickered.

Momo was trying not to laugh as well, I leaned in closer, right to her ear.

"The hoerney... It is REAL..." I whispered.

We started laughing once again, I'm pretty sure I heard Bakugo scream into his pillow. We eventually went through at least 30 games of Rock, Paper, Scissors. She won by ONLY one game.

"Oh, come on! There's no way!" I exclaimed.

Momo giggled at me, "It's just Rock, Paper, Scissors. It's not that complicated!"

We decided to lay down. There wasn't anything else we could think of that didn't involve leaving the hotel. I pulled the blankets up close to us and we faced each other.

"You know, if you never came to Japan, I'd probably be dead." Momo told me.

"Yeah, probably. I'd be dead too, if it didn't figure out how to use my Base Mode!" I responded.

I didn't even notice, but she had a scar above her right eye! I put my hand on her cheek.

"Woah, where'd you get that scar?" I asked.

"I got it from when we fought Kariya, remember?" She reminded me.

"Oh, yeah! I guess I forgot!" I chuckled as Momo cuddled up next to me.

"Does that make us scar buddies?" I jokingly whispered.

Momo just laughed, "I guess so! Goodnight, Alyx."

"Goodnight, Momo." I kissed her forehead.

[The Next Morning...]

"You can't sit here and tell me that hotel scrambled eggs AREN'T the best thing in the world!" I debated with Deku.

Deku sat there in thought.

"I think that waffles are a lot better here. That's just my preference though. What do you think, Uraraka?" He responded.

Uraraka looked at us from her mound of breakfast food.

"Yesh." She replied with her mouth full of pancakes.

Deku and I laughed, and Uraraka managed to as well without choking on her food. I heard Annie call my name.

"Alyx! Do you know what day it is?" She asked me.

I pulled out my phone, "It's the 24th of July, why? Is there something important going on?"

"It's your 17th birthday!" Annie exclaimed as she gave me a hug.

"My birthday is today? Whaaaat?" I questioned.

"Yo! Your birthday's today? Awesome!" Kirishima exclaimed.

I guess it was! After breakfast, we went back to our rooms to get ready for the day. I decided I should wear that Deep Dope shirt I got from the concert last night. I put it on, was this a crop top shirt?! Did I buy the right shirt? I mean, the sleeves are like my other shirts, so maybe it was meant to be like this? I left my room and walked out towards Kirishima's room. I knocked on his door and after a couple minutes, he opened it.

"Woah, man! That's rockin'!" Kirishima grinned.

"You think so? I'm not so sure I like it." I wondered with uncertainty.

"Yeah, Alyx! It looks 'dope'! I like it!" Kirishima laughed after the pun he made.

I put my hand on my head and laughed with him, "Good grief... Alright, I guess it does look 'dope' after all."

I walked away from Kirishima's room as I was walking back to my room, I heard someone yell my name.

"Hey! Alyx! Come here!" Mina yelled.

I looked over and noticed Mina and Hagakure on their tippy toes blocking something, or was it someone? I walked over to them.

"What's up?" I asked.

"So, since it's your birthday. We thought we should give you a surprise! Alright, Yaoyorozu, show him!" Mina cheerfully grinned.

Mina stepped aside and Momo stood there. Her hair was braided, she was wearing jean shorts, black & white shoes, and she was even wearing the same Deep Dope shirt that I was! Alongside a crop top ruby jacket.

I started to blush, "W-Woah... You look..."

I was astonished! I was at a loss for words, she looked so beautiful!

"... Even more beautiful!" I exclaimed while giving her a hug.

"I'm glad you love it, darling!" She smiled.

[Several Minutes Later...]

We boarded a bus to head to this amusement park for my birthday! I was super excited; I haven't been to an amusement park before! Well, I think, at least. I felt like a child going to meet one of their favorite Pro Heroes!

"You look pretty excited, Alyx." Deku noticed.

I rattled off; I was practically vibrating in my seat, "I'm just really excited you know like I get to spend my birthday with you guys and it's super-duper exciting that we're going to an amusement park since there's gonna be a whole bunch of rides and-"

"Honey, you're rambling." Momo snapped me out of my rambling.

"O-Oh! Sorry! I guess I'm just really happy that I get to spend my birthday with you guys!" I happily beamed.

After a little while or so, we arrived at the amusement park. We got off the bus and took in how big this place was!

"Please, everyone! Group up, we do not want to lose you in the park!" Iida yelled to us as we walked into the park.

We all found the biggest roller coaster we could find, and after convincing Mineta that he wouldn't die on it, we rode it! There were so many twists and turns on it, I almost activated my Quirk to make it go faster! I don't think that would've sat well with everyone else, though. There was a Merry-Go-Round that we managed to make Bakugo go on with us, it was kind of hilarious to see someone like him riding on a purple and white sparkly Zebra! He sure was pissed when he figured out that Mina, Kaminari, and Deku took a picture of him while he was riding it! Shoto wanted to head to some fun house, I stood in front of a mirror, and my image expanded!

"Hey! I look just like Fat Gum!" I joked.

Kirishima came over to the same mirror I was at. Now, we both looked like him!

"Woah! You're right!" Kirishima chuckled.

There was a maze inside of the fun house too! Which Kaminari may or may not've gotten lost in...

"AAAAH! AAAAH!" Kaminari yammered from the maze.

"Where in the hell are you, Dunce Face?! Come on!!" Bakugo shouted.

After a few minutes, Kaminari finally walked out of the maze. We decided that mazes aren't really a good group activity, so we left the fun house. We saw a Ferris Wheel in the distance, all of us made our way towards it, stopping for cotton candy along the way. Once we got to the Ferris Wheel, we all managed to get a seat on it. Momo and I ended up at the way top of the Ferris Wheel when it stopped.

"Wow, the view's so pretty!" Momo exclaimed.

I looked out towards the horizon. The sunset sky was a mixture of oranges, pinks, and dark reds.

"You know the sun kinda looks like-" Right before I said it, Momo quickly interjected me.

"An explosion, right?" She remarked.

I laughed with her, "Yeah, like an explosion!"

We sat there in silence, taking in the atmosphere. I grabbed Momo's hand and looked at her.

"I'm really glad I got to spend my birthday with you and everyone else. It honestly means a lot to me!" I beamed.

Momo blushed and smiled, "I'm glad too, Alyx!"

We leaned towards each other and kissed.

"Happy birthday, Alyx." Momo whispered in my ear.

The Ferris Wheel began to move again, and shortly after, we got off of it. Momo and I held each other hands as we all walked out of the amusement park. I had a bit of an idea. I swept her off her feet and took off into the air.

"W-Where are we going?" She asked.

"You'll see, we're gonna go pretty high up!" I told her.

I flew to a building that overlooked Las Vegas, it was beautiful! We sat down on the edge of the roof. I couldn't help but remember something.

"Listen, don't take this personally but um... I feel like I'm getting threatened by one of those mini cupcakes you can buy from the store." I told someone.

"I'M NOT A MINI MUFFIN, GOT THAT?!" She replied to me.

I opened my eyes and smiled. Momo leaned on me as we watched the sunset once more.
