Bluejam Pirates

Ace and another boy were sitting inside of a tree counting money when they heard, "So this is where you've been coming everyday, Ace!"

The boys looked down and jumped. There was a straw hat kid standing at the bottom of the tree yelling at them. They looked at each other and nodded. They both took off towards him and tied him up to the tree.

"Like I said Sabo, I'm sorry I didn't think he'd find us. Especially when I used the paths that other people deemed inhabited." Ace sighed while saying.

The blue hatted boy Sabo said, "Well what do we do now, he knows where our secret base is and he doesn't look like the kind to keep his mouth shut."

Ace thought for a second before he turned cold and said, "I guess we'll kill him."

"Yeah, I guess so." Sabo added.

Luffy looked at Ace for a second, then at Sabo. Then he started yelling and crying.

"HELP ME!!!"

"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"

"Shut him up Ace!" Sabo said panicking.

"I'm trying!" Ace said panicking himself.

"Just kill him then and get it over with!" Sabo said.

"Do you think I've done this before!" Ace said trying his best to keep calm. "I don't know how to kill someone, especially him."

"You think I have!" Sabo yelled

"PLEASE DON'T THROW ME IN THE WATER!!" Luffy begged.

"That's it the river!" Ace and Sabo said together. While this was happening, Usopp was panicking, 'There gonna kill him? He's my only friend! How can I save him?' He thought readying his pistol on his hip, but before he could act, a rough voice sounded behind the tree line.

"Did you guys here that." One said

"Sounded like a kid." Another said before continuing. "Could be Ace with Bluejam's money."

Ace and Sabo paled hearing that and grabbed Luffy before jumping behind some brush Usopp was hiding in.

"How did they find us." Ace said while holding Luffy's mouth closed.

"I don't know, but they are obviously looking for us on someone's orders." Sabo said.

"Shit, I shouldn't have gotten greedy and stole from those thugs this morning." Ace whispered to himself.

"Why would you idiots steal from pirates." A voice said behind them.

Ace and Sabo yelped out loud before covering their mouths. Luckily the pirates didn't hear them. They looked behind them and saw Usopp crouched behind them.

"What the hell are you doing here brat." Ace whispered angrily.

"Luffy wanted to find you so you'd be his friend and I followed him trying to keep him out of trouble." Usopp reasoned.

"Well looks like your doing a shit job." Sabo said pointing to Luffy being held by the biggest pirate.

"He was right here." Usopp and Ace said at the same time. They looked each other before scoffing at the other. Then the pirate carried Luffy back towards a dingy part of town.

"What if the kid tells Porchemy where we keep are money." Sabo said sounding scared.

"Is that what you should be worried about what if he kills him." Usopp said angrily.

"I don't even know the kid." Sabo argued back.

"Whatever, we need to assume he'll tell them everything and get our money and leave." Ace said seriously.

"Are you serious? He's caught because of you and all your thinking of is your money!" Usopp yelled outraged by what he was hearing. "Whatever I'm gonna save him, stay here and make sure your money is safe since that's all you people care about."

Usopp left without another word, leaving the two boys standing there ashamed at themselves.

"Let's go we can't get caught yet." Ace said turning back.

Sabo just stood there watching Usopp leave.

At an unknown shack, Usopp could be seen looking into a window. Luffy was hanging with a rope by the beam of the shack. Porchemy was repeatedly punching him asking where Ace was.

"Damn he's beating Luffy hard. If I don't do something he'll die even if he has a devil fruit." Usopp said readying his gun, before shooting one of the guys and reloading. All the pirates froze hearing a gunshot and having a crew mate fall before another sounded and another person hit the ground before Porchemy yelled, "What are you doing you idiots, get the shooter."

Before they moved one more dropped, and the original 7 pirates were now 4. Usopp started running while reloading and tripped spilling all of his bullets that Garp had given him.

When he stood up, he was surrounded by 3 pirates while one of them was watching from the door of the shack.

"Your surrounded kid!"

"You'll pay for killing our people."

"Let's see you run from this."

Usopp sighed thinking, 'This is we're I die, huh.' Before reading into a stance holding the barrel of his gun. 'Well if I die either way, let's go down fighting.' Then he rushed towards the one ahead of him swinging the pistol down on top of his head, but it was blocked by a sword while another hit him from behind.

The three pirates beat him unconscious, then dragged him into the shack with the other kid still hanging by the rope with blood dripping from all over.

"Usopp!" Luffy cried.

"He's already unconscious it'll be his turn soon." Porchemy said. "Now tell us where Ace and the money is before we kill the both of you."

"I won't say." Luffy said with fire and tears in his eyes.

That seemed to light a fuse in Porchemy as he rained blow after blow on Luffy with his spiked gloves.

After 15 minutes, Usopp woke up hurting from the early beating and looked up to see Luffy bloody beyond repair and hanging from the rope.

"TELL ME!" Porchemy demanded out of breath.

"I..won't...say.." Luffy muttered out looking unconscious.

"Fine." Porchemy said while taking his spiked gloves off. He then grabbed a sword from his subordinate and said, "Then die." Before swinging it down.

"LUFFFY." Usopp yelled through tears, but just before the sword came down.

*BANG*

Ace and Sabo broke through the doors. Sabo quickly knocked out a pirate with a sword and cut down Luffy, while Ace swung his pipe at Porchmey.

Sabo then grabbed Usopp who had passed out from relief and yelled, "Ace we gotta go!"

"I never run from an opponent!" Ace yelled back before slamming his pipe against Porchemy's sword until it broke and a thin line appeared on his forehead.

Sabo seeing the situation was bad dropped luffy and Usopp and ran back. Together they fought for 30 minutes before finally knocking Porchemy out.

Once they caught their breath, they picked up Usopp and Luffy and ran back to their hideout. Once back land everyone was bandaged up, Usopp couldn't help but ask, "Why did you decide to come for us."

Ace ignored him and looked at Luffy who was crying about how scared he was and yelled at him, "Why didn't you tell them where we were! And stop crying like a girl." Luffy immediately tried to stop sobbing while tear leaked out of his eyes.

"Because..if I did...you wouldn't want to be my friend anymore." luffy said in-between sobs.

"Why do you want me to be your friend so bad." Ace said while sighing.

Usopp smirked, before Luffy said, "Because there's no one else, Who am I gonna trust except you guys."

"But why put up with all the crap I've given you." Ace asked.

"It's better then being lonely." Luffy said sadly. Even though it was his second time hearing it, it still almost made Usopp cry.

Ace looked at Luffy and said, "So me being around helps."

"Un."

"You want me to be around or it hurts."

"Un."

"You'd be sad if I died."

"Un."

Ace eyes glossed over for a second, before saying while laughing, "Well I don't want to be friends with a crybaby like you."

"Hey those spike gloves hurt." Luffy said in indignation. "Plus I'm only 7, I bet when I'm older I wouldn't cry."

"I don't cry when I was 7." Ace mocked. Usopp and Sabo laughed at the two before looking at each other and smiling. Then Sabo spoke up and said, "Well now I have a problem, my home was in the Grey Terminal, and those pirates will definitely kill me if I show my face their. So looks like I'm staying with you guys."

Ace and Luffy grinned and we all walked back to Dadan's place. All the while, Usopp couldn't help but think, 'I guess their not as bad as I thought.'
