The Whitebeard Pirates Are On The Move

A week had past since the end of the World Conference.

The members were already escorted back to their respective kingdoms and territories, and the escort marines were currently on their way back to Headquarters. Fleet-Admiral Kong had received notification that the World Government had destroyed a particular island that was within the Whitebeard Pirate's territory. 

Retaliation was a gurantee coming from Whitebeard, but the question that was currently worrying the higher-ups was: What would he do? There were many oppurtunities that Whitebeard could have done in order to make a statement. However, the possibility that Whitebeard himself would act had simply multiplied the risk factor for both the Marines and the World Government. 

Currently, the Marine higher-ups were about to have a whole meeting about this and address how they would be handling the Whitebeard pirates moving forward. It wasn't just Whitebeard, news of Boris retiring from patrolling the Whitebeard Pirate's territory and joining Whitebeard's personal fleet was concerning as well. 

After the slaughter of the five World Nobles that was dubbed 'The Falke Incident'. The World Government took a non-approach stance towards Whitebeard's territories. They were already weary of Whitbeard, but adding Boris into the mix was going to be a catastrophe. As such, the rest of the Marines were to be informed on how they would be handling the Whitebeard Pirates from there on out.

They wouldn't stop arresting their pirates, however, they wouldn't go out of their own way to start a fight with them. They would leave this to the other pirates that were currently roaming around the New World. Matter of Fact, the number of pirates that were currently entering the New World had doubled compared to the past. This was because of Roger's infamy, causing chaos around the world. 

Fleet-Admiral Kong had headaches whenever he thought about Gol D. Roger. Judging from the movements of the Roger Pirates. It was clear that they had been looking for the Poneglyphs, and the World Government was more than alarmed to hear this. As a result, the bounty on Roger's head just kept growing and growing as time passed. 

Admiral-Kong started making his way towards the meeting room, all the Rear-Admirals, Vice-Admirals and Admirals should have been present within the room. 

Walking into the meeting room, everyone quieted down as Admiral Kong set his documents down on the podium that was infront of everyone. He promptly cleared his throat before beginning his speech.

"Listen, the World Government has just notified the Marines to have an eye out for the Whitebeard Pirates. This order has become a high priority because the World Government has sunk one of the islands within Whitebeard's territory. It's obvious that the Whitebeard Pirates are going to take this as a sign of provocation, and they are probably planning a retaliation as we speak," Admiral Kong promptly announced. 

"As a result, I want half of the Vice-Admirals and Rear-Admirals to move into the New World for a bit. Just until Whitbeard Pirates finish their retaliation, after that, they will return to their initial stations as usual," Admiral Kong finished.

One of the Vice-Admirals, Vice-Admiral Guillotene, raised his hand up to ask a question. Fleet-Admiral Kong looked at him and nodded his head in acknowledge him.

"Does this mean that we're going to war with the Whitebeard Pirates?" Vice-Admiral Guillotene asked.

"Possibly, the World Government doesn't want to acknowledge this possibility. However, we all already know that this can lead to a war," Admiral Kong answered firmly.

Murmurs immediately broke out within the meeting room. Other Marines like Garp and Sengoku had grim expressions upon hearing the news. It wasn't abnormal for Marines to go through war-like situations, however, they were about to go to war with one of the strongest people within the world. Not to mention that Whitebeard had a Vice-Captain that could go toe-to-toe with both Admirals Sengoku and Zephyr. 

Admiral Kong patiently waited for the murmurs to die down before he kept talking. 

"Now, another important matter to discuss is the situation pertaining to Gold Roger," Admiral Kong began, "These pirates have been causing bits of mischief around, but now they have began searching for Poneglyphs. This isn't a good look for us, we need to stop them before they do anything with the information that they have already gotten."

"Garp, I want you to be alert on news pertaining them. Though the situation with Whitebeard takes precedent, we shouldn't be undermining the threat that Roger poses to us," Admiral Kong ordered Garp.

Garp grumbled in compliance and grabbed a snack from a nearby pantry before starting to eat it. Admiral Kong moved on with the other important topics of discussion for the rest of the meeting.

Admiral Kong was just about to finish up with the meeting when he was rudely interrupted by a Marine Soldier.

"Fleet-Admiral Kong! We have just received news that the Whitebeard Pirates are on the move!"

The Fleet-Admiral immediately stopped what he was saying before he grabbed the report that the Marine Soldier had in his hands. As he read through the paper, his brows couldn't help but furrow more and more as he grasped the contents of the report. 

The Whitebeard Pirates had split forces at one point. A Moby Dick replica along with a couple of ships was spotted moving towards the Grandline, the other three replicas of the Moby Dick were still together. Unfortunately, there was no clear sign on whether or not Whitebeard or Boris was on the ship.

"Have some Marines monitor their movements, and just in case, Vice-Admiral Guillotene; go to Sabaody and maintain vigilance on their movements from there," Admiral Kong ordered.

Guillotene immediately saluted before moving out of the meeting to start his mission.

"Also, keep track on the other three Moby Dick ships. We have no confirmation on the location of Whitebeard and the Storm Dragon, a simple assumption can lead to devastating consequences," Kong ordered after a bit of more analysis. 

An island within the Whitebeard Pirate territory

Nico Olvia looked on wearily as a Whitebeard flagged ship was moving closer to their location. She had called Boris and informed him of their exact location, he informed them that he would be sending someone to pick them up. 

He also informed him about how he wouldn't be able to meet with her immediately, the Whitebeard Pirates were currently getting ready to retaliate at the World Government for what they did. He was simply too pre-occupied with other things to make time to meet up with Olvia. She understood her predicament, and accepted his offer for brief hospitality for the mean time. 

The ship docked near the shores and a group of pirates made themselves known to Olvia's crew. At the forefront, a man with a small mustache with two swords sheathed on both his sides slowly began to make his way towards them. 

"My name is Vista, and I am the 5th Division Commanders for the Whitebeard Pirates. I was sent by Boris to pick you up and guard you till his return," the man briefly introduced himself.

"It's nice to meet you Vista, I am Nico Olvia and this is my crew. We will be in your care," Nico Olvia briefly introduced herself and smiled.
