Chapter 42 Setting the plan and Establishing Communication

3rd person Pov

After arriving back on the Victory Dark called everyone to the command center inorder to plan what to do next since the scout will be back soon and the fact this is the star wars universe Dark felt he needed to figure out what to do since he could not deal with the Galactic Empire but luckily since this planet Hoth was uninhabited it means it should be before the Empire since the rebels Inhabit the planet during that time they also kept it after the fall as well so it's before the rise of the Empire but the issue for Dark was that he had to figure out what to do since he could have to deal with the sith empire or the galactic republic or even worse something that was never mentioned since not much canon stuff exist from before the Sith empire either way he has to deal with glorified space wizards who can literally electrocute you to death or throw you like a rag doll.

Although after Dark thinks about it he could have had it worse like being in the Warhammer 40k universe which would possible be worse or even the StarCraft universe and have to deal with the Zerg instead so in the end he was could see that the device used to open the wormhole did not put him in a place he would have no chance to do anything but hide at least the tech in this universe should be at the level the covenant was at or slightly better but he still needed to find out stuff.

Not long after the last person arrives to the command center a small probe comes out of hyperspace heading directly towards the Victory carrying the info that Dark needs to plan his next move as it enters the Victory's hanger a technician can be seen waiting for its arrival as if noticing the officer the probe heads directly towards them before coming to a complete holt as it does the technician picks a cable from the ground and plugs it directly into the underside of the probe.

After the cable is makes a clicking sound the probe starts transferring the data it has directly to the ships mainframe allowing Dark to access it from the meeting room he has everyone gathered to discuss the plan " right we have the data from what the drone was able to determine it should be about 20 years before the battle of naboo which means we have about 30 plus years before war starts" when Dark is finished speaking one of the officers speaks " how are you sure that war will happen exactly" after the officer stops talking victory speaks" he always knows if i did not know he has void control as his powers i would say he could see the future" Victor's words cause everyone in the room to look at Dark in awe.

Before anyone else can say anything else Darker continues " right the plan is simple we need to set up a base in this system although it would have been better if the system had more resources available but we have to make due we also need to set up the communication station to allow communication back home that way we can get things we need from Red Queen and have them come through the wormhole directly here" the officers all sigh knowing at least they had help from back home available and knowing whatever made the wormhole can open it again to allow passage back home incase of emergency what they did not know was that Dark could open it permanently but it requires a astronomical amount of energy on that could be generated with the reactors they have or Darks realm could generate if he tries he would cause the system harvest to collapse on itself while also losing his ability to be reborn again something he can not risk.

After the plan is decided Dark dismisses everyone back to do their tasks while oblivion team stay behind " ok you guys need to prepare even though this universe is currently at peace it's not safe there's pirates and bounty hunters everywhere in the galaxy that means we need to stay hidden for now meaning no using your powers since they may be detected by the galactic republic or any ship passing by the system " oblivion team nod understanding the situation before leaving the meeting room.

After about 6 hours have passed the construction on the surface and the medium sized shipyard was complete while the communication station was closed to being finished proving that bringing a large quantity of construction sentinels was a good idea the only issue was that the remaining construction materials was running low to deal woth this Dark has the newly completes shipyard build miners to harvest the raw ore from the astroids in the system and he already had refineries and assemblers built on hoths as part of the base construction since most of it was just reinforcement of the already built base in the snow mountains the refineries had also been finished.

Dark knew he had just over 30 years he needs to figure out why his system chose this universe it could have been any his only clue was what Destiny said to him he would need to understandstand this universe law to use the force with this thought he decides that should be his goal for now to understand the universal law that allows the force to exist here but not anywhere else.

After Dark confirms his personal objective he focuses on the managing the plan making sure that everything is on track until he receives new that the communication station is built allowing for smother communication to test he opens a channel directly to Red queen " Red Queen are you receiving" Dark waits for a reply and not long after "yes the communication is working also I would like to report that some stramge data has appeared in my database consisting of ship designs and technology info and all the data is complete" Dark went silent for abit wondering if someone had done something to hee database until [ that was the system you completed a hidden mission the reward was an assortment of ship blueprints and their accompanying technology info the mission was to discover your purpose here i should also note that an optional mission generated]

Curious at this dark has a look at what the optional mission was

Missions:

Change the future of star wars that you know but be warned the changes could effect you drastically so be careful

Seeing this Dark understands his best advantage is that he knows what's going to happen but the system itself does not specify the reward just that it depends on how big the changes effect things which means it could be good or bad but for now Dark plans to not make any changes since he needs to build up first.

After Dark closes the system window Dark asks " Red queen is there any tech in the data you received that can lock a system making it impossible to enter without a security code" this is because Dark is aware that if they make the slightest mistake they could be detected so having this will make things easier for him " yes there is it's just that it's the tech is difficult to decipher and will take me a few weeks to do only than can i determine the build time required " this was what Dark needs to hear " ok that's your first priority let me know if anything new happens on your end" after finishing his sentence he ends the call and begins focusing on what to do with the old republic station that was not here in canon unless it was destroyed before the rebels setup base on hoth but if that's the case than that means something happens to destroy it in future although now it's going to be refurbished to suit his needs.

With that in mind he sends orders to the idle construction sentinels to retrofit the station equiping it with some Lazer turrets and repairing the damaged hangers while building a small fighter construction facility to allow for constant fighter construction for the station according to Destiny's calculations it should take a few hours to do and since Dark has already assigned everyone their task he decides to get some rest while the rest of the construction is going on.

With this in mind Dark leaves the bridge of the victory and heads to his personal quarters once he arrives he takes his helmet off and lies down on his bed before falling asleep wondering if this life will end better than his last since it started worse than his previous one since he turned into a experiment in this one but now he is virtually immortal he realises that even with this safety net it does not mean his life will be better there are worse fates than death his body maybe numb to emotions but not his soul despite his soul no longer being in his body but rather in his realm that's to the dedgra ritual that the system had modified and given him.
