Doyle POV: Arising Opportunities
"You want to take your things back...?" I asked with an astonished gasp, boring holes into Len's face as I stared at him with wide eyes while he shifts with slight discomfort.
"I... I mean, it's probably taking up space... And it's making your house a little cluttered... Ah, not to mention— it's probably going to be a hassle for you to clear it up despite just removing your cast!" Len hurriedly elaborates his claims, his words sounding more and more like excuses to remove any traces of himself from our shared residence for the past month or so.
All the memories and remnants of our days shared in the same space slowly being stripped away a piece at the time with each article of his possession being swept into his arms. My mood immediately took a tank for the worse as a bitter feeling surged from the pits of my stomach.
