It had been a few months since I last saw Len. He still seemed as cute as ever when I last saw him. I do wonder why the messages and calls I've made never got through to him, but work had been way too hectic to head to a telephone company to ask for help.
I glanced at the flight ticket in my hand, feeling a nervous smile tugging on my lips as I folded my legs and covered my mouth. It's been awhile since I felt as giddy as this. It's only a few hours flight before I could see Len.
I whipped out the new phone I bought before the interconnected flight, sending Len a message that I was about to return before locking the screen. It was a stroke of bad luck that my phone got stuck in the conveyer belt as I leaned over to pick up my luggage. Not only did it get crushed, it caused a short circuit and all my phone's data was wiped. Even the SIM card couldn't be saved. It's a good thing I memorised Len's number by heart.
