Dameon pushes the swing as I chuckled, feeling the cool wind on my face. The tears from earlier dried off and was replaced by a grin on my face.
As the swing slowed to a halt, Dameon hugs my waist and helps me off the swing. We sat on the seesaw, as he uses his weight to get it started in the bobbing motions.
My heart felt warm, as I recalled the few minutes from earlier when he told me he would help create better memories here. He said it was probably not going to do much to help, but hoped that it would bring me some comfort so that I wouldn't be sad in a playground again.
Just the thought brought a smile to my face as I climbed off the seesaw at the chance I got, throwing him off balance as he stumbles to catch his footing when I tackled him to the ground. Dameon stares up at me in surprise, his sky blue eyes looking ephemeral as my reflection gazed back at me.
"Len? Is something the matter?" Dameon asks as he gently strokes my cheek.
