Missing...

No matter how hard she thought she couldn't remember anything. By the end of the day, she only felt lingering pains here and there in the muscles and nothing more than that.

When Cole asked her about the incident he got to know that she herself didn't have any idea so Cole also dropped the subject.

Another thing concerning except her memories was the continuous disappearance of the children of their room. Cole even asked some of the kids of other rooms, the result was the same. In their room as well, children were disappearing and the number was increasing day by day.

Cole suspected that either the children were badly hurt or they were no more alive. When Merry would heard Cole's these theories she would get chills fearing that their fate might be the same.

Even though the number of children was decreasing the people working there didn't faze at all. It was like completely normal to them, they continued Cole's and other few remaining kids' training daily on top of that they were also given the mysterious shot to them almost everyday.

The days went by but nothing out of the ordinary happened to her except that last time.

Merry spent her days just staying in the room and wondering what could have happened to those who were gone . She often forgot that those people whom she was used to call children or kids were actually all around her age. Maybe it was because she was a little bit of old soul and didn't play with the others when they used to play in the opportunities found rarely.

Besides from Cole she had only talked to few of the kids whose bed were near her and among them she frequently talked to this girl who had short hair. As none of the kids there had a name they didn't call his other by any particular name but they used to have conversations long enough to consider them friends.

Two weeks ago, one day, the girl didn't return from her training. Merry was terrified but couldn't do anything. She spent the whole night crying. After all these days her friend hadn't returned.

The missing kids never returned. It got to the point where it was only Merry and Cole who were left in that room.

Merry and Cole stayed there for few more days until they were told that the people there were shifting them to another room.

Merry was afraid that she would be parted with Cole when the shift happens. In the present room the kids there had similar type of powers to Cole related to strength and all except Merry. If the people there categorized kids in rooms according to their powers then it was highly probable that she would be in different room than Cole.

Contrary to her fear when the day came for the room change, she was once again put in the same room as Cole.

They were both taken to a room from where there were further openings to other rooms. They were each given a separate room and it looked like other rooms had already been occupied. It was kind of a shared house type of living arrangement.

At first, they both were confused by this change but decided not to think too much about stuffs that are eventually going to be known.

When opening the door, at once, a table with five chairs on each side could be seen in the middle of the probably living room or supposedly common space between the people staying there. The table was long like the one used to held meetings in offices. It could also be seen that there were at least five rooms inside.

In contrast to the previous room they were living, this place's walls had a little bit of color to them like light blue and yellow. They also had some type of plants near the farthest corner of the table. In overall, it looked pretty good to Merry.

The guards left when Merry and Cole were assigned to their rooms. They both checked their rooms. Both of them had a similar layout with one bed and a small study table with a chair.
