Another big question

Cole couldn't do anything but to wait. He didn't sleep that night. He kept waiting for her.

Only in the early hours of the morning, Merry was brought in the room they were staying. She was unconscious and two guards were carrying her.

They laid her down on her bed and were going to leave but suddenly someone grabbed one of the guard's arm and asked, "What happened to her? Why is she unconscious? What did you guys do?" It was none other than Cole.

The guard didn't answer and just went thier way after harshly shoving Cole aside.

Cole immediately went to look at Merry and tried to wake her up but no matter what, she wouldn't open her eyes.

It was very scary for him as he had seen everyday, kids collapsing and never waking up after the training sessions or tests in the doctor's room.

He checked her breathing and it was still there and upon looking closely, it just looked like she was sleeping.

This gave him a little relief and he decided to wait for her to wake up. Only then, he would know what had happened.

After few hours, Merry slowly opened her eyes. It was a little too bright but she could slightly see that Cole was sitting just beside her bed in a chair.

She felt grateful that there was someone who would care for her. She really felt that she was gonna die when those guards took her. When she opened her eyes and saw that she was in her bed, she felt thankful for that this was not her ending.

"Are you okay?" Cole looked worried. Merry tried to sit up but she winced as her whole body hurt.

Cole helped her to sit leaning on the wall. "What happened? You were gone for a whole day. Did they give you the shot?" he asked all at once.

"Slow down!" Merry replied. "I also don't know what was going on. Some guards came and took me. I was unconscious the whole time. I don't even remember a thing but it feels like I was run over by a truck. Everything hurts right now."

They both didn't have a clue what they did to her. It looked like she was a little weak but apart from that it didn't look like she was badly hurt. Cole relaxed a bit and suggested that she took rest.

As Cole and others went for their daily trainings and Merry was alone in that room. She used to walk around, draw or even snoop around on other people's belongings sometimes purely out of curiosity.

She did those sort of things usually but she couldn't move a bit without hurting that day. Therefore, she just laid on her bed the whole day.

While laying down, she continuously tried to think if she could remember anything about the time they took her but it all felt like a dream. She was last conscious on her room and when she woke up she was in that same room.
