"I'd love to..." I replied with a naughty smile.

This was exactly what I needed to calm my nerves.

Elena inched closer to me, and wrapped her arms round my neck, while maintaining eye contact, "My dad is not in the stronghold right now... So we have the house all to ourselves for tonight" she said naughtily, with pink cheeks.

I grabbed her waist from behind, and pulled her on me, so as our body were now pressed together, "So, what do you want for dinner tonight?" I asked, and grabbed one side of her ass with my right palm.

She bit one end of her lower lip slightly, at my gesture. "You..." She whispered with a blush.

"I don't think I heard that" I teased with a smirk.

"I want you..." She whispered louder, and planted her lips on mine.

I began sucking her lips and tongue affectionately, as she did the same and leaped on me, with her legs wrapped firmly around my waist. I grabbed her ass with my both palms to support her weight, and began heading for the stairs at the dining room.

She sucked my lips and tongue so fiercely, that I felt like she would start biting at it, sooner than later. It didn't take her long to mop all the saliva in my mouth, with her tongue, and we both ran out of breath, and withdrew our lips.

By then I had gotten to my room, so I gently laid her on my bed, and leaned beside her, without making any further moves. And when she saw I wasn't proceeding, she gently pushed me over to lay on my back, and laid on me.

"Alex, please let me in, I want your happiness to be my happiness, and I want your sorrows to be mine too... what's really going on in your life?" Elena asked with a sad tone, while caressing my cheeks affectionately.

It was time for the second stage of my game of minds.

"I'm really sorry if I'm hurting you by keeping things from you, but, I don't want to bother you with my problems... It just doesn't feel right to me" I replied sadly, and cuddled her warmly, as she laid her head on my chest.

"Do you love me, Alex?" She asked softly, with her head still resting on my chest.

"... More than you imagine" I replied with a crossed finger.

"I love you too, Alex... So let's share our problems, as one" she said, and raised her head from my chest, then pecked me on my lips.

It took all my will power not to cough, when she mentioned 'as one'. I wasn't ready to be 'one' with anyone.

*Sigh*

"My opponent back at the adventurer's guild, was someone I knew from my lost past, and when I saw him, I regained some of my memories" I sighed and said.

"I'm listening" Elena replied, while caressing my cheeks affectionately.

"I worked for Mr Franklin county, back at stronghold ninety one. He was the most successful relic merchant of his time, and was a man of his words. He succeeded by striving day by day, to put a food on the table, for his lovely wife and poor child..." I was explaining.

"I-i'm sorry, but... Could you s-skip... T-the sub story" Elena interrupted tactfully, with an awkward smile.

"Ooh, yeah... Uhmm... I-i was tasked to transport powerful relics from stronghold ninety one to here, but along the way, I got attacked by the terrors of the night, and had to fight for my life..." I resumed explaining.

"W-wait, uhmm... How did you get attacked by beasts? Weren't you supposed to use a portal?" She asked in confusion.

"T-the portals were..." I was thinking of what to bluff.

"Exhausted?..." She asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah, that's right... Exhausted. So I had to transverse through the terror of the night..." I continued bluffing.

"The portals have never been exhausted...?" She interrupted again in confusion.

"W-what?... Then why did you mention it?" I asked in confusion.

"I thought, t-that was what you wanted to say" she replied with a shrug.

"Long story short, I'm in debt for losing a powerful relic. And it's either I pay back with cash, or my head" I replied in a sad tone.

I was serious about leaving at first light tomorrow, because I couldn't risk Elena and Mr Frederick's life due to the bounty on my head. But I had no money on me, and had no plans of living on the streets... So I decided to get some money from Elena.

"Like I said, I want your happiness to be my happiness, and your sorrows to be mine too. I will help you with whatever amount you need..." She comforted, and nibbled at my lower lips.

"Please don't, I don't want to bother you with my monetary issues..." I said with a calm tone, and shook my head.

"No, please don't say that... What's mine is yours. I'll help as much as I can, okay?" She said, and pecked my forehead, "How much do you need?" She asked softly.

"One blue bill will do" I said with a calm smile.

"Please be sincere with me, we both know that a powerful relic can't be priced for one blue bill. I understand how feel, and I respect that a lot... So I'll be giving you fifteen blue bills" she said with a cute smile.

"No! That's too much. I won't accept that" I quickly replied.

I just wanted to extort some money from her, not bankrupt her. The currency for the alliance are, red bill, green bill, and blue bill. A hundred red bill, equaled one green bill, while ten green bill, equaled one blue bill.

The wealthiest man in the outskirts, could only boast of one green bill, which is the average amount of what the commoners make in a year. The average amount of what the merchants in the business district make in a year, is only five blue bills.

So being given fifteen blue bills by Elena, was like the average of what her father makes in three years. I wasn't unreasonable, and would never accept such an amount from her.

"You could use it to pay off the debt and also start up a lucrative business. Then when you're financially stable, we would get married and have cute kids... Don't you want that too?" She asked cutely.

"I'd love that so much, but, fifteen blue bills is too much for me to accept. I'll only accept two blue bills" I replied, and wrapped my arms round her waist.

"That's too small. I'll give you five, please don't reject it" she said, and began sucking at my lips, to stop me from rejecting her offer.

Not like I was planning on doing so anyways.
