Novice parade

  The entire night with Elena was highly rated eighteen, though we didn't have s*x... Because she kept shoving my d*ck back into my pants, whenever I pulled it out.

  When I woke up at the first light of the day, I saw that she was already awake, and was staring at me with an adorable smile. But I wasn't in the mood to smile back at someone who kept stopping me from being a man.

  I washed up, and packed up my clothes and footwear, into a suitcase, then headed downstairs for breakfast. When I got down to the dinning room, Elena was dishing eggs and bacon, into two set of plates.

"Hi..." She said when she saw me, and walked up to me to give me a lip peck.

"Hi..." I replied with a forced smile, and sat where she prepared for me.

  Breakfast was spent mostly in silence, with Elena's occasional glances and shy smile. Then I wiped my lips clean with a napkin, after I was done with my bacon, and stood up to take my leave.

"Alex, what's with the mood?... Is this about last night?" Elena asked, and walked up to me.

"W-what?...Pfft... I'm just sad at having to leave you" I said with an awkward chuckle.

"I'll miss you too" she said, and gave me a tight hug. "Here's five blue bills for the night" she added, and squeezed some notes into my pants pocket.

"Hey! I'm not a whore" I retorted.

Now I really felt like a whore.

"Promise me you'll be back for me...?" she asked, and looked me in the eye.

  I didn't want to make a promise I had no intention of keeping, and karma understood that perfectly well.

*Bang*

  The front door got kicked open, and a hooded figure stepped in. "You're coming with me..." Before the figure could finish it's sentence, it's head fell of it's neck, and another hooded figure stepped out from behind. "kid, you're coming with..." A thin blade protruded out the hooded figure's mouth, and it fell to floor, dead.

"Hi Alex, I missed you more than I thought I would" A familiar figure stepped out from behind.

"What the f*ck is going on?" Elena screamed out in shock.

"Ellen?..." I asked in surprise.

Two other familiar figure stepped in after Ellen.

"Alex, it's been long you know?" Peter said with his signature smile.

"Trust me, I didn't tell them you were here" Mike said, with his hands up.

  I was dumbfounded, and just stared at my old 'buddies' in surprise. I didn't know how to react to their 'majestic' entrance.

"Won't you come give me a kiss?" Ellen asked with a teasing grin.

"Alex! Who are these?!" Elena asked in fear.

"We are known as the elite rookies. We killed Edward Jones, the crown prince of stronghold ninety one, and that's why we're here in stronghold seventy five... Did your boyfriend not tell you all that?" Ellen said with a mischievous smile.

"... I-is that true, Alex?" Elena asked, while distancing herself from me.

"That's not true..." I quickly defended myself.

"Just tell her the truth Alex" Peter said with a sad sigh.

"F*ck you!..." I retorted.

"Get out of my house! All of you..." Elena screamed out in anger.

"Do you really believe..." I was saying.

"Shut up! I never want to see you again!... Get the f*ck out!" Elena interrupted in rage.

  I inhaled deeply, and picked up my suitcase. Then walked towards the door, where Ellen, Peter, and Mike were.

"Wait!..." Elena suddenly exclaimed. "Return the money I gave you! Now!" She said with a deadly tone, with her right palm stretched out.

"I really liked you... But that's not gonna happen" I said and ran out the door, with my fellow elite rookies running behind me.

"Alex!!!!" I heard Elena scream out in rage.

"I love you too!!" I screamed back at her, and mixed up with the crowd in the street.

"So, have you sexed her?" Mike asked naughtily.

"She didn't even let me pull out my d*ck" I replied, and gulped down the contents of the wine glass I was holding.

  We were in a hotel room, which had two bedrooms, and was lodged by Ellen. This was where she has been living with Peter, for the past two weeks, and she mentioned that Michael didn't make it out alive of stronghold ninety one.

*Laughter*

"She's a smart one" Peter commented with a chuckle.

"So... What's our next move... We aren't safe here anymore" Ellen said, while twirling her wine glass.

"We won't be safe in any of the stronghold, except one place" Mike said with a mischievous smile.

"Don't even think about it. It's literally impossible to sneak in there" I said, and shook my head.

  Mike was talking about stronghold one, which is the stronghold where the emperor resides in. Stronghold one was different from the other strongholds, it was as big as the other strongholds, but only had one section.

  There was no outskirt, or business district, in stronghold one. It was strictly for influential nobles, and is the most luxurious and safe guarded place, one can be in... According to our knowledge.

"Who said anything about sneaking in?..." Ellen asked with a smile.

"Seems like you have a plan?" I asked in surprise.

"I don't... But Peter does" Ellen said, and glanced at Peter.

"The novice parade will commence in two days from now... And we will be attending" Peter said with a smirk.

"Woah... I'm out of this plan" Mike quickly said with a dread tone.

"If we survive the novice parade, we would be given a noble license, and get a chance to live in stronghold one" Ellen explained, "Alex, what's your opinion?" She asked and glanced at me.

"Well... I say we go for it" I said with a shrug.

  The novice parade is a compulsory yearly event, where all the new inheritors, who are interested in having a political position in future, would travel together, through the forest of the dark.

  They would visit all the strongholds in the alliance, starting from stronghold one, while spending three days in each stronghold they arrive in. Then continue their journey in the dark forest, to the next stronghold on map.

  Many people had died during the parade, and many had gotten separated from the main team, never to be seen again. 

  Every single noble novice inheritor in the stronghold, were forced to attend, including the emperor's children. Because without going through parade, it was impossible to hold a noble title in the stronghold.
