look, I was hoping this wasn't going to be necessary but here we are.

a bunch of people seem to have an issue with the fact that the mc has a bad leg and have proceed to constantly pester and insult me over it. and for those people i have two little words:

Fuck off

(this message only applies to the guys who are being stupid)

I don't need to constantly look at the comments and see complaints about the mc, i wrote this damn novel because i wanted to and you're not going to ruin it for me or anyone else. i will always accept constructive criticism and use it to benefit the reader experience but all you guys are doing is just being assholes

so i provide you with the following options:

1. leave, neither i or the other readers need or want your opinions

2. write your own fanfic, part of the reason i started this ff was so that i could hopefully get others to do the same as honestly i am the only httyd fanfic that is presently updating

3. get over yourselves and enjoy the novel like everyone else. i gave the Mc a bad leg because i wanted him to have a background that was both different and similar to that of hiccup, providing a narrative that showed an entirely direction that could be taken by another person with similar circumstances. also i have mentioned multiple times that the mc spent multiple years training and has basically fixed his bad leg aside from the fact that he has a slight limp and it hurts if he stays on it for too long.

so once again either be a good and supportive person, like the rest of my readers who i value highly
