"You'll catch a cold if you keep staying out here." A voice resounded along the castle walls. A soldier who was watching over the walls turned around and saw a familiar face approaching him. He smiled and replied:
"Mr. Garin! Well, someone needs to watch over the wall…"
"You worry too much, Aleksei." Mr. Garin replied. "There's no beast crazy enough in this snowy tundra to dare mount an attack on the wall. Much like us, they're afraid of the cold."
Aleksei leaned on the railings of the wall. This 50-metre tall wall had railings instead of the usual brick walls. This was because the monsters in this region weren't known to be capable of utilising projectiles.
Aleksei replied to Garin with a smile:
"Still, if we get an inspection, it'll be all over for us."
"Such a stickler…" Garin chuckled.
