The lighting touch
The priestess with her saints sat in the ballroom watching the performance from the best entertainers in the whole kingdom. The palace was full to the brim with people from all over the kingdom coming to celebrate the blood moon festival.
The moon was out and the clock had already hit midnight, everyone had lost their immortality but they were too busy celebrating to mind.
The festival had different purposes, one was to enjoy this gift of mortally that happened once in a blue moon and two was to take people's minds off the fact they were human to keep them from panicking.
Elena so far was enjoying herself at the party, she had no complaints in terms of the food or the entertainment. Everything was fine except for Nathan.
