Chapter 39 – Armed, Refining

Snapped out, Masajiro answered with a stutter and fished keys from his back. Many keys made clinging sounds as they hit each other. They were connected to a rope. No one knew which one was the real key to the armory but Masajiro. He was the keeper of the key.

Atsuku silently watched the man find the key to open the lock quickly without hesitation. He wondered if his face was scary as the man looked scared when he met his gaze earlier.

It wasn't like he was oblivious of the reason. His bad mood wasn't cured yet, even with good news from Misaki, which made him a little giddy.

'I should control my emotions. Having my dream affect me is so immature of me.' He silently took a note in his mind.

The armory door was soon unlocked with a loud clunk, and Masajiro pushed the door open. His muscles flexed, and veins popped up in his arms and temple. A guy with a scrawny body actually pushed a heavy steel door open alone.

It was impressive.
