A lone female lay in a rather medium-sized room. The girl's name is Lily Allen, and it's unclear why she's here. It's impossible to say when she was abducted. The girl's clothing was soaked, and she was lying on her back to the ceiling. The only clothes visible in the light were sweatpants and a blouse as if she was apprehended while sleeping. Her expression was tense as if she was in pain. She appeared to be in her mid-teens. So young to have been kidnapped by an unknown perpetrator. Her hair was dark and short in a pixie cut. She appeared to be of ordinary height for a girl, standing approximately five feet six inches tall. She was on the slender side, with a few pimples on her face.
The chamber she was imprisoned in appeared to be one of fear, as they left a substance that appeared to be water accumulating around her. The liquid level is not high enough to drown, but it is high enough to be bothersome. The only sound you could hear in the room was the steady drips of liquid hitting the ground. It had no windows and would have been pitch black if it hadn't been for the flashing light. After hours of listening to the nose, one droplet at a time, it's enough to drive a person nuts.
Lily began to move gently as she felt moist. Liquid began to slosh with every movement she made. The last thing she could even recall was saying good night to her brother. She slowly opened her eyes to find herself resting in what she perceived to be water, the ceiling lighted by a faint light. Lily began to tremble as a light breeze blew through her damp garments. The only thing on her mind was to get moving.
She needs to look about the room, which she can only see a small portion of. Lily attempted to sit up but felt drowsy, her thoughts attempting to clear a cloud. She slid over onto her stomach and pushed herself. At first, she was oblivious to the fact that she was carrying a huge weight on her legs.
Lily failed again, landing face-first in the liquid she now believes isn't water. She couldn't identify the fragrance, but with the room barely lighted, she didn't dare to try to figure out what it was. Lily wasn't a fighter, and she didn't participate in sports or other activities that required her to move. No, she utilized her brain for everything; that was her ability. But she couldn't even begin to think about it. Fear was taking over her body as she couldn't fathom why anyone would desire her.
Lily struggled to stand once again, not giving up. She attempted to stand fully until her legs gave out when she finally reached her knees. She hadn't realized her legs were numb until now, and when she tried to move them, she felt a weird weight pull her back. It was chilly outside. It's interfering with my emotions, and the humidity in the air isn't helping matters. My body just doesn't feel like it belongs to me, she lamented.
She was still frantic to move and did everything she could to get out of the water. It was not meant to be, as she fought to raise herself again, this time landing on her backside. As the light above her flickered, she decided to take a closer look at the little puddle of liquid she was forced to be in. A deeper study revealed that the liquid was not water. It was, indeed, blood.
Her face fell into a frown as she looked down at her hands and realized that she was covered in blood. NO, NO, NO! This can't be happening. She attempted to breathe in the stagnant air. Even in her fear, she realized she couldn't move her legs. That's when she realized she was being held in the middle of the room by a chain. The length is so brief that all of the actions she's done are all she actually could.
Several black areas and weird forms lay motionless in the room, despite the light bulb barely covering it. Except for the missing door handle on her side, the door was slightly open. Her pulse rate rises as she yanks on the chains that bind her ankles. After another peek towards the door, she understands she has no choice but to remain tough. There was a slight buzzing sound, but it was enough for her to know it was drawing close.
Lily couldn't take her gaze away from her hands as she gave up on pulling on the cuffs. She knows why they're soaked and cold. She is also covered in blood. Her body shook with panic as she hoped her blood wouldn't end up in the little pool. As the odor of decomposing flesh reaches Lily, she wraps her arms around herself. It's difficult to resist the want to puke! The door abruptly began to open farther, so quietly that she would not have noticed if she hadn't previously turned her head in that direction.
A person quickly entered the room, followed by two others wearing masks. With a smile, blood was painted on them, and they all approached in an ethereal manner. They're all singing a song she's heard before but can't place. As everyone slowly entered the room, Lily realized it was too late to run. As they approached and came to a standstill in front of her, she sat motionless. The leader knelt and looked into her eyes as though they were looking into her soul. After that, the buzzing got more audible. She realized she had made a mistake not escaping, not fighting back.
"You are one of a kind, my darling, and you cannot be concealed." "You can't get away; submit to us and be set free!" exclaims the tallest. " The figure got to its feet and proceeded to stroll around the room with an inhuman-like grace. "YOU ARE THE PREMIER, MY CHILD!" "YOU ARE THE KEY PERSON WE'VE BEEN SEEKING!" The voice echoed around the room. With the voice, the music becomes louder. As the towering guy turned to look behind him, he noticed someone. She was now completely turned away from her. They're singing a melody that varies as they move.
Lily couldn't make out anything about the individual or the others who had entered the room with her. The speech was muted and sounded as though it were being delivered by many people at the same time. Both old and young voices, as well as male and female voices, can be heard. The words it said appeared to be coming from several sources. The commander and the two behind them were all dressed in the same robes. Each stride is lovely, almost ethereal in its execution. Blood spilled out from beneath the robes, contributing to the pool on the floor.
Lily's throat tightened as the leader turned around to approach her. Before she could even act, the creature grabbed her face with such ferocity. The roughness of the skin was palpable to her. Even up close, she couldn't make out any facial features with the hood pulled up. Lily attempted to move her hand away from her face, but it stuck to her. The other animals in the room began to pound their chests, raising the volume of everything. It became too much for her, and blood started trickling from her ears. Nonetheless, she can hear them in her head.
"One day, kid, you'll speak to me." There is an oath that binds us here, but you have the key. "YOU ARE MY KEY TO EVERYTHING," the leader stated, staring her in the eyes. The pool of blood surged up and began to fall as the sentence was read. She became a part of the room after mixing with Lily's blood, as she had dreaded.
"STOP!" she shouted. She struggled against her kidnapper, but the figure remained firm. It was unaffected by any movement. "NO, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE ME! PLEASE STOP!"
Blankets were flung all over the floor as a girl thrashed in her bed. The pungent odor of puke began to permeate the space. The girl was Lily Allen, and she sat up abruptly, her eyes wide. She was secure in her room; everything was a nightmare, yet it seemed very real to her. Her spacious space had been squandered. Her tiny bedside table had been knocked over, scattering her notepad and bottle of water on the floor. Pillows had fallen into the pule that was lying on the ground. Her desk, which contained her computer and numerous other trinkets and items, was the only thing that remained the same.
Lily was protected, even if she was terrified. She was saturated in perspiration, and the amount of sweat streaming down her cheeks made the room feel like a boiler to her. Her bedroom door slammed open, softly crashing against the wall.
"Please don't hurt me!" she begged. She curled her arms even more about herself, waiting for the pain to strike.
"Shush, I'm here for you Lily, go back to sleep!" shouted a voice she recognized right away as her brother's. Lily's body relaxed almost instantly, and her breathing became less frantic. She knows her brother will go to any extent to defend her.
He approached her carefully before putting his arms around her tightly. He clung to Lily while she sobbed.
Experiencing the anguish of nightmares and dreams on a semi-nightly basis. She weeps for the evil of the world, which affects both of us. Lily eventually slept off, believing he'd help me overcome my dreams. Knowing she will be safe from the outer world. Her brother placed her down as he gently proceeded to clean the room, barely pausing to switch on the light to make things easier. There were no stars in the sky, and the moon was obscured by fog. Making for a pretty eerie period, but once the light was switched on, everything changed.
Her wall is covered with posters of boy bands and television programs she enjoys. There was no blood to be found, just a regular room. She lay there watching her brother labor for what seemed like hours when it was just minutes. Before turning out the lights and leaving, he remained looking at her to make sure she was comfortable laying there. Taking care of him, including the old blankets. Soon after, he returned with new items and lifted Lily's head to check on her before just holding her. Slowly, she drifted off, both praying that she wouldn't have to face any more nightmares.
When Lily awakened to a loud ringing sound in the morning, she felt a lot more at ease. She stepped up to her alarm clock and turned it off. When she looked up at the ceiling, she realized her nightmares were growing worse. It happens so regularly now that her brother just keeps cleaning materials in her room. It's embarrassing for her, but he does it nonetheless and doesn't let her raise a finger.
She looked around and noticed her brother was nowhere to be found as if he had never entered her room. He cleaned everything as if nothing had ever occurred, but she knows it did. She knows there's no use in remaining pessimistic since she needs to get up. Today it's the day of high school at Clearwater High, and it is also the day she is most nervous about. She hadn't been inside a school in seven years, let alone around people her age. It's also strange because this was the same school her brother attended, causing them to return due to others knowing them. They moved to South Carolina after their mother died so they wouldn't be reminded by others who knew them.
Maybe she's a bit nervous.
Yes, she is afraid to go out in public again.
Since high school, all of her concern has been for naught, as her aspirations have become yet another obstacle to overcome. I had no idea how immature individuals would be from seeing high school movies. According to my brother, it was time for me to go to school. Learn how to engage with people and make new friends. It will also be interesting to discover more about her mother, as her brother refuses to speak about her.
Lily was always closer to her mother than to her father. She adored both of them, but she felt a stronger bond with her mother. She hasn't felt the same since her death. As though a piece of her perished with her mother. After the burial, all she had was old photographs and a notebook that her mother had given her that she had never used due to the sadness of her mother's absence. He dad also decided to sketch more and grew more distant. Yes, he still loved us, but it wasn't the same. He sold the house when they relocated, which helped pay for the locations they stayed. He put their belongings in storage and promised her she may learn more about her mother when she turned eighteen. She can't wait to get her hands on the information.
The fragrance of cooking wafts over Lily as she gradually gets out of bed. She dashes into the bathroom to clean her teeth before entering the kitchen. She'll shower later since she prioritizes eating. Lily's brother, Ezra Allen, may be seen with his back to the table, doing the morning dishes. He had her dish ready at the table, so all she had to do was eat. He was humming and beaming with delight as he washed the dishes. Ezra is dressed formally in black khaki shorts and a simple black t-shirt. Ezra started wearing his hair short, and Lily decided to follow suit. Ezra also maintained a little beard, giving him the appearance of being older than he was. People assume Lily and him are father and daughter since we share so few similarities, especially given our age difference.
Lily chose to cut her hair short after seeing Ezra do so. Ezra also wore a beard, giving the impression that he was much older than he was. People mistake Lily and him for father and daughter since we have so few similarities, especially given our age gap.
"Lily!" said her brother, singing her name.
He was drying his hand with a cloth he had slung over his shoulder. He took hold of the chair, swung it around, and leaned forward.
"Ezra!" she cried back with equal zeal.
"So, my beloved sister, you're going to my school, so I'll give you the lowdown."
"Hmm, I'm OK; I believe I can manage anything."
"How dare you reject the great Ezra Allen's advise!" he shouted, leaping up and raising his fist over his chest.
I couldn't help but smile, because my dumb brother could always make me laugh no matter what. However, after the brief dialogue, he dashed away before I could respond. Okay, he wins this one.
Lily began preparing for the commencement of her last two years of school after finishing her meal and washing the dishes she had used. She doesn't know what she wants to do with her life and has no plans for college. She's still reeling from her nightmare. How they come and go deteriorates over time. Shaking her head, she realized she hadn't gotten to see her aunt this morning, which was unusual.
Lily's brother and the woman they call aunt are the only ones she is entirely open with. Anna Collins is the aunt's real name, and she feeds and cares for Lily and her brother as if they were her children. She suffered a miscarriage years before meeting them, so she met after her father became very withdrawn. Being her dad's sister she cared for us even more. Around the time of the miscarriage, she also lost her husband in a car accident, her last name coming from her late husband. After hearing the funeral, she vowed to help them. They all met in their South Carolina apartment community. Everything seemed so long ago.
She goes through the rituals of getting ready for school like a machine. After showering, you can wear whatever you choose. She's unconcerned with her physical looks. Lily is utterly clueless about her brother's weekend plans. She appreciates that he makes an effort to drive her to school and that he does not reject her silence. Lily feels grateful to him for raising her and risking his future to secure her safety. He continues to pretend as if she didn't wake up screaming and weep herself to sleep in his arms. Lily reclined back in her chair and let his words wash over her, calming her for the first time since he was one of her few friends for years.
Finally, as Lily enters the school, Ezra wishes her a good day and drives away. Lily had forgotten to ask her brother about what had happened to their aunt. Sigh, she'll text her later if she hasn't heard from her by lunch. She also received a message from her dad saying have a day. She just send a thumbs up to him. Lily began to shrink within herself after realizing she was in front of the school. This is the first time she has been away from the folks who have always kept her safe.
Although she had promised herself that she would finally make a friend today! With that, she strode forth past the glasses doubles into a student-filled corridor. The office was on her right, and straight ahead were the doors to the cafeteria, if she wanted to go there. The sheer number of people at the school made Lily feel a bit overwhelmed. She spotted a blonde girl gaze at her before turning. Lily had a vague feeling she had met that girl before, but she couldn't place it. Lily collapsed on the ground after feeling strong pressure on her back.
"You should keep an eye on us as we travel," the girl remarked.
Lily pulled herself up as she felt heat rising in her neck. The girl who shoved her was joined by two other females who were all laughing at her. Lily is determined to avoid meeting people and ignore everything.
Someone was observing her from the side of her eye, but she concluded it wasn't with it. She just ignored the children's whispers and let them wash over her. She didn't care if it made her look mean because she was completely unaware of what was going on. Fortunately, she's been here previously and knows most of her professors, so she can go to her homeroom class quickly. I chose to arrive early to get a seat in the back. The teacher was already there and gave Lily a sidelong glance as she went in and sat down, but he remained silent.
Lily was bored and began to gaze about the room as she sat there, bored. English was also taught by the teacher. The walls were covered with posters of various Shakespeare plays. He appears to be a fan of classics. Lily looks across at the instructor, who is reading a newspaper. She was perplexed as to who still reads newspapers. He was a young man named Liam Mcphee. He has a youthful demeanor and looks to be between the ages of twenty-six and twenty-seven, just like her brother. He wore a pair of angular glasses and seemed to be a typical hipster. His face was shaved and his long hair was pulled back in a ponytail.
As she paused her gaze on the teacher, Lily felt a vibration in her pocket. It was only a text message from her brother, with a cute cat emoji, wishing her a good first day. Before shutting off her phone, she quickly texted a thank-you message. It was time for homeroom, and the kids needed to be counted, so the room started to fill up. Simply informing the school about who arrived and who did not arrive on the first day. Lily looks around to see who else is laughing and talking. She rested her back on the desk, reminiscing about her life.
Her life would have been perfectly normal seven years ago. Her life was perfect, or as perfect as a nine-year-old could hope for. Her family comprised her mother, father, and older brother. Lily remembered returning home to her mother's loving hug as a happy memory. She generally has some handcrafted goods for Ezra and herself. Her father would regularly accompany her on her travels, and her brother would occasionally accompany her as well. Her brother used to take her to the park to play when she was younger. She was as grateful for everything as a six-year-old can be.
They were content until everything changed one day! Lily was on the couch with her brother and dad, waiting for her mother to return from work, when they heard a knock at the door. It was a police officer, and after that chat, her life fell apart. I felt lightning tear through her as she fell to the earth. Her brother held her as they both sobbed for what had been lost. Their mother died in a car accident.
Bringing it up regularly causes Lily to feel ill or suffer from awful headaches as a result of the medicine. Lily is troubled by the fact that she has forgotten the names of her mother. She also has trouble recalling their voices at times. It's incredible how cruel the world is At times, yes.
screamed someone "Miss Allen! shocked Lily from her daydream.
Everyone in the room was staring at her as she gazed around the classroom. In her view, the teacher's annoyance is obvious.
"While I appreciate that homeroom isn't a lesson, I wouldn't advocate sleeping through it if you don't want to miss anything crucial." Miss Allen, maybe you should sleep more the next time you come to school." Mr. Mcphee told her in a sarcastic tone. He shoved his spectacles in front of his face with a grimace.
As everyone in the room looked towards the front, Lily flushed warmly and nodded at the teacher. The bell rang and everyone immediately grabbed their belongings and fled before the teacher could continue talking about what he had to say. Lily was the last to depart, so she has no one to deal with. As the music begins to play, she inserts her earphones into her ears. The sounds of the kids surrounding her were drowned out by her.
She comes up to her locker to get her books for the day. They distributed lockers and books on Tuesday so that pupils would not be overburdened. This was convenient for Lily, who was attempting to recollect every detail from that long-ago year. For three months, she was ignorant that her parents had been slain. Lily awakened in a hospital room, unaware of where she was. She looked about, as if a cloud had suddenly lifted, and saw nothing but her brother. It's odd since she looks to be younger than she recalls. She looked about for her parents but couldn't find them.
Now that he was 18, Ezra was supposed to feel safe among his friends. Despite this, he seemed to have remained awake for several weeks! Ezra could only hold Lily and convince her that everything would be OK. She returned her hug, perplexed as to why their parents were not present.
The ringing of the bell drew her attention away from her musings. She suddenly realized she was running late for her first day of class. Since she has those two first, I'm putting her science and math books in her bag. She locked her locker and dashed inside the science classroom.
Lily finds it difficult to cope in this school because she is unable to deal with the stars or communicate with others. It's difficult for her to be among others since she's so socially uncomfortable. She's also really bashful, so she doesn't want to say anything.
Lily entered the classroom and took a seat in the back. As she held back a flush, the heat began to build in her face. She kept her head down since she could feel everyone's gaze on her. As she approached the desk, she saw the teacher's gaze on her as she sat down.
"I appreciate you attending my class, Lilith Allen! DueI'm to being new here, I'll issue you a warning!" admonished Mr. Johnson.
Lily merely nodded quickly because she was already uneasy, and she quickly got out her science book and notepad to start taking notes for this lesson. "I simply know this will push everyone away from me," she thought to herself. After a few seconds, the teacher began his lecture, and she realized it would be a long day.
